  I have an application must periodically check the State of the instrument, and I put it in the "Timeout" vi main event. I need also call some subVis to configuration etc. Somehow when I called these Subvi, the Timeout event in my main vi did not work. I then use the ' Start Asynchronous Call "to call the subVis. Turns out it works fine with a few subvis worthless back, but not as expected with subvis 'return the required value.

  I have attached a simple test, my main vi call two dlg subvis: AboutDlg.vi and SettingsDlg.vi. In the case of delay, I just use a counter for the simulation. When you run it, you can see the meter taken into account when the AboutDlg.vi has been called, but stopped when SettingsDlg.vi is called.

  As I remember, someone suggested to use the queue to pass the return value, but I don't know how to implement here.

  Anyone have any suggestions on this subject?

  Try to play with it - I modified your code to search a Q in there.

  You want to change the bunches to data types more useful (perhaps enum and Variant, so you can ungroup variants according to the enum contribution), you can type def clusters to make it easier to maintain and you will need TO handle the situation where the called VI is left open on program close - I couldn't be bothered, as it was not your immediate deliverance)

  Hello, we use the 3.1.02026 Version as our Cisco VPN client.

  In earlier versions, we have been able to use a feature, 'Start before connection' that would enable users to access resources network before signing in the Windows operating system (Windows 7, 64-BIT). We were also able to switch between user profiles and the VPN connection would stay alive. Now, the client will be available only after the logon Windows. I want really to have these features in order to work with remote users and reduce the risk of security problems.

  It would be useful that you reported the exact output desired. Describing the output is great, especially when it is as clear as your description, but describe the results, in addition to, not instead not to display.

  I used a method to mix a part of an array, but I noticed that it does not work very well.
  When I run this method sometimes I empty array values.

  So if you try the example below and test out a few times would get you a good result but sometimes a wrong result.

  There were a few issues going on here.  The first is that you used the index end to the random number, but should be the difference between the beginning and the end.  the second is the > = start index in the loop.  give this a go.

  You can try typing the name and then hit .

  Completion of the order should provide the full name, if the file is located in the folder where you are.

  • What you have already tried to solve the problem all right, people, it's really weird.  Just surfing the net and a few page popped up a window, Windows defender, either real or double window that seemed to be some kind of virus scan running and find all kinds of infections.  Search on my drive for files of virus claimed, however, nothing found.  Zone alarm has warned that a program named av.exe was trying to access various resources, which I refused him permission to do.  I closed the browser and activate zonealarm internet lock.  Now, by clicking on any desktop icon rather began the av.exe program, same as before.  I used the Task Manager to end.  Finally, I found the file av.exe, a hidden file in the documents and settings/Peter/application data / directory and deleted.  So now, either by clicking on any application, destop, or the menu, including the Panel, appears a window wondering what program I want to use to open the file, or a warning that no file association is defined for the file.  Linking screen for the Windows Explorer file reports assoiations appropriate for all files, but does not list the exe or com all file extensions.  Attempt to add them (abandoned) presented a screen that windows already knew they were applications.  So now I'm at a loss.  This little beastie hurt not only managed to get by zone alarms various filters and screens, but itself installed and screwed with stuff.  I can't start applications normally.  To right click and use "start" from the pull down.  And some processes that are expected to be called by other programs to run into the same problem, so do not work.  I ran a system restore (had to do it from safe mode to make it work) for a few days, before this problem, but it doesn't fix it.  Nor, do one of the registry scanners I ran to try to find errors.  found a bunch, but the problem remains.
  • I'm puzzled.  What should do?   How can I reset windows to know that an exe file "opening" means to run the program?    Oh, and at this point, restart now does not start most of the things that are supposed to start on a startup, zone alarm, mouse drivers, etc..  Even the appearance of the taskbar has changed its background color blue back...

• Vista guardian virus had now "open with:" starts with any program and I am trying to use files

  This morning when go to check my email program (vitsa guardian) told me that I had to and the trogns in all directions. I ran my antivirus notron and nothing came back as being detected. The vista guardian asked me to buy antivirus software to get rid of. This program would not let me use internet explore around it and went used the version of internet explore (no add-on) and google it. Discovered it was a virus which would be removed after the theft of credit card information. I downloaded a program of Fixer who rid my computer of the guadian vista but now whenever I try to open a program or file, "open with:" appears and even after the selection of the proprer program some does not mean corupte files of other errors. Help, please!

Now, I open ALL my programs with the "Open with" menu and its really a lot of time. Also I am not able to start all of the office programs, that it says I need set associations but I checked control panel and I couldn't find that.
