    What is a Virtual Machine XP Mode?

    You have created all users, or is it the default user, called XPMuser, you log on to?  Have you tried without password?

    If you disable the integration features of parameters by means of Machines C:\Users\usernamexxxx\Virtual, highlight the file corresponding to the .vmcx XP, you will see the settings tab in the toolbar to explore above.  Here you can disable integration features.  This is done, you should be able to launch Safe Mode via pressing F8 at startup of the virtual machine and possibly access the administrator account integrated via a blank password.  Then, you could look through control panel user accounts.

  • How to reset the administrator password in my Windows XP Virtual Machine

    I just created a Windows XP virtual machine and have been using it without any problem.  Today, I started the machine and he asked an administrator password.  I believe that I have not set up one that I've never been asked before.

    How can I reset my password or I have to rebuild a new machine?

    Can I use a password reset utility?

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Kind regards

    Doug U - M

    If an empty password does not work then you probably have to rebuild the virtual machine. This time, I recommend adopt you the practice of setting up a second admin account immediately and make a note of the password. It's the same when you buy a new car: you get at least two sets of keys.

  • Keyboard virtual blackBerry 10 to enter the password of the device on Z30 sometimes shown, sometimes not

    I implemented a simple device on my Z30 password. When I unlock it after 10 minutes of waiting, it prompts you to enter the password for the device. However, sometimes it shows the keyboard on the digital screen, sometimes it displays no keyboard at all. I'm not able to determine a specific scenario. It's like randomly with distribution of 70-30%.

    In the latter case, I click in the password field to get the point and the keyboard will be displayed. Or double shot from below to display the keyboard.

    It is in any case, no biggie. However, when this happens it requires completely unnecessary move start.

    Since the upgrade to 10.3.2.2474 this clearly resolved. Virtual keyboard opens each time.

  • Virtual keyboard key is incorrectly gray (disabled) when a TextField inputMode is TextFieldInputMode.Password

    Hello

    I meet a strange behavior of the virtual keyboard the virtual keyboard to submit key incorrectly becomes gray (disabled) when the inputMode of a TextField is TextFieldInputMode.Password, here's the qml:

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    Page {
        TextField {
            inputMode: TextFieldInputMode.Password
            input {
                submitKey: SubmitKey.Go
                onSubmitted: {
                    //do something
                }
            }
        }
    }

    If I change the inputMode of a TextField is to something else (for example, TextFieldInputMode.EmailAddress), it's ok (i.e., the virtual keyboard submit key is correctly (active) white).

    Is this a bug of platform? (System Z10, 10.1.0.4181)

    Thank you

    Hi, I have tested the code on 10.1.0.4xxx below and can't reproduce what you see. Please see the attached screenshot.

  • Is any impact of a change of the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual computer?

    Hello

    I'm looking to see if there is an impact to change the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual machine?

    The software version is v6.2 build 4073.

    Thank you in advance,

    Robert

    I'll assume, you are referring to the administrator account, but it can be applied to any local account which is located on the TCS server itself.  It has no impact to change the password, unless you are using doesn't say account to connect to the server of TCS or web interface, it will not affect the application of TCS as most things such as external storage or clustering rely on domain accounts and not the local server.

  • Password is now required to access the virtual machines

    I ran Money 98 on my laptop working for the last 2 years (in fact since 1998 on other computers) and from 07/10/2014 when I try to open Money 98 Windows asks for a password. I have not configured this virtual machine, and I do not think that a password has been set up. I really need access to this program, 16 years of financial info desperately needed for the work. • I've set up the virtual machine in win 7 Ultimate and put some data. Now when I try to connect it asks password and does not accept any password.

    Default password Machine virtual XP Mode

    I've set up the virtual machine in win 7 Ultimate and put some data. Now when I try to connect it asks password and does not accept any password. Please giveme the default password

    If you're talking about XP Mode the default password is XPMUser.  In general you can not use Windows without a password in Windows Virtual PC that you can with Virtual PC 2007 and before.  XPMUser is used only with the XP Mode virtual machine.  All other virtual machines requires a user created password.  If you have changed the password in XP Mode and forgotten, then you have to start over.

    Windows Virtual PC is based on virtual server rather than VPC and all virtual machines need a password.  If necessary, uninstall the integration features, start the virtual machine and create a password for the admin user.  Restart the virtual machine, and then reinstall the integration features.  You will not be able to access a virtual machine created by the user that has no password, while the integration features are installed.  Once you have everything right, that a virtual machine will not be asked a password if you are the admin user in Windows 7.

  • whenever I have to connect to the virtual machine asks me to enter login and password I can't save the credentials

    Hi, I used Windows Virtual PC XP mode for awhile and I just do a fresh install, and I'm having a problem that I seem not to be able to solve.

    After you enable the integration features, I got to the Windows Security login screen. I typed in the login and the password, but I accidentally made a mistake and could not connect. I clicked on cancel and was then in the XP login screen, where I entered then the right login and password and it me connected to the virtual machine XP without problem.

    Now, the problem I have is every time I connect to computer virtual it asks me the login and the password on the login screen of XP and I don't have the option to connect using the login Windows Security screen, so it do not give me an option to save my password and login information. So, to make things worse is that moment every time I have to resize the virtual pc it then asks me to log in again.

    Is it possible to return me to the Windows security login screen where can I put my login instead of the XP login screen when it is not an option?

  • I have a problem with the password on the virtual machine.

    Original title: passwords & Windows 7 virtual machines

    Hello

    I am running windows 7 pro 32 bit, with a windows XP virtual to develop existing software.

    The hosts & VM connect to a file on the network server. The file server is running windows XP, the network is a simple working group. I've manually created a limited user on the file server with the same name and password as my logon to windows 7.

    Today, I changed my password to connect to windows 7, which I am not as often as the security people recommend that I do. I changed the password on the file server to synchronize and also the password on the virtual computer.

    The virtual machine is maintaining however, somewhere the old password, which crashes, and I get the logon screen. If I enter the new password it connects then. I went into the settings of the VPC and delete the credentials saved, without effect. I removed "enable on startup" of integration features, also without effect.

    So I get the password in the VPC, but then I have to enter the password to access the network share. Or I can enter the password each time I start the virtual machine. The second is less painful, but still annoying.

    Any thoughts?
