VPN Cisco ASA Cisco ASA firewall via DHCP.
Hi all!
Small question. I have an ASA5520 (8.2) acting as a VPN server with the correct configuration to request a DHCP on behalf of the VPN Client address. However, this ASAVPN is connected to a vpn - dmz on my other ASA5520 (8.0) is our main firewall. I can see future demand across the demilitarized zone and the ASAFIREWALL interface inside and outside. The DHCP server responds and refers to the x.x.x.0. I had not initially installing dhcp on the ASAFIREWALL relay as I had open 67 upd, thinking it would allow just back through with number. No idea how to get this working correctly?

Sorry, but the Cisco ASA firewall does not support PPTP VPN termination.
You may terminate IPSec and SSL VPN but not of type PPTP.
If you are new to the ASA, how best to configure the supported VPN types is via the VPN Wizard integrated into the application of management of ASSISTANT Deputy Ministers.

According to the ping problem, my suggestion is to check, if some type of firewall based on host computers on both sides block ICMP requests.
Anyway, you can still use the capture of packets on the inside of the interfaces of the two ASAs, to check if the ICMP traffic is to reach the ASA.
In addition, you can try to enable ICMP inspection:

With the license and the software version you have, you can only run the existing IPsec VPN client.
To run AnyConnect SSL VPN client-based, you must acquire a license AnyConnect Essentials. For your platform that would be L-ASA-AC-E -5550=. (Clientless SSL VPN would be a different reference number.)
I also suggest upgrading your system beyond 8.2 software (2) the current recommended release would be 9.0 (3). (9.1 (5) is the last on the 5550.)

I have a question about the order of operations NAT on Site to Site VPN Cisco ASA 8.2.x. I have a scenario where the internal IP address of the range 10.17.128.x are NATTED IP public 31.10.10.x. below is the config:
Tunnel normally passes traffic to dmz - 31.10.11.10, 31.10.11.11 servers.
But the servers NATTED (10.17.128.x <->31.10.10.x) does not work.

I think you could have said the original question in a way that could be missleading. In other words, if I understand now.
From what I understand now, you have the DMZ set up the server that are measured with a public IP address on the real servers. And for those that you have configured NAT0.
Then you have other servers that do not have public IP addresses themselves, but they are translated on the SAA.
If this is the case, then the next question would be. The server with the NAT should attend the L2L VPN connection with their real IP or address IP NAT.
Of course if you configure static NAT for the same servers and NAT0 the NAT0 will always win.
You have these guests who were not able to use the VPN L2L

To change the total look of the portal page the way we like it and not the Cisco default settings? For example, the RDP plugin has always display the help text on the right side, and we would like to show different text in this area. We were able to change it but could not import to the area of the asa.

GBA, we config user group: VPN users. all VPN users in this group. ACS can visit his political profile: If the user in the 'VPN users' group, access ACS.
When we connect from a VPN Client to the server, all users connect to success. When you see the parser in ACS journal, each user success connect also get

22040 wrong password or invalid shared secret

the system still works, but I don't know why, we get the error log.

I think I've narrowed the issue. When remote access VPN using RADIUS authentication we must keep in mind that authentication and authorization are included on the same package.
Depending on your configuration, the ACS is defined as a server RADIUS (Gserver Protocol radius aaa server) and becomes the VPN Tunnel authenticated and 'authorized' on this server group:
authentication-server-group LOCAL Gserver
authorization-server-group Gserver
As noted above, the RADIUS of request/response includes authentication and authorization on the same package. This seems to be a problem of incorrect configuration that we should not set up the 'permission' in the Tunnel of the group.
Please remove the authorization under the Tunnel of Group:
No authorization-server-group Gserver
Please test the connection again and check the logs of the ACS. At this point there are only sucessful newspaper reported on the side of the ACS.
Is 'Permission-server-group' LDAP permission when authenticating to a LDAP server so to retrieve the attributes of permission on the server. RAY doesn't have the command as explained above.

Multiple VPN groups on the ASA firewall
I have a remote VPN configured in my ASA firewall with a group of users configured on the external ACS VPN. The group called VPNASA to authenticate via the ACS server and the server ip pool is on the firewall of the SAA. Now, my boss asked me to set up a second VPN group called VPNSALES on the ACS server for the same remote VPN on the ASA firewall. How to configure the firewall for the ASA to accept both the Group and authenticate on the same ACS server? I've never done this before so I need help.

First I must admit that I am not very versed in Cisco equipment or in general IPSEC connections so my apologies if I'm doing something really good obviously stupid, but I checked through any kind of things that I could find on the internet on the configuration of IPSEC VPN.
The setup I have is an asa 5520 (o/s 8.2) firewall which, for now, is connected to a temporary connection beautiful style home broadband for testing purposes. The netopia router is configured to allow ipsec passthrough and redirect 62515 UDP, TCP 10000, 4500 UDP, UDP 500 ports in the asa 5520.
I'm trying to connein out of a laptop with disabled windows firewall and vpn cisco 5.0.02.0090 client version.
I ran several attempts through the ipsec configuration wizard options. most of the time that nothing comes in the newspaper to show that a connection was attempted, but there is a way I can set up product options the following on the firewall log:

Check the ISE for the VPN Cisco posture
Hello community,
first of all thank you for taking the time to read my post. I have a deployment in which requires the characteristic posture of controls for machines of VPN Cisco ISE. I know that logically once a machine on the LAN, Cisco ISE can detect and apply controls posture on clients with the Anyconnect agent but what about VPN machines? The VPN will end via a VPN concentrator, which then connects to an ASA5555X that is deployed as an IPS only. Are there clues to this?

The Cisco ASA Version 9.2.1 supports the change in RADIUS authorization (CoA) (RFC 5176). This allows for the gesticulations of users against the ISE Cisco VPN without the need of an IPN. Once a VPN user connects, the ASA redirects web traffic to the LSE, where the user is configured with a Network Admission Control (NAC) or Web Agent. The agent performs specific controls on the user's computer to determine its conformity against one together configured posture rules, such as the rules of operating system (OS) patches, AntiVirus, registry, Application, or Service.
The posture validation results are then sent to the ISE. If the machine is considered the complaint, then the ISE can send a RADIUS CoA to the ASA with the new set of authorization policies. After validation of the successful posture and CoA, the user is allowed to access internal resources.

AnyConnect VPN to ASA packages
Anyone know where I can get the packages for the Anyconnect VPN client (Windows, OSX, Linux) to install in my ASA firewall to download?
I need to upgrade the client, but I don't see on the site of Cisco are direct downloads for operating systems, not packages for the ASAs

Hi all
We are working on a new deployment of CME 9.1 for a small office. As part of this deployment, our plan was to have several remote phones connect via SSLVPN to an ASA on our network border allowing them to communicate with the router of the CME. We bought the appropriate of the VPN to ASA and licenses of paper for phones remotely.

However, the penalty, I'm having is that when I try to enter the settings for vpn-Group (page 19 of the pdf) the command is not available on my router - unrecognized command. I fear that this could mean that I'm missing a license/feature set to my router CME, is that correct? We bought a C2921CME-SRSTK9 router, but I may need the SEC/K9 license? If this is the case, can someone show me the part number or SKU, I would need to buy?
Moreover, is anyway that I could get around to adding this to the router config - perhaps change the configuration of phone XML directly?
