• iPhone not charging when connected to the USB power adapter

  Hello. I have a 5 s iPhone that I bought used a few months ago. It works very well.

  Normally I charge it by connecting it to my Mac via a USB cable. Last night, I tried to recharge by connecting Apple USB power (also called a power outlet) adapter, which plugs into the wall, supplied with the phone. (Here's a link to the adapter if you are not sure what I'm talking about:.) When I connect the iPhone to the power adapter, I saw that the phone is charging - there was the small icon representing a lightning bolt near the battery of the iPhone.

  However, when I woke up in the morning, the iPhone has been charged only 47%. I don't remember what the percentage was when I plugged into the power supply last night, but I don't think that the phone at that time was much less.

  So I wonder: nobody knows what went wrong? Is there a way to make sure that the phone is loaded with the adapter?

  If there is a symbol of bolt of lightning next to the battery icon, then the phone should be in charge.  If it is charging a single source, but not another, then the problem is with the unpaid source.  Try another adapter to confirm.

  It is very good.  I use my indiscrimantly brick power 12w with my iPad 2 Air and big-screen iPad Pro.  Output one is always in standard USB 5v and the iPad itself will regulate the current in the charging system.  http://www.Apple.com/power-adapters/ the only difference is 2. 1 out of note on the 2 and 10w. 4 a rating on the 12w, but the device regulates what current is used for billing.

  This combination of connector and charger are just for the larger model Pro iPad only.

  I would NOT risk it with any other model of iPad. May cause excessive overheating or possibly other potential damage which will cancel any warranty AppleCare that you left, if any.

• USB - C adapter AV digital Apple Multiport is directional

  I just bought a new 12 '' MacBook and also USB - C Digital AV Multipart adapter Apple.  The first time I plugged it to the adapter, I received a message on the screen telling me there was an update for the card and I wanted to install it.  I ran the installation twice routine and it does not update the map either time. I tried to think of what could be wrong - and then I unplugged the plug unmarked c - USB, handed over the card and run the Setup routine.  This time the routine made to upgrade the card.

  So, it turns out that the male connector USB - C, which, as the charger cable is not marked on each side, is actually directional!  This makes me wonder if the USB - C Apple USB - C plug to the USB adapter is also directional?  It also makes me wonder what could go wrong, for example, corruption of data, if I use or either of these adapters is connected 'the wrong way' to save my new MacBook on an external USB drive.

  Everyone is aware of this direction of plug USB - C, and you know all the problems that can occur if the cards are connected backwards?

  Apple support told me that the adapter is NOT directional and it has just been a coincidence their adapter update routine does not work properly the first two times and then work properly when I handed the card and plugged in the other direction.

  Given that I've now updated my adapter version 1.56 version 2.33 has no way for me to try to re-run the routine with the adapter plugged in both directions.  It would be great if someone could check on this and let me know what you experience.

  It may work but it will load very slowly. IPad 4 provided with a 12-Watt charger.

  I love the Apple Magic Keyboard to be very light (I want it with me everywhere). I also like that I can choose the layout of the keyboard I want (Canadian multilingual), which is not available on any keyboard for any brand, with the exception of Apple iPad (and I did a ton of research). I have problems with the old model of keyboard Apple Wireless because of the Bluetooth connection: I often have trouble connecting. I want a reliable keyboard. I don't like having to plug the keyboard on the iPad, and I think that a wired keyboard can more reliable and safer than a wireless keyboard. And a wired keyboard never had battery problems.

  I read that the Apple Magic Keyboard can work wired with a Mac without bluetooth. And I read that some USB keyboards work with lightning to the USB camera adapter. There are several keyboards with a cable (Belkin or Logitech) lightning, but none with the available Canadian multilingual.

  So, if I buy a magical keyboard Apple and a Flash to the USB adapter of the camera, according to my needs, I'll be satisfied or I'm going to be disappointed?

  A better solution would be to have a male-male cable lightning between the keyboard and the iPad, but I don't find any of these products anywhere.

• Iconia W4-820 will not charge with the power adapter USB Std

  Bought my W4 Iconia four weeks ago, a demonstration model, the last of them. It was packed in the box with a micro USB x adapter USB OTG cable and a power adapter. Back at home I discovered that the power adapter has been to Asus, possibly mixed in the shop. The prospective buyer of the Asus Tablet demo likely will get the Acer adapter. Adapter Asus with micro USB male connector works fine; specs are 5.2V - 1.35 amps; seems to be a STD USB adapter. The Asus adapter has a connector to USB female port to connect to a USB x microphone cable to USB adapter (with cable power adapter came in the box). Bought a 2nd power with USB 2 socket adapter to connect my W4 Iconia and my Garmin Zumo390 browser to an adapter. Specs are 5V - 3.5 amps.
  The Zumo works very well with the new card, but does not work my W4. Charge light stays off. USB ports switched to he Zumo and the Iconia W4, but same result. Zumo fresh, but W4 not. Borrowed another power adapter USB, 5V - 2 mines anti-personnel and new Zumo accusations, but the W4 still does not work. Also tried different USB adapter cables, but the same thing; Zumo invoice, W4 does not work.
  How is that possible? I can't tell the difference of 0.2 V between the Asus adapter and a USB adaptor STD would make the difference. But maybe I'm wrong. Wanted for adapters for the W4 Iconia and found several, but all the 5V as expected.
  Can anyone help.
  Will go to the shop again next week, but if I need an adapter V 5.2 I should order with Acer. 5.2 V adapters do exist not (readibly).

  Resolved issues. A dark and humid Sunday afternoon back to the store with the Tablet and all the bells and whistles. Changed the card Asus for the original Acer 5V - 2Amps (10W). Took the time to find the Acer adapter in the store. Demonstrated the adapter 2nd with 2 output USB ports and it wouldn't work with the Tablet W4. Tried another and found to be ok. 2 USB ports have a different power, a port for a smartphone and the other port is one tablet. Total power rating of the adapter is 17.5W (5V - 3.5Amps); some 2.5 and 1Amps. A happy man is back home again.

  I just bought a replacement to my 2009 Enterprise edition ReadyNas Pro success. I have contributed the most to the RAM and upgraded the processor in the old horse in 2009 and it has been amazing ever since, but recently the lower power supply fan seized completely it is time to retire the old box and upgrade!

  So, I bought a 626 X last week and it's currently sitting in my living room. I'm waiting for an update of backup on USB to finish at the old box, then I'll change the disks of 6x2tb of place in the new unit and restore the backup.

  Unpacking of the new kit, I found a USB bluetooth adapter that is stuck inside the box. Around the navigation, I found mention of a 'insight' phone application that uses bluetooth. I can't seem to find it either in the app store of apple or android and I saw other a designate as beta.

  Anyone has any info on this app or what can I do with the bluetooth dongle?

I bought some 60 W MagSafe 2 Power adapter MD565CH/A, 85 W MagSafe 2 Power adapter MD506CH/A & 45 W MagSafe 2 Power adapter MD592CH/A but the serial number in each category is same for example there are 10 units for 60 W & all have the same serial number. I have a doubt, be they authentic shape Apple or not. Kindly help.
