  • What format or the codec?

I took a video Hi8 and he engraved on a DVD using a recorder DVD Panasonic - which is used to play DVDs on a TV.  I got the GAME on the video tape and record on the DVD recorder.  Now, I have a DVD with the content about it.  He played back WELL on the DVD player and through windows media player.  When I try to 'Get media' with 10 items, I get nothing. The DVD shows 6 scenes with a ' Hourglass ' for each of them and the end of the files with ".» OVI»  When I hit 'get media' at the bottom right, it crashes just straight up.

I tried this on both of my computers with the same results.

I have to receive a specific codec or change the format of the dvd before trying to add items?

FYI, I got NO problem download from any other DVD of new video cameras with 10 items.

    Any ideas?

    Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, most of the DVR devices do not create 100% compatible DVD disks and especially the first VOB, because they use non-standard nagivation and a basic menu system. This gives the NLE (of Non-linear editing) programs, such as the problems of pre. See this ARTICLE for more details, as well as advice on the extraction of these non-standard VOB.

This most likely is not a CODEC problem, like PrE install CODEC MainConcept MPEG-2 from Adobe, which is the standard for DVD-video/VOB.

    Good luck

PS - things would be best and especially quality wise, if you were to Capture your Hi8 tapes. This ARTICLE goes into detail.

    _

What I would say as to how it compares to the reliability of WordPress and the safety factors and updates?

Made with HTML, CSS and Javascript.

As for Wordpress, you can't really compare. They are two different things.

WordPress is a content management platform, while Muse is a web design tool. Sites of Muse never, therefore, an "update" unless you want to change the content, and there is no problem of security with a Muse site because there is no backend for users.

  • Then open the DVD Player menu html?

The problem of creation of DVD endangered programs can be resolved if a DVD drive only opens a page of html on a DVD index.
Does anyone know if DVD players go in this direction?

General answer No. DVD players are built according to the specification of play of DVD discs. That said, one of my Blu - Ray players built the Internet. But some medical devices (including many HD televisions), limited web functionality. They do not, for example, to have a sufficient version of flash player to play most of the pages that use this format.

Just put h.264 on a USB key. Plug it into your TV. find the USB and it gives you a "menu" with all the videos.

I wonder what will be the eventual model, but the limited format of the DVD is not it.

  • What kind of cd/dvd is the best for my video Windows Movie Maker filled and how can I burn it?

OK... I've published my Movie Maker presentation.  It will be presented via a laptop computer and projected.  First of all, what kind of cd/dvd I need?  I know that this information is listed under the HELP section of the Movie Maker program, but what do you propose to help?  AND THEN... How can I do to burn video on cd?  I got to the question re: given dvd vs dvd-video and was confused (sorry... it doesn't take much!).  In my mind, it's a video, but the explanation stated that in this format must then be read via a dvd player.  Finally it can be read that way and it would be nice to have this option, but my goal is now to have played through a computer laptop and projected.  I tried to save it as a video dvd last night, but after almost two hours of "transformation" (my video completed is approximately 3-1/2 minutes), I eventually escape and stop.  Can you guide me through this in simple terms?  Thank you!

DVD-R Virgin should work for you, and you can
burn the video DVD in Windows DVD Maker.

    ==========================================
FWIW... Windows Movie Maker 2.6 is not an update... it's a disassembled
version for systems that will not run Vista Movie Maker 6.

The new version... would be Windows Live Movie Maker. It is quite
different from version 6. If you decide to try it... plan on creating
a new project because your version 6 files probably will not
    be compatible.

    Windows Live Movie Maker
    http://explore.live.com/Windows-Live-Movie-Maker
(There are other applications included in the download...
Uncheck the ones you don't want)

As for the error... I wonder if you may have a compatibility issue
    with your source files.

Several formats are apparently compatible with Movie Maker but the
    more reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Music - wma, wav, wmv

Have you tried editing (save) your project in the WMV movie
format and then importing the video file in Windows DVD WMV
    Maker?

It is also possible that your project is too large or complex.
