Wacom W700 cushion

I have Wacom cushion built into my W700 and use it for education. Thus my use is limited to write on PowerPoint slides or write on slides with an interface web (hosting company presents slides). When you work with the web interface I have encountered some problems and I am looking for a solution. I suspect it is maybe the hosting application but did not have enough facts to point the finger at them.

Very often, when I place the pen on the Tablet, and I'm just trying to insert a decimal separator, it is impossible. If I use my mouse, I can easily insert the decimal point. Or if I try to draw a short line with the pen that is difficult or impossible while the mouse does not have a problem. Also, if I try to print a message with the pen very often pen features will be missing. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Congratulations! As much as I fear, everything is now resolved. Interesting problem and I'm glad it worked. Also glad to hear that you had no problems with the installation of driver.

  • W700 disable lower mouse buttons when you use the stylus / wacom (Left Handed problem)

Y at - it an easy way or function when the stylus is in contact with the cushion that disable MouseKeys? I'm left handed, so I continue to by clicking on the right button of the mouse on the palmrest. I want her to be an automatic feature when the pen touches...

Thread in good time, thank you.

I've recently updated some drivers and software and noticed the bottom buttons and track mousepad don't work anymore.  I thought that it was still one other lower Palm that I had to replace but after a restart I noticed the pad worked again until I logged in.

I spent a bit of time trying to understand why and then see this post in the morning, search in the control panel and find the option that is selected in the mouse properties.

Apparently the update of the driver selects disable as a default setting?

In any case, I can now turn or turn off quickly after adding an icon in my taskbar.

  • "Stuck" modifier keys - Wacom error, not Mac OS

There is a known issue with the current Wacom tablet driver. In my case, the modifier keys seem to be active inadvertently. (As if I wanted option, shift, or command keys). The cure is to download the PREVIOUS version of the driver Wacom, uninstall the current version and install previous. This seems to have solved my problems.

I read the forum messages from users guess that it was a problem of Apple's OS, that's why I'm posting this info here.

The driver to install is: WacomTablet_6_3_15 - 3.dmg

I was told this patch of Wacom support.

Thanks a lot for posting this!

  • Wacom-click opens the app in Finder

    Hey guys!
Then I use a small Pro Intuos 9 on my macbook pro (13 "retina with 10.11.5)

Installed the latest drivers for the wacom and still encounter some problems

While using the wacom (using also as a mouse) and tapping for example an icon on the dock - it opens as a folder in the finder (kind of like when you click on an icon with the CMD key.)

It affects also all other applications - by clicking on the links in safari, the selection of items in the Finder, etc.

It only occurs when I use the wacom, while I use the magic mouse, it works perfectly fine.

I tried re - install the drivers, bought yet a new wacom, and nothing is helping.

Someone knows how to fix this?

  • Bug using a Wacom Intuos graphics tablet with iWork?

    Hello

I use a small Wacom Intuos Pro for a long time. But since ca 2 weeks in Pages, Numbers and Keynote I can not keep the selected text by dragging the cursor over the text. Right now I have raise the pen, the text is deselected. Using the trackpad works fine. Or just the arrows + Shift.

I installed a few weeks ago, the new Numbers, Pages, and Keynote versions. I think that after that the bug occurred. But perhaps after installing a new driver from Wacom.

MacBookPro late 2007, the most recent operating system.

    Greetings,

    Claus

Check if Wacom has updated drivers tablet again after the version you have installed. Otherwise, you are using an input device with third-party drivers tablet, and it will be difficult at best in order to determine if it's an OS X, Wacom, or the problem of enforcement capability Apple. If you have MS Word, selection of pen you describe works properly it?

Are you trying to make use of Panel preference ink system Apple which is only displayed when a Tablet and stylus are detected?

More recent OS X is 10.11.5. Update to that though, not to this version, then update the Wacom software if more recent (and compatibility with 10.11 is specified). Repeat the test.

  • Incompatibility of wacom El Capitan

    Hello

I work on a macbook pro (15-inch, mid 2010) located on El capitan, with the last update (30 days ago).

I own a Tablet Intuos 5 Pro medium. He has recently stopped working. In India, I watched all of the threads for community, which asked me to uninstall / reinstall the driver, check the power supply etc.. I followed it, nothing helps. I then contacted Wacom in India, which directed me to the Asia Southeact of Wacom. They contacted me, told me the same steps and then put me in touch with the Wacom service center, which is located in another city.

The Service contacted me and gave me a very heavy estimate for 'replace' what they have diagnosed as a defective part. The estimate is almost as much as a new one.

So I bought a a new average tablet from Wacom yesterday.

It also refuses to work on my mac.

Doing some research, I found out about problems of incompatibility with El Capitan (!?)

Since then, I have tried all of these suggestions online on various community groups:

    (1) uninstall / reinstall the latest version of the driver. A tried. failed.

    (2) uninstall the driver from wacom and apps, 'repair permissions' (via the terminal) and reinstall. failed.

    (3) create a separate user on the system, install the driver it and then re - connect to the original user and this is!... failed.

    (4) install an older version (5.3.6 - 6 is the last, and I tried 5.3.0 - 3 and 5.3.5-4).) failed.

    (5) even tried the latest driver for Intuos, Wacom Europe series according to working with El capitan (WacomTablet_6.3.15 - 3). failed.

    (6) the son of Apple community suggest I remove items for the opening of my preferences system, driver uninstall, reboot, reinstall... This does not work too.

Through all these stages, it comes to mind that my original Intuos tablet is perhaps also a victim of this incompatibility! ??

Am shocked by the inability to answer of Wacom and incompetence to provide the latest drivers (latest driver is released in January 2015). Am also disappointed by El capitan for not being the powerful operating system that it was supposed to be, if it can solve this little problem.

Can someone help me out here? Or do you think I should downgrade and return to yosemite?

The tablet pen and wacom are known causes of interference.   Move them well away from your computer and try again.   With no improvement, move them temporarily out of the room and try again.   You need to establish that it is the culprit.  Once it is proven, you will need to find a way to work the problem goods because you can not blame the system for causes of interference.

  • Wacom Cintiq 13HD - "a supported Tablet not found on the system."

You just bought a 13HD Cintiq (no touching) and installed the drivers Wacom on my Macbook Air w / OS X 10.11.4. It works as a second screen, but I can't get the pen to do anything and when I look in the preferences system under the Wacom component I see nothing except a message stating "a supported tablet was not found on the system." I have installed the latest driver and two former previous drivers and restarted several times now. Any help?

That's what I see in the system Pref Pane:

  • Portege M700 Wacom does not respond after hibernation

I've been using the M700 for two months and I met a very annoying bug. It is not mentioned in this forum so far, but there are other reports on the Internet who mention this problem too. (http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/showthread.php?t=16902)

    * Question: *.

Tablet is placed in hibernation. When he wakes up, everything seems OK. When you use the stylus or the key functions, that the cursor does not move. Tablet and pen services have not crushed, but there is no link between screen/digitizer and software.

    + Technical support +.
The series/USB connector is not reset after waking or hibernation is dead the serial connection

    * I tried solutions *.
So far, I have reinstalled Vista, tried XP (and will stick to it because it's a better OS in many cases) and have reinstalled all kinds of drivers Wacom.

    * What we want *.
Wacom has also seems to be aware of the problem but says it's a matter of Toshiba. I am impressed with the construction and the quality of the M700 (it is a replacement for my robust but now almost unusable M200 and I have a M400 too, but I never liked it) and this issue is the only glitch I meet.
I would like to know if anyone else in this forum has experienced a Wacom-coma after the resumption of the hibernation or standby, and if so, if they have found a solution (apart from restarting their PC)

And I would really like a response from a representative of Toshiba review of this question.

    Hey Buddy

I m not a M700 owner and, therefore, I can not say much about this issue, but to my knowledge, there are a few different problems with Vista and hibernation mode.
For example, device high definition audio, screen WLan failed after the resumption of hibernation.
These issues were definitely Vista problems.

Installed on Portege M700 Tablet d River was developed by Wacom, I wonder why the guy States that it is a Toshiba issue?  :| (perhaps because this Toshiba laptop s ;)))

Anyway, you said that you have reinstalled the driver for the tablet of the Toshiba page and updated the Vista of the State. Check the BIOS updated maybe he could improve the functionality

If this does not work I recommend you contact the ASP to find out if there is a known issue

  • My wacom tablet utility is missing on my iMac

I have an iMac OS Yosemite running. I just bought an Intuos pro. I have currently a Wacom Graphire, but I can't seem to get rid of old Wacom drivers (so I can't install new drivers for my intuos pro.)
    I do not have a file called "Wacom tablet" in applications. I have a 'Tablet' called & when I double click on 'Remove tablet' an error message appears saying;
Cannot open the application "RemoveTablet" because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported. I know I have to get rid of old drivers graphire, but I am at a loss how to proceed? I called Wacom who sent me instructions on how to uninstall the drivers, but there is no info on what to do if you have no folder called "Wacom tablet." Help would be much appreciated! Thank you, Paula.

The problem you are experiencing is the utility of Tablet Wacom, 'Remove the Tablet', that is on your computer has been written for the PowerPC Macs that have not been done for 10 years, that's why it does not work. You need locate all the files on your iMac Wacom and remove them manually. you try to run the driver installation program Intuos and he gave you a message, you must first uninstall the old ones?
