• want to 7640: printing on envelopes

  I want to 7640. I love it when I never use the document on the top feeder. The other problem is that I can not create a different size on Stamps.com envelope. I had a printer Photosmart I forgot the model number? I was able to create a new envelope on this format with no. Error Message on the printer screen. I know I may have posted this here in the past

  Is there a similar to the Photosmart printer can I get in return for my desire 7640 or get an Evvy printer with out the document Feeder on top and will work with Stamps.com? It doesn't have to have the instant feature of ink. Here's the Error Message I get on the screen of the printer. (See attached Image)

• Want 7640: Scan to email does not work well

  I saw problem when you use the e-mail scanning function.

  When I try to scan to e-mail when fewer pages of text, example 4 or 5 pages, it works well and I am able to receive documents related to my email.

  However, when I try to analyze email when several pages, the example pages 30. I can receive email but no attachment document, I tried to use multiple accounts e-mail, such as gmail, hotmail, etc., all emails have the problem.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I understand that you have some problems with the scan to E-mail on your 7640 e want - all - in - one printer. I can help you with that.

  What is happening is that your biggest scans exceeds the size of the limit analysis server. If I remember correctly the limit is 10 MB. If you want to send larger files, you will need to save the analysis on a computer and then send it to the receiver.

• Want 7640: HP Envy 7640 Windows 10 touble connection

  I want to 7640 jet ink printer connected wireless to my network.

  I have no problem printing and connecting with my macbook air & iphone 6.

  My windows laptop 10 However struggling to connect to the printer, and when he finally when you click on 'print' the program (e.g. MS Word) hangs (not responding) and I have to close the program without printing

  I updated the drivers of latesst on the laptop and run printing & scanning HP doctor and all green ticks, including being able to run the test print page of my computer windows laptop.

  I see that you have problems when printing from your computer on Windows 10 to your wireless connected e HP ENVY 7640 printer all-in-one. I would like to help you to solve this problem today!

  Let's try the following steps:

  Step 1: Remove the driver:

  1. click on the Start button

  

  2. type programs and features. If a search does not start automatically, you will need to type programs and features in the area of "Ask Me anything".

  3. click on programs and features to launch the window.

  4. in programs and features, will populate a list of the programs installed on your computer. Please scroll down and find your HP Envy. If you see your HP Envy in the list, click it and choose Uninstall.

  5 follow the prompts on the screen to complete the uninstallation. Once the uninstall is complete successfully please close programs and features.

  6. then, click on the menu start of new

  7. this time type devices

  8 click on devices and printers to launch the window.

  

  9. in devices and printers are looking for your HP Envy. If you see if if please right click above and choose 'Remove' or 'Remove'.

  10. Once your HP Envy is no longer showing in devices and printers please click on any device in the list of Printers once just to highlight. Click the print server properties on top

  

  11. click on the drivers tab

  12. search for your driver HP Envy . If the list, please click it and choose delete

  13. Select delete the driver only

  14. Select OK

  15. click apply and then OK in the print server properties window.

  16. close devices and printers. Please proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Remove temporary files:

  1. click on the Start menu

  2. type run. Click on Run to launch the run dialogue box.

  

  3. tap folder in the run box, and then click OK

  

  4. when the Temp folder, open select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.

  5. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.

  6. close the Temp folder when it is empty

  7. right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin. Please proceed to the next step.

  Step 3: Install the device:

  1. Please click here to download and install the package to the full functionality of the software and the driver for your printer
  2. Once the download is complete, follow the prompts on the screen to install your printer

  Once installation completed test print.

  I use this printer for the 1st time. I think I have all the software installed correctly. However, it won't let me print and keep trying to fax. Help, please.

  I understand that you use a 7640 ENVY of HP e-all-in-one with a Windows 10 computer and printer whenever you try to print it trying to send a fax you. I would like to help with that.

  It sounds a bit like the "Fax - HP ENVY 7640" is selected or set as the default printer instead of just the "HP ENVY 7640.

  After clicking on file > print to open the print dialog box make sure that the "HP ENVY 7640" is selected. If the "Fax - HP ENVY 7640" is selected, check if the "HP ENVY 7640" is available. If this is the case, right click and you should be able to set it as the default printer and select it.

  If the "HP ENVY 7640' is not available in the print dialog box, you can also go to file devices and printers from the Windows Control Panel and set it as the default, it.

  If it only shows the "Fax - HP ENVY 7640" in the devices folder and printers, you should be able to right click on the printer icon and go to "Fax - HP ENVY 7640" for the "HP ENVY 7640".

  On Win.8.1, it's as simple as:
  Right-click in the taskbar-->
  -> Properties
  -> The taskbar buttons: never combine.

• Want 7645: Widget want 7640

  Is there a widget dashboard for this printer that I missed? I tried reinstalling the software but still not to see an option for a widget. Can anyone help?

  I understand that you have installed the software and drivers for a HP ENVY 7645 e-all-in-one printer on your Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and ask yourself if there's a widget available to her. I would like to help.

  If the widget for the printer was available it would have been an option to install during the installation of the printer software. If there is no option to install it may not be a widget available for this printer. The widget comes with printing software older would not work with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and may have not been prosecuted.

  If you want to try you could uninstall the printer software by following this document of support - Uninstall HP Printer (Mac) software

  Then follow this document by downloading and installing the printer software - download and install the HP printer software and drivers (OS X). Shows an option to install the widget, it could also be available with the offer to install the addidtional software.

  You can also consult the HP folder in the Applications folder on the Mac. If the HP Widget is shown here, you can create a shortcut for this. If the Widget from HP is not listed, the widget is not available.

  If you don't get an option to install it when you perform the installation and there is no one in the HP folder in Applications, it is not available.

  It's disgusting.

  1. After buying a new HP ENVY 7640 and following the instructions, I tried the automatic download of the software.

  I see you are trying to scan from your craving 7640 directly into Evernote on your PC. A program does not usually analyse in another program. Your best option would be to save documents to your computer using a program such as HP Scan and then open using Evernote.

• Want 7640: Cannot send a scanned on Envy 7640 All In One document

  Until a few days ago I could send documents scanned from my desire to 7640.  All of a sudden the printer will not send.  I tried several e-mail addresses.  I have run the wireless network Test and everything is OK.  All the 'connectivity settings' are very good.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software.  I am able to send the scanned to my MacBookPro.  Anyone has any ideas how to fix?

• Want 7640: 7640 Envy will not print black

  OK, I've seen similar problems on the forum, but no answer doesn't solve my problem. The printer will copy in black, print a test page started from the printer, but will not print anything in black from the computer. The test of the generated printer prints black and all colors very well, but a request of the computer results in a blank page. Remove the black cartridge to print in black through the color cartridge.

  Any thoughts?

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing problems with your HP Envy 7640. You cannot print in black ink when printing from your computer running Windows 8 operating system.

  You are able to make black copies and test pages have black ink on them. This is called a composite black, so he draws from all cartridges to produce a black as text.

  I would like you to start troubleshooting here: color or black ink not print
