I'm trying to use the vRA Installation Wizard 7 and continues to stop on this control with this message: "Waiting for host Trigger Check condition" - it will stay there for hours without doing anything.  Any ideas?  I tried to add a manual entry in the hosts to the IAAS system file.  Any other ideas?

Maybe a stupid question, but you have installed on the servers IaaS management agents?

  • vRA 7 Installation Wizard Prerequisite Checker issues

Has anyone deployed successfully to the deployment of a company using the installation wizard 7 vRA?

I have deployed two boxes Server R2 2012, fully patched and put the IaaS agent on them. When I get to the prior verification screen, it is said, "certain preconditions are not met." but don't say those who are not met. I click the button 'Fix' and it still says: "certain preconditions are not met." then sits for ever, "Waiting for host to trigger a reboot".. At this point, I can go to the next screen, even if the preconditions are not met. If I go back to the prior verification page it is just empty with the previous, next and available to select Cancel.

In my case, I see the following error in the log management IaaS file ' C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\vCAC\Management ":

    [UTC:2015 - 12-23 22:05:48 local: 2015-12-23 17:05:48] "[Debug]: Thread-Id ="15"- context =" "token =" "error: a procedure imported by 'Microsoft.VisualBasic.Activities.Compiler.dll' could not be loaded. (1)

System.IO.FileLoadException: A procedure imported by 'Microsoft.VisualBasic.Activities.Compiler.dll' could not be loaded.

    File name: "Microsoft.VisualBasic.Activities.Compiler.dll."

The cause was related to two KBs:

    • KB3098779
    • KB3097997

And it is described here (ignoring the relationship to .NET 4.6):

Uninstalling these two KBs got the installation work.

  • 7 - installation wizard - vRA Validation step is suspended forever

I'm turning a CEP of vRA 7. I have deployed the device, installation of the host Windows IaaS in accordance with documented requirements. I do a minimal installation, the Installation Wizard without no problem went through all the way to the stage of 'Validation '. Once here, I click on validate and pops up the message "Validation is ongoing." However, nothing else happens. It remains at 0%, there is virtually no CPU activity or network on the device or the host IaaS. I let it sit for more than 10 hours, nothing. I tried to restart the device and the host, returned to the Validation step (progress has been made, fortunately) but still have the same problem. I have never a timeout or error messages, just, it is there and does nothing. I can click on the "previous" button, navigate backward in the wizard as usual, even change values or re - generate certificates, etc. I can't spent (or even in) Validation... Anyone else seen elsewhere, or have any suggestions? I think I might just to redeploy the device, but I don't feel confident that will make a difference at this point.

I found myself redeploy the unit without success. I tried and then run the Installation Wizard directly from the host Windows IaaS, which, for some reason, has worked. My device and host IaaS are in the same subnet with no firewall between them (Windows Firewall disabled on the host computer.) I had even not looked through the logs on the IaaS host to see if there was security policies preventing the execution tasks, but could find nothing to even indicate that everything had been tried. Don't dig into the unit logs, so I don't know what I have found it. I don't know why it did not work from another computer virtual on the same subnet, running the same operating system and browser, etc.. I would have probably tried run from another machine over early the Wizard don't seemed to work perfectly... In any case, all is well now.

  • HP installation wizard hangs in Mavericks (OS 10.9)

I need a version of the HP installation wizard that doesn't crash in Mavericks, so I can set up my printer with my new router wireless. This printer (HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809) works well with the Mavericks on my old wifi network. But my DSL provider just installed a new router, so I have a new wifi network which also works fine with everything else.

Now I need a way to set up my printer on the network, because the installation wizard hangs in the Mavericks. Is there an updated version of the installation wizard that works with the Mavericks? I looked, but can't find any info.

  • The installation wizard seems to stop

I'm trying a first installation on a relatively new platform for win7 64 bit. Something about downloads, I wonder for permission to install, to grant him. Installation Wizard opens, decompresses at 60% and disappears. Tried several times, with or without MS security essentials, also in safe mode. Identical results in all cases.

Can't identify anything in event log associated with Mozzila or Firefox (not familiar with tool). Ran AV and Malware scans. Nothing. Don't see anything in Win program removal or Revo Uninstaller to suggest partial installation.

Try running the full installation instead of the Stub Installer

    Hello

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Uninstaller or the use of Firefox and not run a third remover as part of this process, because who could permanently delete your Firefox data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device!

Please report to say if this helped you!

    Thank you.

(Just in case) Try to use the pale Moon, as it is the same as Firefox.

  • Satellite Pro A10 stops during the installation of Windows

I have a satellite Pro A10, which stops during the installation of Windows. The installation gets to the part where I need to select the HARD drive to install, then the system off just. I can restart it immediately, and the sdame happens.

If I enter the BIOS, everything is detected OK, and I've updated to the latest version (V1.4). Also when in the BIOS, the system will remain under tension for ever and a day! and no downtime. I have a couple of diagnostic CD, then run the tests is the same thing, but I ran the seagate diagnostic tool and the HDD OK passes, as does the main map, but cannot perform detailed testing that the system shuts down during the tests.

I suspect an overheating issue but would like advice.

Hmmm it s very strange. I thought that the HARD drive could malfunctions but it of very impossible if the HARD drive has passed the Seagate diagnostic test.

However, it would be very interesting to know if the installation of the OS would end with another HARD drive.
You know, it of always difficult to provide an exact solution without any diagnostic tests.

For me, it really looks like a hardware malfunction. So perhaps it would be advisable to contact the authorized Toshiba maintainer for a control of the laptop.
Guys could run tests and would situate the fault quickly.

  • Re: Satellite A300D - 14 p - XP stops in the middle of the installation

    Hello!

Why when I install Windows XP on my PC overheated and stops in the middle of the installation?

Why windows XP run so long, on the other PC as windows loads by 3 times faster!

    My PC is Satellite A300D - 14 p PSAKE8E

If your laptop gets too hot, did you clean it?
From time to time, you should clean your computer laptop or let's say the cooling fans.
You can use the jet of compressed air that could blow out the dust from the cooling fans. So I clean my laptop if it of necessary.

And what do you mean with Windows XP works on another PC 3 times faster?
Maybe the PC has a hardware configuration that is faster than the Satellite.
To improve performance, you can do many things: defragment the HARD disk, remove all unnecessary programs, clean the registry, disable some services, check automatic startup programs in msconfig and so far.
