WANT 4523: Re-print

I just bought the above and can not get any impression of the printer. He tells me that he gets the data from the computer and the printer indicates that it is printing, but it does not actually generate a printed version. The paper tray is full and I have tried with a cable and wireless (with the correct settings). Please help and old man before the printer goes through the window!

From your description, it seems that the printing system may be the cause. I see that there is a message indicating receipt of data, and the printer screen shows printing. Please follow the following steps and let me know the results of your efforts:

We will restore the printing system, repair disk permissions and add the printer:

Reset the printing system

  1. Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.
  2. In the hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/scanning dialog box opens.
  3. Do a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left panel and then click on reset printing system...
  4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
  5. Type the name and the correct password.
  6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows any selected printer

Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

Repair disk permissions

  1. On the Dock, click Applications, then utilities.
  2. Double-click disk utility.
  3. Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
  4. Click repair disk permissions at the bottom of the window.
  5. Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and download and install the printer HP for OS X drivers.

When you add the printer, please ensure that you use the HP driver.

  1. Select Add another printer or Scanner
  2. Select the printer that you add, and next to the 'use', you can select the printer driver

    The options that you MENTION are not integrated in the applications for printing from mobile devices (phones, tablets, android, iPads, etc.).  The phone software was not designed with these features and is a limitation of the application.

    Remember when phones/tablets could not print before ePrint and other similar services?

  • WANT 4500 general printing problem

    My desire to 4500 guard folding paper while printing, almost every page comes out with two brands creased on the top edge of the document.  It corresponds to two small white rollers inside the printer.  More or less, a person on ten pages comes out OK. Very often, the paper hangs completely and I have to open the printer to get out. In addition, it seems that the printer takes paper only when the tray is fully or nearly fully charged. I don't see what I'm doing wrong. I am quite satisfied with his printer!

    Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see that when you print using your printer 4500 want that paper when you print the creases.

    "I have included the document that a Message appears on the control panel and the all-in-one ' Out of paper ' captures no paperproblems.  Please follow the steps described in this document.  It has a section that will guide you through how to check and clean the paper feed rollers.

    I saw your post on trying to change the print settings for book on ink and wanted to tender hand. My best advice would be to check the image/link below and select the steps to "change the default for all printing print settings', allowing that each work is printed in draft mode without returning to print in 'normal' after each use. If you have already tried to do as a result, of course the printer is directly connected to socket, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. If you think there may be a hardware defect, contact HP to inquire about a replacement unit.

    I want to 7640. I love it when I never use the document on the top feeder. The other problem is that I can not create a different size on Stamps.com envelope. I had a printer Photosmart I forgot the model number? I was able to create a new envelope on this format with no. Error Message on the printer screen. I know I may have posted this here in the past

    Is there a similar to the Photosmart printer can I get in return for my desire 7640 or get an Evvy printer with out the document Feeder on top and will work with Stamps.com? It doesn't have to have the instant feature of ink. Here's the Error Message I get on the screen of the printer. (See attached Image)

    I saw your post on how your Mac running 10.10 fails to print in color to your craving 4522, and I wanted to respond with my own suggestions. As the test pages print in color, we know that the printer itself is not serious!

    Try these steps in the order of your Mac:

    1. Reset the printing system
    2. Repair disk permissions
    3. Restart the Mac.
    4. Click on this link, download and install Easy Start: HP Easy Start
    5. In addition, to download this driver: HP v3.0 for OS X printer drivers
    6. Try to print again

  • Want 5640: Error - printing queue

    My husband and I want to 5640 each. Both are connected to the network and until tonight, all two worked very well on my PC.

    To start I got the printer off-line message with mine but could still print using machine of my husband. I removed my in Device Manager but then found I couldn't add new and got the message "driver is unavailable," Although it is able to print using the machine of my husband.

    I used the HP support tool and reinstalled everything to do with my printer and it is now finally showing in device as manager being available. However, when I try to print I get a message from Windows 10 that the printer cannot print and in the queue, it shows a "print - error" message. There is no error message on the printer itself.

    The HP troubleshooter cannot find what is wrong.

    All the time I can still print using printer to my husband.

    I see that you have some problems with printing from your PC to 10 Windows to your desire 5640 e - all - in - one printer. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done.

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    3. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.
    4. On your PC to your type of search bar in printers and open devices and printers.
    5. Right-click on any icon of your printer or husband listed.
    6. Click on remove the instrument.
    7. Repeat for all other listed icons.
    8. Click Add printer, and follow the prompts to add a queue for your printer.
    9. Click Add printer, and follow the prompts to add a queue to printer of your husband.

    Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print on your printer, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

    I recently decided to upgrade my printer for a wireless printer, so I bought a HP Envy 5530 because my old hp printer lasted more than 5 years. I'm a little disappointed because I can't get my printer to print on the network. I used printing HP and doctor Scan and no luck. I tried to turn my firewall off, no luck.     Forget the CD that comes with the printer. Please download the following software and save it to your computer:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL47810/MP-115828-5/EN5530_188.exe

    (a) turn on your printer and turn on the radio (you can see the light from flashing bule),.

    (b) to ensure that your computer is connected to the wireless internet through your network,

    (c) right click on the downloaded file and select run as administrator.

    (d) follow the intructions, allow your printer to use your computer to connect to your network.

    (e) at the end, you can save your printer can create connected HP if you want (Note: you can do it later).

    Please post back the result or error.

    Please cacel the queue as follows.

    Turn the printer off.

    Then on your PC, on the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

    Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted when you turn on the printer.

    When I run printer Assistant, he goes online to HP e-Print. I wanted something to scan, previously I would choose in the menu.     I don't know about you; Looks like the shortcuts on the Printer Wizard pulls the wrong executable or the line that prevents the Internet pop - up execution is wrong or missing from the command line in the shortcut.  Whatever it is, it means that the printer in the wizard's... messed up.

    You might be able to circumvent the mess by removing the program - and wrong shortcut - and then reinstalling the whole software of full functionality.

    ======================================================================

    • Stop programs: games, messaging, browsers...
    • Mix this shortcut to the Recycle Bin
    • Create a Restore Point:

    Restore Point XP  OR create a restore - Win7 Point OR create a restore point Win8

     

     

    Control Panel > set display icon > programs and features >

    Scroll down, find the printer program > click with the right button on the program > Uninstall

     

    Repeat these steps for each occurrence of the name of the printer until none of the list.

    Restart / reboot the computer and log in

    Install the full software features:

    Install complete features - Officejet 4500 software
