Violation detected Driver Verifier.

So I got a screen of pilot detected Violation blue came, and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with it here. I got place 8 times so far, and each time was only by practicing a certain game. I wouldn't know that it was something the game caused, whereas it is quite addictive for me. Here are the. Want a quick answer, but I know that everyone at this time is busy.

The errors referenced DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION the nvlddmkm.sys which is the NVIDIA display driver.

You can try to update the NVIDIA display driver:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-WIN8-Win7-64bit-320.49-WHQL-driver.html

In addition, 'disable' the driver verifier - do this before updating the display driver:

Start > type verifier.exe and press 'Enter' on the keyboard > clear the existing settings > finish > click 'Yes' to the message to delete the settings and exit the program

In addition, there were two other errors.

One was a mistake DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) referring to the AiCharger.sys.

I would say to uninstall the software Asus Ai Charger.

The other mistake was a mistake with APB.exe (APB Reloaded) UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP as the process that crashed.

This error can be caused by ESET Firewall (s).

It seems to be an older version of ESET Smart Security installed which may not be fully compatible with Windows 8.

I suggest to uninstall ESET Smart Security and see if improves stability.

Consider the alternative security software such as Windows 8 (Windows Defender) integrated antivirus and firewall, or you can try the latest version of ESET Smart Security.

Also, consider to update, if possible, TeamViewer, TuneUp Utilities. PowerISO, VMWare and the driver for the game like these software keyboard all have older drivers.

I studied the messages and articles regarding the use of driver verifier.

When I run it, set up, restart, immediate BSOD but no file listed and no discharge minidump or generated memory.

F8 annoys me for a secure start to reset.

The only thing I can think to do is to select only some of the non-Microsoft drivers and keep trying to reduce it to the driver.

    Anything else I can do?

To ensure the minidumps are enabled:
Click Start, in the search box, type: sysdm.cpl, press ENTER.
(In victory, 8 you can use the 'win' windows key + "s")

On the Advanced tab, click on the Start button and recovery settings.

Make sure that automatically restart is unchecked.

Under the heading of the writing of debugging information, select partial memory (256 KB) image in the drop-down list (varies from 256kb).

Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as % systemroot%\Minidump.

    OK your way out.

Reboot if changes have been made.

If the minidumps are still not created, check these reasons as to why that may happen

For landfills to produce what follows must be correct

Paging file must be on the same drive as your operating system

The basic file size must be greater than the physical RAM installed

Windows Error Reporting (WER) system service must be set to MANUAL

Value file system run on the operating system drive

The value of options/crash recovery system "kernel memory dump".

  • Pavilion TouchSmart 23-f364: Hp Pavilion 23-f364 BIOS "finds it difficult to" hard drive Detection

I have a HP Pavilion TouchSmart f364 23 for Christmas in 2013 and in 2014, the hard drive has begun to act. I would like to turn on the computer and it does not detect the drive or does not see the files it contains. The CD drive is detected and works all the time. I've updated the BIOS, I replaced the drive with a brand new, and since the old is in an external hard drive enclosure works like new money. The computer will always have problems in windows being blockages, then crashes. I looked for the reasons of the accident and they were due to mistakes of disk access. After reboot, the drive is not detected. In Ubuntu, the drive is detected and accessible (but I can't get the windows partition to mount, with the error "Windows is put in hibernation," even with the quick start off and a full stop). The point is that Ubuntu can see and access the drive to boot from the drive itself (if possible) and a live USB. Ubuntu will crash as or experience access errors, but when restart the BIOS sees not the disc. The disc turn and accesses a little bit, but nothing happens. In addition to the exchange of discs, I also swapped sata ports on the mobo with no luck, and power connectors are different, so no swap it. I want to know now if replace HARD drive cable may solve the problem or if I need to replace the mobo or this computer is just cursed. (Father: when I asked for a desktop I do not mean all in one)

TL; DR: The Bios does not detect hard drive or detect but once at random, at random, windows crashes because of this, Ubuntu works perfectly well and has access to disk drive and boot Live, bios does not always detect drive. Tried upgrading BIOS, replacement drive and swapping mobo ports sata, no luck, CD player works great every time. You want to know if buying a new HARD drive cable works or if it is the mobo which is bad.

Also note: when I updated the BIOS it says it resets the CMOS and I repeatedly loaded by default in the BIOS settings. I have found but not yet tried the CMOS clear jumper.

It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: (updating the video/display driver and BIOS)

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - set the VIEW to hide
Microsoft drivers - update those without drain in their names (and BIOS and chipset).

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on
Driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right
Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
