  • Need video help with Tungsten E2

    I had a Palm Tungsten E2 for Christmas and loved it, except its ability to play video files. I've tried everything I can think of to try to get the video files on my palm, and still, the Palm will never recognize that they are there. I tried the .mpg, .avi and .wmv files. I used the Palm Desktop Media application to try to get there. I can't use Quick Install because I have a Vista operating system. I tried to download TCPMP to see if it works, and it said on the website that they provide no longer TCPMP. I downloaded the file, he had left, and I couldn't get this one to download on my Palm, either. I also put the video files on my SD card, nothing helps. I've long been frustrated, so any help would be greatly appreciated. If the media player on my Palm does not work, I find rather software that is free.

    Thank you!

    First of all, the size of the card max for the E2 is 1 GB, so if your card is more important that he probably does not work. Then, try to format the card in the Palm using the information card application. With the application running, enter the Menu and select format. If you are now able to install through Hotsync with the new Palm Desktop, double-click the TCPMP files on your desktop to load into Setup.

  • Help with jQuery and product tabs content conflicts

    Hello:

    I implemented tabbed content to my product page, a Kiyuco tutorial.  Works great and really streamlines the product page, but I have problems with the display tabs in IE8 and IE9.  I find that very odd, because IE7 (the usual playah) shows the tabs like Firefox and Safari.  I'm sure there is a javascript conflict, I've solved a few others that have taken place on other pages in the site - but I don't know what the cause of the problem here.  I was wondering if there was a more well informed that I am that can point me in the right direction.  A link to a product page is here: http://childtocherish01.businesscatalyst.com/collections/piggy-banks/piggy-bank-large-lady bug

    Thanks in advance for everyone!

    Hello TiffanyP2010,

    It seems that your site has been set up to use head js (http://headjs.com/), now with jQuery UI that just added to the model that he does not know that jQuery is ready. So when you call the function tabs it will not work. It may work sometimes because jQuery was ready, but it is unclear when it will be other times, it may not work.

    Look over the head js documentation and you will see that you need to wrap your jQuery in a head.ready, as if:

    Head.Ready ("jQuery.file.js", function() {}

    {jQuery (document) .ready (function ()}

    jQuery("#tabs").tabs ();
    });

    });

    I know that's not a simple answer, but that seems to be your problem.

    Hope this helps,

  • Help with incredible registration / Product Code procedure

    I bought 13 items first packaged and by trying to find/use the process series/product code number.

    I've been to the https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial site where you are supposed to enter a redemption code that 'Help' are 24 alphanumeric characters and located on the box or sleeve.

    There are six boxes in the entrance which can only mean that 4 characters should be in each box.

    There is no code redemption on the box and the sleeve has a number that does not match the format or the number of characters specified above.

    There is a single item of on handle and box 8-digit numbers that can not be.

    Under the sleeves Figure 8 number is a code that do not meet the 24 characters or groups of 4 required model.

    The code looks exactly like this, except that I substituted XXX instead of two sets of letters below (because if it is a product code, I won't post).

    DHS/A, PRE, 13.0, MAC, GEN, XXX, LRE

    / WWF/D/XXX

    Now there is no point for me and I don't see how there is nothing I can get above that meet the entry requirements for the product to https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial code entry

    It must be the most hostile registration procedure that I've met in all my 25 years of experience with computers and software.

    firedeva

    If you bought the box of first 13 items, you can expect something like that

    1. a box rectangular thin hard cover (colorful Adobe) in which is inserted a white rectangular box.

    2 in this rectangular box white installation discs, one for Windows and one for Mac - each drive is in its own envelope.  There is probably a manual mini in this area also.

    3. make sure the white rectangular box. On the back of this box must be a label. This label must contain the serial number of the product for the two installation disks.

    xxxx - xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

    The serial number is clearly identified as serial number.

    You know very well if the seller has sold you the product with a redemption code?

    All software maintenance is in fact slow down your Mac.  The only maintenance that has need for a Mac is back up.  Remove any object to maintain, by asking directions.

    Also, your M-Audio drivers are listed as obsolete in Yosemite.  This means that any M-Audio Midi device to update driver to be useful in El Capitan.

  • Very slow Macbook Pro (2012), please help with report EtreCheck

    Hi all

    My Macbook runs very slowly, I tried a number of things suggested online but none worked. I recently went to a repair shop and they suggested it could be to do with the dataflex (not sure if this was exactly, but I remember it sounding similar.) They described as a hard drive to another internal component connection, sorry for the inaccuracy.) I have me am replaced, but this did not help either.

    I downloaded the software EtreCheck and I was wondering if someone could help me to make light of the report on possible solutions? I have the feeling that it could be the hard drive needs to be replaced, but have no evidence of that. Verification has been run for the problem of "Beachballing" and got the sub report, please let me know if more info would be helpful. I hope it's telling in a way!

    Thank you for the pointers.

    Hello mrdivorce,

    It looks like of course as evidence of a hard drive failing for me. Hard drives 2.5 "in the MacBook Pro tend to fail after 2-3 years. Judging by the date on your MacBook, I think that your time is up. Maybe try to find a different repair store. Looking for Service Center authorized Apple (https://locate.apple.com/).

    I suggest upgrading to an SSD and increasing your RAM too. Then you have the hardware to run the last OS X 10.11.

    Uninstall Avast. It's a worthless scam that don't do anything useful. The only thing it does is a lot more then what it claims, that he you will protect from.

  • Company to offer antivirus services and help with the computer's performance, it was a scam?

    I was rung to the top by a company, who said they were by Windows and it had been brought to their attention that my computer is slow.  That's why they sounded me.  They have spent a lot of time to show me the files that have been slowing down.  Their name is teche4pc.  I ended up finding them VirusControl (110 US dollars).  My computer is not better.  Have I been scammed? The product is called F-Secure.

    Hello

    BCCode: 117 is generally a problem of display driver (video) If you need to update (check the system machine
    and the sites of the manufacturer of the device. You will need to remove and reinstall your video card a PC and not
    edge. Perhaps a replacement card is necessary.

    If necessary you can perform in SafeMode with network - repeatedly F8 tap that you start.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
    each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
    version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
    video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
    cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
    This will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
    own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
    (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
    updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
    because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
    pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
    This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
    questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.

  • Help with error message: "Windows Vista Home Premium product key you typed in is invalid for activation.

    Original title: help with error message... Please...!

    I use a desktop PC of HP Pavilion a6202.uk with Windows Vista Home Premium & Microsoft Office 2003.  When I am back from vacation & turned on my PC, my password was OK, but rather to raise Windows, I received the following message: "Windows Vista Home Premium product key you typed in is invalid for activation.  He then listed the following options: "access your computer with reduced functionality (this will allow you to buy a product online key)" or "Type a different product key" or "contact HP to help solve this problem."

    I have no idea what a product key is and don't have anything either in the type comes to connect as usual.  I can't access anything to be same to reduced functionality.  I can not type in a new product key because I did not.  I can not contact HP - phone number does not... !!

    I'm quite desperate, I travel docs to print and e-mail to answer and I don't have any idea what is happening.  Please can someone help with this not very IT clued-up DTP...!

    Moved from Vista programs Forum.

    You should have a sticker with the product key on your computer, on the bottom, or under the battery cover.  I try to type this key in and see if it accepts it.  If this isn't the case, you might not have an authentic version of Windows installed.

  • Need help with coding for HTML5 with emergency Flash video

    Hello, need help with my coding in Dreamweaver CS5.5 for HTML5 with emergency Flash video. Not sure if the coding is correct. Do I need any other JavaScript etc.?

    code.jpg

    Another thing is that you don't have to include SWF as aid manual if you provide all 3 ogv, webm & mp4 video formats as one of these formats will certainly be played in any browser that is fully compatible HTML5.

    Still one thing you could do if you don't mind hosting your video on Youtube is to get an embed code for Youtube - in this way, you don't have to convert all the files. YouTube will do it for you and it will play on devices of HTML5 as well as supports Flash player of relief for devices that cannot play HTML5.
