  • Microsoft Lifecam Cinema works well with windows live messenger.

I just bought a Microsoft Lifecam Cinema, connected with my PC and installed the software 3.6. What I noticed that the quality fo the vedio going well under the lifecam software or to preview audio/vedio setting of the windows live messenger. However, the vedio quality is pretty poor, when I compose a vedio with other people using windows live messenger.

I don't know if this is related to the operating systems or not. My operating system is XP Professional, the other part is windows 7. the version of my windows live messenger is current.

    Any advice?

    Hi IanZ11,

The LifeCam software requires a card video and monitor that can run a resolution of at least 800 x 600 high color. Set the resolution of Windows display on 800 x 600 high color and then test the software.

Try the steps listed in the article below and check if that helps you.

  • MICROSOFT LIFE CAM MODEL 1393 fails to load at startup.

My Microsoft Life Cam model 1393 does not work properly when booting, i.e. does not open. The only work around I have found is to unplug and re-plug the USB cable whenever I want to use it... fate of as pulling the choke on an old Chevrolet each time that you start it. Once I did the camera performs superbly in all areas, both audio and video. It works perfectly in HD with Messenger, Skype and Google. Once I disconnected and reconnected, I can turn off the unit and open it up without any problems. I am using a PC desktop configuration as follows:

    • Processor Intel Core 2 CPU * email address is removed for life private ***@2.93Ghz RAM 4 GB
    • O/s = Windows7 64-bit
    • Drivers camera = Version 3.20.240.0 = current so-called
    • Device Manager confirms that it works correctly
    • All the USB ports on the PC work. I tried at various ports
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the unit unsuccessfully.
    • Device is not blocked by the firewall.

Any ideas will be appreciated.  Thank you... LO

  • Download software webcam microsoft on the internet

I just bought a webcam and because of my cd drive rom does not, I can not install the software, so I was wondering if I can download it on the internet.

You should be able to find everything you need for the software and drivers on this page,

  • Webcam Microsoft 2.0 built in not found.

I have a Gateway T 6836 with webcam installed, but now can't find the toolbar or use. I suspect that it's deleted, but present on the computer system drop-down Imaging (MS 2.0). I'm looking for and can't find it in the programs. Is it possible to download again to use it. I would use the construction in camera.
I have Vista and 64 bit OS.
    Thank you very much!

    Hello

You will probably need to reload the drivers of the device and any camera control software.

    Login as an administrator.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers who are often older than the
