  • Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory?

Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory? If that's true then how much resolution a 2 GB card can support? I mean on what map I'll be able to run a game like 'NFS RUN' on a resolution higher, if I have 2 cards with the same specifications but difference is 1 GB and 2 GB, I don't speak of GDDR3 128 bit NVDI GT 440. ?

Resolution is dependent on the GPU, and not on the installed memory. The memory will help the screen refresh more quickly, and video help in smoother race.

    According to the specs here:

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-gt-440-channel/specifications

You should be able to get a maximum digital resolution of 2560 x 1600 and an analog-resolution 2048 x 1536 (VGA). This assumes of course that your monitor will be very high. The highest card ira is limited by the capabilities of the monitor also.

Thus, the memory card more than video, that you, smooth graphics should work, but it will have no effect on the resolution.

  • Dual display (x 2)-l' one is PINK/PURPLE in color, how can I check for errors of video/graphics card?

I'm trying to implement 2 screens (extended desktop mode) and when I connect them both, however, I got a picture on two screens, one of them is color purple/pink.

I have swithced monitors around, it's NOT either of the monitors, they bot work very well... and the cablesARE guaranteed in the monitors and computer ports.

What is the video/graphics card which is the problem?... If so, how can I check these errors?

    Thanks to all who respond!

Try changing the cables, if they are of the same type.

I think that the problem is a damaged cable.

    Hello

I just got the Sims 3 for Christmas, and I can't get it started.

I just bought a new p7-1126 of hp computer that meets all the reqs as documented on the site of AMD System. (win7 64 bit, 1 TB hd, 6 GB ram, amd quad core 2.4 GHz processor)

This computer has an amd radeon hd 6550d graph with / 3 gb (I think) (which is more than 128 MB recommended)

and the drivers are up to date.

I get the error message "device 0 cannot run this title, no video graphics card supported not detected" and I can't seem to do anything to solve this problem.

This motherboard has problems of compatibility with the following cards:

NOTHING EVERYTHING GOOD (on this mobo).

GT630 on top, with 2 GB of VRAM, GT630 1 GB VRAM (mine), Ge Force GT210 1 GB Geforce GT630-2GD3

GT610 works of all kinds with video playback problems (I read).

Most of these cards, leader at all in windows. I bought a 1 GB of VRAM GT630, that I have to fire and lose money on the return shipping cost. In addition, spent several hours trying to make it work.

    I also read this:

    2009

For info, there are many reports of graphics cards with onboard integrated HDMI audio controllers or does not properly on the old ATI RS480/485 (Xpress 200) and motherboards Intel 915. The graphics function works well, but the HDMI audio controller will not install (or function) correctly due to resources in conflict, probably due to a limitation in the BIOS. So you can see that a graphics card that has its own HD HDMI audio controller does not work on this old motherboard.

So, if your motherboard is not likely to work with a new card (that you can generally post to a loss of ($)).

What choices are there? Try to get an exact same old?

How long before, (new card) dare go you until it became incompatible?

Whenever you have to go back, theres a loss on postage. If the seller actually accepts a return on a used item.

So where should I start looking for a card for this map mother RC410-M. and be sure that it will work, should not return to a loss of time and money.

    Ideas please!

    Thank you!

    SID.

    Hi Alcyone,

Yes, I now have a work card (ATI). I solved it myself in the end and was going to contact Gigabyte to the subject of the incorrent (or misleading) specifications put on their products. But I had spent so much time on this PC, that enough was enough and I never have. They would be even interested? I had contacted during my research (to ask on the GT630 before I bought it). The answers was not good (as they do not read the survey properly, as my questions remained unanswered). I think that sometimes they don't know, which is OK, but should say, so I don't waste my time and money.

I'm never return here at the end of the day, to write my solution either (I don't think anyone would need, old PC a whole). So that's it:

As you place your order of parts can be expensive, if you make a mistake (the two means of postage). Was important to me to make sure I got the right parts first. Or my fixed at low prices for the old PC would be costly. So ended up doing a thorough reading and research before buy you. Always end up with one that would work not (new GT630). I checked everything to turn on without result. I got a return postage, but it still lost $15 on the return of mail.

It is the video card that did not, which made me think to upgrade other parts. As I wanted to adapt to a new upgrade card (such as the same year 2006 than my PC, how use that could have? maybe I would still look in 6 months?).

I wanted the last card that works, which was new, top spec etc. But more than anything in the budget that I had put to the old PC.

What I found was (and it was also the same for the PSU (Power supply unit) I had to replace). Components are continually updated, and to the extent possible, they try to make it backward compatible. But when major changes occur is not always possible or practical. This point of intersection in the technology can become difficult to get the right part. As last will not work, too old is too old. In the Middle, to the point of major changes (where my PC) can be difficult, with compatibility issues more cause where backward compatibility ends.

I opened another post at PSU renewal/upgrade and the difficulties of the selection of an appropriate unit, but also around the time of my PC (2006), there were changes to the amount of power supplied to the rails of the tension.

I had read a lot of opportunities, for people with the same problems as me with my new GT630 but also on the 610, 620? and other cards.

The problem is between the PCI-E 2.0 and ver 2.1 version

Œuvres from version 2.0 to version 1.0

Version 2.1 runs on a slot machine Ver 2.0 without being lower versions.

But the GT630 is version 3.0 compatible (on the box) running on version 2.0 (in small print). I thought: run worm. 2.0 OK = compat backward for version 1.0 (not so).

I found that the card is a 2.1 version that can run in a ver 2.0 slot and also a ver 3.0 slot. Changes have been made to the 2.1 that are agreed on the 2.0 and 3.0, but will not work something before ver 2.0

I guess, because the GT630 I bought to work on version 2.0 (I read the fine print before buy you), it would be back compatible (like ver. 2.0). They should have set out on the box that it is version 2.1 and will be only backward to 2.0

To sum up, when you buy must be certain it's ver 2.0 and not higher.

Ultimately for a version 2.0, I had to get a used video card. Perhaps, there are always new there? But I had had enough and was in a hurry. Didn't want to send a return once again either.

The latest version (year), I could get, I found one on Ebay for a price, I was happy with (Aus$ 60). Seller said he had not much use, still orig box and on the pictures is very clean. Yes! no guarantee, but it's still a chance with buying used. I was a little out of choice. I did the best research, I was able on ebay and won in the end.

This is what I bought and works perfectly in my PC for what I want from him. Overkill really (no game), but at least he will have an easy life.

    ATI RADEON HD4850

    1 GB GDDR3

    256-bit

    PCI Express 2.0

You probably only wanted the info above please so excuse the extra information. I thought I should write something in case it is useful to others.

Just thought I would add this again from the wiki (good info)

Think I JUST RECEIVE THE ANSWER? wiki but inevitable loser. I've read before (must have been when suffering and vision go blurry?)

    PCI Express 2.1 (from wiki)

PCI Express 2.1 supports a large part of the management, support, and troubleshooting systems provided for the full implementation in PCI Express 3.0.

However, the speed is the same as PCI Express 2.0.

Unfortunately, the increase in power of the slot breaks backward compatibility between cards PCI Express 2.1 and some old motherboards with 1.0 / 1. 0 a, but most of the PCI Express 1.1 motherboards connectors are provided with a BIOS update by their manufacturers utilities to support backward compatibility of PCIe 2.1 cards.

  • HP-1330z: hp-1330z graphics card compatibility

I would like to find a graphics card that is compatible with my system. At this moment I have an AMD HD 7670.

    @River2626, welcome to the forum.

There are a few things to consider when choosing a video card.  The most recent video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  There is no way to update the motherboard in the UEFI.  The latest maps not requiring UEFI were the GTX 660/670.  MSI made a card that switches between legacy and UEFI.  You may contact their Tech Support to see what card they recommend for your computer.  It is the best way to know.  It ensures that you will not have to return a card that does not work.

You had to choose the power supply (PSU) from three choices: 300W, 460W or 600W.  The 460W and 600W would be good for most of the newer cards, but if you chose the 300W PSU, it will need to be upgraded.

Lets start over which is an antique with limited options because he has only PCI slots and not normal video card.  He has the card, you ask about "high definition 3D Performance & quality of the Image on your PC" If you plan to get one, try the EBay marketplace because it's really old hardware and you can get one for almost nothing.  For example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Visiontek-Radeon-X1300-Graphics-Card-256MB-128bit-900106-/191175474229

Just make sure one ordered is the PCI version.

  • Upgrading the video graphics card - HPE-180 t

I need to upgrade the video card in my HP Elite HPE-180 t. My PC came with ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card and the standard power 460 watt. I intend to switch to NVIDIA GTX 650 it, model 2 GB. I do a lot of editing video and need a video card that has "cuda" processors on the video card.

My questions are this card with my work computer at will (1) and will (2) I also need to update the power? If food needs to be replaced what brand and size of power supply should I buy?

Most GTX 650 it require a 450 Watt or greater power supply with PCIe auxiliary power connector. You may or may not need to provide a new power. Please review the Corair CX500, CX500M, CX600, or CX600M your power supply needs.

  • HP Pavilion p6623w video Graphics Card Question.

With the HP Pavilion p6623w, it has an integrated ATI graphics built in. I recently bought a Zotac GeForce gtx 550 ti AMP! Video card and I wanted to install it in the HP System. Unfortunately since I installed it, I had many problems to make same ot games starts. Star Wars: The Old Republic opens the menu and when I click on 'play' it black screens and closed auto itself. The same question comes with League of legends and any demo that I download.

I've updated the drivers as well as other updates that I did to my PC and still no luck, so I'm stuck. I guess it could be my integrated video card?

I can't seem to find a way to disable and exactly how would I have done that?

Please and thanks for the help!

Here are the specifications of your HP p6623w desktop and here are the specs of the ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 550 AMP Ti ! Edition graphics card, you are having problems with. According to the specifications of your computer, your system came with a 250 watt power supply. According to the specifications of the Zotac GTX 550 Ti, it requires a minimum system + 400 watts of power. Unless you have installed a new more powerful PSU, this card will try to draw more power than the PSU will provide.

With regard to the integrated... video card BIOS automatically disables it when it detects a card into the PCIe x 16 slot.

There is no 'card' you might be imagining. The video is one of the dishes chips soldered to the motherboard. You already have the best video system available for dv7-4000 series of laptops, so there is no way upward to something better.

After trying several HD 5450 (listed below), a graphics card that works is a "VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 - graphics card - Radeon HD 5450 - 2 GB memory DDR3 - PCI Express 2.1 x 16'.

I have read this thread and seen the suggestion of VisionTek, it also works with the card mother E3-1230V2?

I saw a thread suggesting ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5, someone at - he of the inputs on this card?

I tried a GeForce GT 610 2 GB and it did not work.  Check the use of the GTX650-E-2GD5 (DPT) power and make sure that it is less than 25 watts (see below)

    Quick notes:

    1. the location of PCIe x 16 is actually a "full-size x 8 slot" (also known as an x 16 slot / x 8) and the video card needs to work in this type of accommodation.

    2. video card power (TDP) is a limiting factor. Technical guide Dell says "the system supports a maximum power of 25 W for all four cards PCIe.»  and said Dell owner's manual "ATTENTION: to ensure correct cooling, not more than two cards of four extension may have more than 15 W power consumption (maximum 25 W each), not to mention the integrated storage controller card."

3 install the card with the monitor connected to the integrated video port / edge, change the built-in BIOS devices > on-board video controller 'Activated' / 'Standard' to 'Distributed', restart the computer and then connect the monitor to the Discrete / distributed / video port to Add on.

  • Confused on what video graphics card is installed on the pc of the tis.

I have a Dell Inspiron portable A14 5520 and yesterday found a camcorder Sony DCR TRV-350, which seemed completely lost, instead of hiding behind something on a shelf to head over. And yet it works, charged the battery, filmed a bit and he read to watch. I had never tried connecting this Sony to my Dell Inspiron, so I tried last night and FAILED COMPLETELY. I used to connect to my old Dell to the Sony pc, using a Firewire cable. I had no problem at all, but my current Dell has no firewire port to connect to. well, I can do it by USB, which was not difficult physically connected, but then, I learned why it appeared on my Dell, is because my OS is Windows 7, and Windows 7 does not recognize the Sony as being connected by USB cable. Large. I looked I could in what has my Dell, and in addition to usb, ethernet port, it also has an HDMI connector and a VGA connector. The VGA has 3 rows of 5 each, so 15 small plugin spots of pins. But looking in get a VGA adapter, I found there are many kinds available, and this isn't an area that I never treated. I have contacted Hauppauge and they advise their PVR2 HD would work connecting to my port HDMA and the streaming of the Sony through it. Very well. Oh, the price is about $175.00 for the HD PVR2, and it's a bit steep for me. I contacted Sony Forum and asked this question, asking what it advice could get connected, and in the meantime, what would be my answer on the type of graphics card I install, in case that I had to add something to my pc, I need to know if she would be recognized? I then FAILED to find, just what the Dell card installed in it, or how to find what it is. Any tips or help there? Thank you.

I'm doing that's answer to the problem I listed here. During the night, I got a response from Sony, and the man was very nice and helpful and the first thing it says is that the Sony's USB connection and my PC will ONLY WORK, if my OS is XP. This camera model does not work via USB, to any other OS. Then he said, if I had no Firewire or A / V port on my PC, then I would need to get a digital set-top video editing, and it would be more easy has / V OUT of the camcorder, connect the Video Converter cable I buy that plug into a USB port, and it would be set to broadcast. There are many choices out there, and he said that Sony cannot suggest that one is the best, or which one to buy, so just research and pick one to buy. Of course, using a set upward as he said, does not require another USB driver, in order to avoid too much is. As I said, it was very nice, and I appreciate pointing me in the right direction. Paul
