  I ordered a fax modem on a H.P. d5000t in 2008. I have not needed so far and I can't find the software. I ran Diagnostics and the modem is there and it works, but it is not in the start menu > all programs > fax and scanning. Ive looked everywhere for it and is not to be available. Support and help H.P. wants me to a complete restoration. Told them that I don't do that because I let me actually on previous computers and immediately something was wrong with them and had to be replaced.   Program Windows Fax and Scan does not come with Windows Vista Home Premium. It is only available in Windows, ultimate & enterprise business. However, you can download & install any third-party fax software & also, you should have a modem to send the fax.

  Note:  Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

• Serscan.sys missing on Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit when you try to install Office Jet Pro 8600

  Is there a place to find serscan.sys on a laptop Toshiba Satellite A305, running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit?  My Installer to connect wireless to a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 wireless all-in-one printer-scanner-copier-fax machine tells me to find this program, but I can't find it on my hard drive.  I received no installation CD of Windows Vista with this computer when I bought it new.  Any help in finiding or serscan.sys getting and get the printer installed and running is greatly appreciated.

  So initially the installation, I had no problem with my Lexmark x 5650 printer, but in the last 3-4 months, I can't scan.   When you use the Lexmark productivity Studio scan option, I get an error that says "scan failed. Try these solutions - make sure that the printer's power on and ready. -Make sure that the front usb port is not connected. -Disconnect and reconnect the usb cable. -Disconnect and reconnect the printer power cable. -Restart your computer. For any additional help, use the Lexmark service center. "but none of that actually works.

  If anyone has the answers to this madness, it would be greatly appreciated, because I can't scan and it makes my heart hurt. Thank you.

  I had the problem of the 'Application download list' with the similar X 4550 wireless printer. If you have downloaded the drivers and firmware from the website (this even if they seem to be the same versions that you already have), this procedure was the only way to get the scanner working again.

  • Find the IP address of the printer (see page 129 of the http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/5600-6600/v7677571_en.pdf manual)
  • Enter the IP address in the address bar of your browser and press enter
  • You should now have a Lexmark administration page. Click on Configuration
  • Click scan to network host management
  • Check delete all registered guests
  • Click Remove
  • Power switch and the  

  If all goes well, you should find something similar for your printer.

  Great idea to customize and securitize the Internet connection.  Use my link of D T Mobile for more security, I decided to go wireless, and so to have all greater security. It seems that no measurable loss of connection speed.

  I will try to implement the AIO as a Wi - Fi connection and hope that I am able to follow the online and other instructions.  My experience has been that it's usually me who Soundtracks, and Yes, sometimes the instructions to leave out some relevant step.

  I usually ask very detailed instructions and thanks for clarifying how to get IP address.

File not found Bluetooth software license. [2]. what this means and how do I stop this happening again?

  I had the same problem after a registry cleanup on my touchsmart iq518a, don't know why it worked, but I fixed it by clicking programs and features in the control panel and uninstall the program "HP bluetooth." Everything still works perfectly and that the annoying message is no longer happens.

  Of course. Start Control Panel > system and here you can see the basic information about your computer. It is also available as an option to upgrade Windows Vista.
  You can also install Vista Ultimate clean using the Microsoft DVD facilities. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities, you can find and download from Toshiba supports the page.

  Before you anything please create recovery DVD using "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator.
