• No video playback after the first update of Pro CC 2015

  Updated for Premiere Pro CC 2015 on a MacPro OS x 10.9.5 and now I don't get any video playback either in the top left or top right.  I get audio fine, but no video.  Just grey.

  Other threads here related choppy playback and some said that they uninstalled 2015 and returned to 2014, but I can't find a way to do it.  In the CC application all I can do is install the 2015 version.

  Someone has suggestions for each fixing whatever the problem is I cannot see the video in my video editing software or go back to the previous version which worked great until they decided to update?

  Try this first:

  Click file > Project Settings > General and change the video converter to the to the software only Mercury playback engine. Click OK, and then select Remove previews. Then check if you have a normal reading.

• [BUG] Cannot send messages on the first transformer

  Skype is not 'send' button when I have my connected keyboard and enter the key sends just the cursor to another row.

  I detach the keyboard everytime I want to send the message. Why couldn't let you the Send button where I can at least use touchscreen to send messages?

• How the first calculates several video tracks in the timeline?

  If I have 20 videos layered in the first timeline will react the same as if all these videos played simultaneously on the screen?

  Having several HD or UHD video tracks layered creates extreme shift if all videos play at the same time. So, I'm just curious as to how first handles this.

  First must only actually "play" the video that you see on the screen. The layers that are totally glazed should not be read from the hard disk, unzipped, etc. - they would be ignore. Now, if you have an image editing, as several windows video playback (Brady Bunch opener) then the computer and the first should the resources necessary to play all the videos at a time.

• video gets sent back to the main menu after the first chapter

  Last night, I burned this DVD and it was perfect - no error message to check the project.  It burned on a disc very well.  Then I went to bed happy.  I woke up and popped the DVD in a DVD player.  When I hit the play movie button, it plays a chapter only before returning to the main menu.

  So I went to the scene selection, and when I choose the 1st chapter to look at, it's going to do the same.  After the first chapter, it goes back to the main menu.

  If I choose the 2nd chapter, he continued to play through the video normally.

  It makes me carzy, so I thought that I was watching the movie in the preview.   Sound disappears and the video freezes for the first chapter.

  Edited to add: after preview freezes, and I close out of it, he says: "unspecified error of drawing."  I just made another preview, just to play the movie and the sound was there, but it froze after a little in the chapter.

  The complete project JPEG is too pixelated to really say much about it and the linked version has a header error and does not open. Can you redo this JPEG and maybe use a PS JPEG about 9 frame? It would also be useful to have a close-up view of the timeline with chapter markers.

  Now, what are the Actions of end for each of these chapters?

  For the Play of All, have you looked in a chapter Playlist? If you create one, with the chapters in any order you want, and then set end of Playlist Action chapter to return to your main Menu, "replacing" the end of chapter Actions. NOTE: I use the term 'override' as a verb and the noun "ignore."

  Regarding replacements, this sounds like there might be still a TAPI on. They can be applied in many places, and it's a bit of work to check all the buttons, chapters, timelines, etc.. They can be literally anywhere and should not be used.

  Forward the new screenshots. Might be something obvious here.

  Last question: how long is your first chapter?

• Poor video quality using windows 7 "play to" with DLNA Sony Bravia KDL-40EX700

  When I use the option "play to" in windows media player 12, everything works but the video streams on tv is of very poor quality!

  Most of the time the video is not yet play full screen. When I first set all and used television to find the video file, it played in the perfect resolution and quality, but now it does not matter if I have the video on the TV or choose play... two ways I get bad video quality.

  Are there settings for the streaming video quality in windows 7? I have the current firmware for tv update and tried on two different computers with the same bad results.

  Mr. Goetz,

  There is nothing wrong with the drivers of your graphics card. The TV is one that makes the video file not the graphics card on your PC. The reason you have a bad video quality is the limited support of the multimedia formats that is supported by your TV. Generally, Sony's Bravia TVs have a limited set of media formats supported and for this reason, most of the time that the Play and Win7 will send transcoded versions of the video on television. Usually, the way Play works is the following:

  -Play questions the TV for supported media formats

  -If the TV supports the type of media you're trying to make, the Play sends native data flow to the TV. The quality will be provided by your video file.

  -If the TV does not support the native format, the Win7 also offers versions of the same video file transcoded: MPEG-2 and WMV for versions.

  -Play preffers to make reading possible at any time so he will choose a transcoded version if the native format is not supported. DLNA mandates support for MPEG NTSC or PAL MPEG formats, so this will be the common denominator.

  I tested several Sony's Bravia televisions in the last years of the development of Play, and several times reading transcoded. I guess that this is the case for you as well. Unfortunately, nothing you can do, unless Sony decides to support your media file nativelly. To make things worse, the qulity of the transcoded version depends very much on the quality of native files (win7 transcode in a lower resolution than the native.) It will be not high-end). If the native file is HD content, the resolution of transcoded stream will be pretty good for a TV 40 ". If the stream resolution is SD or smaller than (usually flows that can be downloaded on BitTorrent), resolution transcoded will be less than that. On a big TV screen, it will be stretched and the quality will be very poor. More the native file resolution and the resolution of the TV, the bad will be your experience.

  Therefore, could you please tell me what is your multimedia file type?

• How to get rid of video quality poor/pixelated in windows 7 Professional?

  I recently installed windows 7 Professional and I'm having a good time with it, but a big problem I'm having is with video. I tried several videos (avi files mainly) through windows media, vlc, kmplayer player, but I'm getting pretty bad results of each player. I originally had windows xp, but when I installed 7, there was a noticeable difference in video quality. The difference is, when I maximize my videos, there is a minor pixelation in quality and I watch a movie in a smaller image size to get the same quality as if it was twice as big (twice as big would have better quality on windows xp/vista).

  I have a decent system
  -AMD 3500 2.2 ghz
  -2 GB of ram
  -32-bit, Windows 7 Professional
  -Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT

  I also have the codec nvidia so that shouldn't be a problem.

  Is it possible to fix this 'pixelation' or 'bad' video quality?

  We will try to watch a video after a clean boot to see if a 3rd party application or codec interferes with WMP.  Click HERE for the clean boot procedure, it is the same procedure, as it was in Vista, so do not be alarmed.  Once you have dΘmarrΘ clean, test it with WMP and let us know the result.

  I put a DVD in my computer. It plays fine in Windows Media Player. When I transfer to Windows Movie Maker Live, three things happen: 1) the thumbnails are all the same - the first image. (2) the movement is slow. I tried it accelerates, but it is simply not the movement in real time - either too slow or too fast. (3) the soundtrack plays for a fraction of a second.

  What is the problem and how to fix it?

  I converted DVD to WMV format. This fixes the movement of the image and I can hear the music (not quite synchronized), however the thumbnails are still just the first image. In addition, every single feature that I blow (editing, effects, forwards, etc.) the picture freezes and yet the soundtrack plays again.

• Fairly new laptop, terrible video quality and its delay. help please!

  I have a HP Pavillion G6, g6-22213sa computer laptop that I bought about 6 months ago, its functioning, Windows 8 and AMD Quad Core A8 - 4500M accelerated processor. 15.6 ", 1 TB harddrive, 8192 MB DDR SDRAM. the video quality on anything from youtube, personal videos etc. is terrible it's very pixelated, the sound is also slow, which means that it takes a few seconds before you can actually hear anything. Can anyone help please get everything back to normal. for necessary information, just ask you please, im not a big technical guy.

  As you mentioned that the video quality is pixelated, I you should uninstall and reinstall the sound card drivers and graphics cards and check if it makes a difference.

  -Press the Windows key and the X key, then select Device Manager.

  -Browse graphics cards, right-click on the video driver and click on uninstall.

  -Browse sound, video and game controllers, right click on the audio driver and select uninstall.

  -Restart the computer. Windows will automatically try to detect the hardware and try to install the drivers.

  If that fails, visit the computer manufacturer and download the latest video and audio drivers based on the computer model number.

• Help! Only the first part of my production of exports.

  Hello world. I must begin by saying that I am completely new to the first Pro CC 2015 have switched to Sony Vegas only a week ago.

  I have a difficulty that doesn't seem wise for one big reason. The problem is that my production lasts 5 minutes and I can see it in the preview but very late. Waiting and waiting and waiting for its encode following export command that I find myself disappointed to see that the finished video contains only the first 35 seconds or so my production of all 5 minutes. The video works great, everything in these 35 seconds is how it should be, it is perfect, except the missing 4 minutes and 30 seconds. A fat that is not sensible is because the video, I'm trying to export is just the latest version. It was previously exported twice now. All I've done since then is add additional sounds and a few titles. I made sure that the Begin/End markers to cover the entire timeline on my screen of export

  There was an error that arose on a previous export, which then had to be restarted. The error referred to in audio encoding and suggested I should switch to one pass instead of two during the encoding. I've only seen this error once and honestly do not know if it is related to this problem or not.

  Do you mean the main timeline? Forgive me, getting used to the Prime Minister. To answer your question, my best... There's no marker for the beginning or end up on the main screen. When you click export that I'm double-checking that the entire Sequence is selected as the Source and the start and end markers are in fact at the beginning and at the end. After four attempts, I had just finished with the first half minute of video rendering, however.

  I found a fix for the problem now, but still did not work what caused (to my slight annoyance).

  As an experiment, I deleted each sound track and the silent video exported now very well. To develop on this I have reinserted all the sounds, made all the sound tracks. Who has also exported very well which means that I have a video in its entirety. I fixed my own problem. I do not understand what may have caused it well.

• Imported video quality problems

  I use 6 Captivate and having problems with the video quality in the published SWF file produced. I inserted the 4 different slides synchronized MP4 videos to the different slides that are a progressive download. I publish the SWF project. The Captivate native content (quizzes and interactions) looks good, but the quality of the videos that I imported is reduced by up to 50% and is unusable. When I open the published project file and open just the MP4 videos, the quality is perfect.

  I tried the publication as HTML5, but my interactions don't work well with that - if this isn't an option. However, the video quality is perfect in HTML5.

  Does anyone know how to keep the quality of video imported into the published SWF file?

  I did everything you said I should do and I was able to get a good project. I'm on 6.0.1240. I got the Advanced Compression of verified project. (The other options I was doing already).

  One thing that I wrote for someone else who is having this problem:

  If I play the produced swf file published in google chrome, the quality is superb.

  If I play the produced swf file published in firefox, the quality is reduced by about 50% and my quiz slides will freeze and sometimes does not.

  If I play the produced swf file published in Explorer that the quality is reduced by about 50%

  HTML5 versions do not work in one of the above browsers because the interaction between the tabs and the interaction of hidden words are not compatible. The tabs will load not correctly on the screen and the wordserach omits the checkboxes on the search for a Word.
