What device OS target?

I have an app that I'm building in JDE 4.3 and JDE 4.7 for the storm.  Recently I came across a customer who was using a new Blackberry which was running the OS 4.22 but can be upgraded to 4.5.  (Blackberry World Edition).

My intention is to support BlackBerry D 2 pointer, not the D 1 hand wheel.  What are your best practices?  How many different versions that you put in the App World store?

I currently have two of them, because I want to manage the keys on the screen on the storm, but that she must be running on the most popular models?

What operating systems do you support?

Thank you

Gerry

We use 4.2.1 as our generation the lowest for all products. It is out of respect for the installed base, not so ship.

There isn't a heck of a lot of features in 4.3 that are not in 4.2.1 so we do not feel as if we are losing anything.

What devices transmit Frame Relay and how Frame Relay link your computer to the internet provider server?

OT: What devices transmit Frame Relay and how Frame Relay link your computer to the internet provider server?

    Hello

Frame Relay is a standardized wide area network technology that specifies layers linking physical and logical channels of digital communications using a methodology of packet switching. Originally designed for transport in Integrated Services (ISDN) digital network infrastructure, it can be used today in the context of many other network interfaces.

Network providers commonly implement Frame Relay for voice (see) and data as encapsulation technique, used between local area networks (LAN) over a wide area network (WAN). Each end-user gets a private line (or leased line) to a frame relay node. The Frame Relay network handles the transmission on a frequently changing path transparent to all end-users.

  • What device file, I have to take for creation of RDM

    Hello

I'm building a connection with a storage device iSCSI. It is awarded by volume of 5 GB. Now I will create a RDM disk for a virtual machine of the CLI, any virtual or physical. Now here's my order.

vmkfstools - r, volume, devices, disks.

Now, I'm confused in the subfolder "disks", because there are 2 similar files, but I didn't know which file is the target device file.

After experiments, it seems that the file without ": 1" can be created for RDM made no mistake when creating.

If the first is a device file, what of the second file (with ": 1")? What is the purpose of this file? did the partition of this volume? But I didn't do any operation on the volume partition.

How can I know the actual device files if there are a lot of similar files ": 1,: 2,...,: x"?

    Thanks for the advice.

  • What device drivers OR are required to use the configurator with CompactRIO Profibus Master-Slave device?

I'm trying to deploy the software driver for a portable production that will allow technicians to download configurations of profibus for CompactRIO profibus DP master-slave cards.  I know I need support VISA and MAX in order to communicate with the device when it is in Slot 1.

I have a Windows XP computer I've used in the past for this and a 7 32-bit Windows development machine that can do as well.  I guess I would need OR-Rio installed and more MAX and VISA, but I run in RIO the right software to install on this machine.  Until I dig a hole more far than necessary can someone point me in the right direction of what is needed to install?

My development platform is LabVIEW 2010 with SP1.  The development and the production laptop computer work all the two 32-bit Windows 7.  The development machine has the following (and other) software:

LabVIEW 2010 (RT, FPGA modules) SP1

    MAX 5.3.3

    NI-VISA 5.2

    NOR-RIO 3.6

We use Comsoft Configurator II 1.2.37

    All reviews are much appreciated!

    Matt,

I understand the suggestion about Profibus shake appeal reviewer, but I never mentioned the module Profibus - only the NI Compact RIO driver software.

    Ryan,

I checked that the key and it is present and correct.  Later during some additional tests, I'm done with several other installers throw similar messages.  I've seen CVIRTEDIR and MAXAFWDIR as well.

I thought at this stage there was another really obscure registry entry who standing things upwards, so I tried to install it (s) even on another unit of the same configuration management.  Installed LabVIEW Runtime Engine 2010 SP1f5, NI-VISA 5.2 (included OR MAX 5.3) and NOR-RIO 3.6.1 and everything works well for use with Configurator II Version 1.2 (September 2011 version 1.09 interface Comsoft TCP sockets, includes LabVIEW 8.6 run time engine).

In the past I could have resorted to the use of MSI-Blast to clean all the related registry NOR entered, but I couldn't get my hands on a copy and uninstall NOR has not removed the remains (it seems).

    Hello

    1. What is the full error message?

WUDFRd.sys is a Universal Disk Format (UDF) file system driver that Windows uses to read CD/DVDs in the UDF format.

Multi-vendor AMD driver Miniport is a type of device / integrated module is an AMD processor-based motherboard or video card AMD (ATi).

Could someone please point me to a FAQ/Manual explain how to do this?

  • What device is my node connected to (CLI)?

I am currently engaged in trying to find what my current node device is connected to and which interface of this device, I am connected to know

-I know not how to telnet (using putty)

-I can prompt CMD and ipconfig/all to get my information from devices (and default gateway)

    -I understand ping/apr/cdp neighbors

However, using these tools, I can't quite seem to put togeather how to find the next immediate device and the port I am connected to without that direct switch IP address on site.

Make sure that the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) is enabled globally on the switch (run cdp) and on each port (cdp enable). These are the default settings, but may have been disabled for security reasons. Launch Wireshark, filter by cdp packet type and move from one port to the other. Give CDP packets you change your name, IP, IOS version management, and what port you are connected to (among others).

  • How do I know what device BB10 application runs on?

With the proliferation of new devices BB10, all with different physical characteristics, certainly there must be an easy way to determine what type of physical device, an application is running, at run time. Shattered if I can find it, however, and no amout of search in the forum messages or SDK docs seems to give me a clue.

Is someone can you please tell me how you do that, QML or C++.

HardwareInfo class you will get this information.  Here is an example and you will see.

    bb::device::HardwareInfo* hw = new bb::device::HardwareInfo(this);

    qDebug() << "Model Name: " << hw->modelName();
    qDebug() << "Model Number ID: " << hw->modelNumber();

    Print them out:

    Model Name: "Z30"
    Model Number ID: "STA100-1"

  • Invoke the card works when debugging test but not what device installed

I sign up a page of my application to be a target for the menu qml share. I have it configured in the configuration xml file.

Then in the RPC code I have it listen for the call and if it is launch it goes to main.qml and if it is the card call the latter goes to the cardinvoke.qml. Problem is when I run test in Mometics it works fine... the map appears as it is said to. But when I build a release version bar and then transfer to my equipment (after removing the debug version and restart) is instead opening my main.qml when it is called by the menu share. Any ideas why this change? I change all whatesoever of code between the test debug and upload on my device with a Release version. My code is quite similar to the example of invoketarget.

I've done a 'clean' on the subject project and then exported a release and now it works.
