Vista SP2 crash my phone!

I downloaded Windows Vista Service Pack 2 on my HP Pavilion dv7 and entered into a serious issue.  When I try to start my laptop, it works even if the file names on a black screen and stops at:! Oxc0190036! (mfplant.dll) when I try to boot my laptop in safemode, it freezes as well.  I went to "Repair your computer" in the menu in advance and the restoration of the System Boot Options.  When I run the restore, I get a message that the system restore is not because the file cannot be opened in transactional mode, because its identity depends on an unresolved transaction (0x80071AA7) I don't have a Vista recovery disk and want to restore to the factory setting in last resort.  Help, please?

You can try this:

Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

I have download and install vista SP2, everything goes well with the installation, no error, it ends without a problem, then it restarts my computer and after reboot, it comes up saying that windows didn't start (or your computer might not start)

I have 2 choices, start windows normally, that does nothing when I pick it up, the other option is to fix the problem, when I choose that it restore my computer to until I installed SP2, ive tried 3 times now with no luck.

also on a note related, when I try and open internet explorer 7, it crashes, it is said that she is looking for a fix for the problem and suggests so I run windows update, which is what suggested I download SP2.

I'm trying the upgrade of vista x 64 sp1 to vista sp2 x 64. When the system tries to restart, it crashes with the error "0xc0190036 517/97646 (explorer.exe). I have to hard start and do a restore.

    Hello

I use HP Pavilion DV6000 with integrated bluetooth module

also I got also an A2DP bluetooth car kit in my car I used as stereo bluetooth several times with my cell phone and other portable

but I don't have to connect it with my HP pavilion computer even if it is paired and recognized BUT received no CONNECT in the right click menu or properties

the difference of ONLY between my laptop or other computer, tried s than mine recently upgraded to the Vista SP2

tried the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970408 update, but did not help

    Need your help

    Thank you

    UPDATE!

Well, looks like I found a work around for this problem... It seems that the problem may be how some protocols are initialized.

    What has been done differently:
Firstly, I uninstalled the software of Broadcome of the control panel without removing the installed bluetooth drivers. Go into the Device Manager, I have disabled the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, and THEN proceeded to reinstall the Broadcom (6.3.0.200) software. During the installation I noticed a few differences, such as additional steps in the installation and new options being installed just to do this step.
    Stereo works! :
Work with my bluetooth device with the disabled enumerator however resulted in matching errors and the connection of my headphones to the audio gateway. Then I enabled it, then connected using the shortcut placed on my desk and instantly had stereo bluetooth.
    The solution for MY problem:
After disconnection and reconnection, it would not pair in stereo, so I worked around this by disabling the enumerator, reactivation, and then you reconnect. Stereo audio worked properly...
Hope this helps all users as well as the Microsoft team to find something to prevent users from having to implement this step.
    Thank you!
  • Could not start the desktop Vista after installing Windows Vista SP2, error: 0XC0190036.

    Original title: vista sp2 problem.

I have a laptop that I haven't used in a while.  I took on a trip and received the message that the updates are available.  One was SP2.  After the update is complete, it failed to start with a message OXC0190036.

Startup Repair said that he could not solve the problem.  Restoration of the system has not only restore - labeled SP1 and it allows you to finalize the restoration of files and stays there.  (I waited for 3 hours without change).
I have a XP install disc that I used before installing Win 7 on my desktop, but it does not give me the opportunity to do an installation.
Can enter the command prompt, I'm perplexed as to what to do.
I want to get this laptop that works so I can give to someone who needs a faster machine.
    Thank you.

    Hello

XP disk will not help you to fix Vista

As the system restore does not try a startup repair and / or a restoration of the system using a Microsoft Vista DVD

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-Windows-with-Windows-Startup-Repair/

    Table of contents

    1. Overview of Windows Vista repair options
    2. How to perform an automatic repair of Windows Vista using Startup Repair
    3. Advanced Tools Overview
    4. Conclusion

If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

Here is a link to it:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2011/Windows-Recovery-discs-updated-reinstated/

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And here are a few ways to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Error 0x8007045D when you try to install Windows Vista SP2

    Hello

Currently I have Windows Vista SP1 and want to upgrade to service pack 2. When I try to do the update of Windows, I get "error (0x8007045d) Error_IO_DEVICE. I also tried to install it in safe mode, I get the same error message. After having traveled a bit on the internet, I found that it is probably because my HDD is damaged... so I run the chkdsk program...

The chkdsk program stops at 16%... Step 4 of 5... When 85785 files off 300000something files are done... and it does nothing more. It keep running like this all night, it goes no further.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do to successfully install Windows Vista SP2?

    Thanks for your help!

OK, I started the computer with the Windows CD and I ran chkdsk /f at a command prompt.

Chkdsk /f found errors it corrects.

I ran Chkdsk/r... .he got stuck after scanning 85763 files... near the place, he would always get stuck (85785 files)... so I guess it's the same file that crashes chkdsk.

The good news: I still have a functioning computer.

The bad news is that I ran the SP2 from windows update in new safe mode and it didn't work... I'm still stuck with my problem.

I have an extra hard drive... that I ordered from Dell for my girlfriend's computer, his computer died before she could use the player, but it is larger, then the drive of your computer and it is brand new... the only downside is that the player has been implemented for the computer of my girlfriend (pilots and other things) and does not work in my computer. I guess I'll try to format that drive to make it work in my computer... it should fix this and then bad SP2 remedial power very well.

I guess I have no choice.

I suggest to remove avg (uninstall) then try sfc/scannow then chkdsk /f several times. a few times, they need more going to make things more

Microsoft security essentials is a better a v for not update couseing problems.

You can allways put avg in the back.

not having is not enouph to free space for temporary files can couse problems too.

  • I can't install Vista SP2.

original title: my PC crashed and I had to re - install Windows Vista but now I can not install Vista SP2.  I tried all of the suggestions that I could find, how to install SP2 for Vista?

As I said, I did research any possible suggestion, including stop my anti-virus program, but still not get SP2 to install for Windows Vista.

Note: Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not to uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.

    1. have you (has) uninstall the pre-installed Norton free version to test AND THEN (b) download/run the Norton removal tool [1] & restart (c) BEFORE you installed AVG Free or any other antivirus application (not to mention SP2)?

    2. when (date about) you have to install Microsoft Security Essentials (I guess) and the computer was fully patched to Windows Update at the time?

2B. was Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) offered & installed via Windows Update or you intentionally chose to install it?

3 MSE is auto-update itself about once every 24 hours or it is installed?

4 can update you MSE manually via the button of UPDATE on the MSE UPDATE tab?

  • Problem Vista SP2 with hanging from the Welcome screen

I asked recently in many Windows updates to multiple computers on our network, which has improved their Vista SP2 Office SP3 and IE 9.  However, given that I did this, new users I create in Active Directory are not able to access these computers updated.  The user connects for the first time and who is then invited to change password.  After that the user changes the password, it crashes right on the screen of welcome with the circle of rotation.  CTRL + Alt + Delete does not work anymore - a hard power off is necessary.  When the user tries to connect to that same computer, the same thing happens.  When the user tries to connect to any other computer updated, the same thing happens.  But if the user connects to an older computer not updated, then the user can connect!   This update of Windows has watered really me.  Any suggestions please?
