  Updated 701 (SR5) CCX to CCX 8.0.2 Premium HA activated. Both servers were in SERVICE. A Patch have upgraded to UCCX 8.0.2SU1. Noticed that VOIP Monitor Subsystem on both servers to list as OUT of SERVICE. Downgraded to CCX 8.0.2, always get this subsystem OUT of SERVICE.

  I suggest you to restart the two boxes using the command 'restart System utils' and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

  We use IPCC 4.0 (3) _Build080, we have a new user in the system like everyone else. When this user tries to enter a ready state in the agent's Office, he gets the following error:

  I have the same problem occasionally. I use version 3.5. (2) and the solution for me was that I have deassociated users with user rm extensions and the agent itself. Then the extension associated with my id and then logged on to office and go into the ready state without any problem on the affected expansion.

  After I did I associate the extension with the rm user and the agent itself again, and it worked every time.

  I have no idea but why this happens, but it might have something to do with replication / connectio nbetween systems of IPCC and CCM.

  1. While installation was SVC Call Server I supposed to select H.323 as Autostart CVP VB services at startup, no. Sytem restart on error display & CVP VB window on startup, or NOT?

  Because I did, but then I added call server in the Console of the operation - I did not any service at all.

  2. If the answer to the above question is that Yes, I had to select H.323 Services/Start VB window etc. during the installation options. Then what don't get me, why the VB is out of service and it is looking for a GA?

• Then 4.6 Hyperic to monitor a remote FTP service?

  Our company sometimes has problems with an FTP client.  Sometimes we cannot authenticate, and sometimes authenticate us but cannot transmit files.

  I set up an FTP service on the platform (linux, server) already allows us to FTP files to this customer.  I have configured the service with the IP address of the client's server and the name of user and password used for the test.  Availability is always 0% (or a "!") and said response time 'Metric data not available', yet it metrics records from time to time for all incoming connections, WORKBENCH and same State FIN_WAIT2 State.

  Am I headed in the right direction?  My TI colleagues want availability at least (authentication) of the system remotely and at most confirm file transfers work.  (The last part, I think to have to schedule test jobs who receive files in a test file, so this file/folder for monitoring changes.)

  Sorry, there was a misunderstanding: availability and response time are associated with the actual trial Hyperic done by connecting to the remote host.

  What about monitoring file transfers, I have not tried but I thought a script would have to FTP autour files and Hyperic should be able to control the files as they appear.  If this is the best test, then maybe I should work on this issue from this angle.

  Definitiely would be a way to do it. And if you want to monitor end-to-end, including file transfer itself, it's the way that I recommend.

• Source monitor: playing out from keyboard shortcut

  Hello everyone.

  I was wondering if anyone knew where in the contextual menu keyboard is the ' play in to Out ' for the source monitor? By default, that the key 'Q' is the point of going and the 'W' is going to point. I want to put the "E" key to play out so that I can review my range quickly I got with/out markers.

  I looked through the hotkeys widely and can't seem to find it. Is there another name for it now as in the case of the former "razor to the current-time indicator" or it is not able to be used with a keyboard shortcut?

  It is in the Application shortcuts, since it applies to the Source monitor and timeline panel program monitor. I do not think it is assigned by default; It is simply called "play out."

  If you're on CS5.5, picks up in the keyboard shortcuts dialog box.
