  I created this VI and several others like it, a few months ago, but I forgot some of what I have at the time.  I believe that this VI should measure period, using the counter on the chassis of the acquisition of data.  Can someone tell me the units of the measurement period?  I think it's seconds, but I am trying to find a way to understand this!  The period values are generated by the DAQmx READ function in the WHILE loop.  What units that work out in the table?  What are the units of the elements of the array, essentially?  See the attached VI.

  In addition, how do you know?  I opened the DETAILED HELP for the DAQmx Read (minimum 1 D NSamp DBL) shows the VI but, I can't find anything on the units of data coming out of the Terminal marked data with the orange wire, which is actually an array of periods, and we take the average of the most recent measures period 15 or more.

  I had a suggestion months ago for a line OR manual containing a description of the measures of buffering EdgeCounting, but when I went to find it, the link had been changed by NEITHER, so I find that manual, but I think the answer is probably there because I remember this manual is very helpful when I've done it before.

  When you create a virtual channel, you must specify the units of the task of counter uses.  There are several options that are listed in help here:

  I'm not on a computer with LabVIEW now, but I think the default should be ticks, which is the number of ticks the time base of your device.  You can find this information in your hardware specifications.

  If you pass a numeric value, or a digital picture, the units are the elements of the array (0, 1, 2,...) and whatever that means for you.  If you pass in a waveform, then it will be seconds, or whatever the dT of the wave.

  When you move the pagefile to another PHYSICAL disk, you should always leave a little on C, perhaps 500 MB, for things like memory dump files. Next, you define a "system managed" pagefile on the other disk.

  It never makes sense to totally eliminate the swap file and don't forget that the swap file is not a Microsoft invention designed to shoot to the top of the hard drive space. OS UNIX, Linux and Mac too, independently use the totals of RAM...

  You mean v$ sort_segment, no v$ sort_usage. The size of the measure is levied on one size of storage space, in the blocks.

  Speakers are a very personal choice. Better would be those that you love the most. Which may be different from someone else.

  For all of these measures, you probably better off using an NI WSN-3226 if you want to measure all parameters in one place. You can use a shunt resistor and apply the Ohm's law to calculate the measure 4-20mA.

  Although we still don't have a definitive answer to the "what is...". ' question, the problem that you described, Cyrus, is very similar to what I experienced market with the Vista computer, I use now, since I got it, in fact.  In other words, a signal Wi - Fi can be used by everyone in the House solid, but every now and then I am unable to connect with this machine.  A router reset always restores the feature, and I've found over the years that the router has something to do with her, a daily loss of service with a couple of marks and perhaps a month going with the other (the one I use now).  But the problem is always specific to that computer.

• What is the best way to get wireless on the Satellite 2410-504?

  I hope someone can help... I have a Satellite 2410-504 which is almost 4 years old pretty good spec for the moment. I thought it had wireless built in... There on / off switch and seeing, but I can't find it in the Device Manager... by removing undercover for the wireless, it is empty... I bought a Belkin cable NTL cable router... what would be the best option to make it wireless or is it already... someone could advise.

  As far as I know that the wireless card is optional on this unit. This means that you can upgrade your laptop computer with the Mini-PCI Wireless card that you can put in the slot wireless.

  You can use these maps:

• E3200 needs reboot once a day - time for the client lease problem?

  It's annoying - I need to reboort my router every day to get an internet connection? I have a desktop computer and a laptop more iPads, etc. The laptop loses connectivity every day around the same time. So far, my only solution is to reboot the router. I realize that the client lease time is set to 1 day by default, but it is not supposed to ask the modem for another day of life, when this happens?

  Well, you are on a cable or DSL connection? I don't know that I'll just move forward and try to determine some tips for your router settings:

  1. you use E3200 which is a double router broadband. So I think you'll find these settings:

  

  I change the setting like QUACK says:

  For the 5 GHz channel parameters, you can do channel width to 20 MHz only and channel 40 or 161...

  For 2.4 GHz string parameters, you can make the channel width to channel 6, 9, 11 and 20 MHz only...

  Your iPad will only see the 2.4 GHz so that they connect to. If your laptop can see the two strips, they connect to any broadcast signal is the strongest. If you are interested in reading about the difference between 2.4 and 5 GHz, you can read it here.
