• Computer laptop cracked screen sent for warranty repairs!

  I recently had my laptop that is only two months old (Qomisio X 10 500 t) sent back to Toshiba for repair of the fingerprint reader. When the left laptop was in perfect condition and not a top scratch. having paid £1,500 for it I was very careful to keep safe. Toshiba sent mail UPS to perceive and delieverd to Toshiba, it was the next day. When I contacted Toshiba to confirm that it had arrived safely, they said that it had happened, and the repair team had begun to look at this day. 4 to 5 days later, I checked the status of service online, and he said required information. So I rang the customer service and they said that there was nothing on the notes and all well aseemed. 2 days after (today) I get a phone call saying that they found no problem with the hardware with the fingerprint reader, but they found a problem with the screen. After hold that they say that they have noticed a crack in the screen and have a prize of £500 for me to get it fixed. OMG! I told them that there are no cracks/scratches or anhthing when he left via UPS (their courior). I was asked if I had checked that UPS box and pacakaged it safely in front of me. They then say that they will contact me in 48 hours but the team repair always photograph the machines when they come in and say now it was cracked since the beginning. They sent me an email of the photo and there is massive cracks curved towards the bottom of the right side of the screen! Even then, they had the nerve to ask if I'd like to send them the quote so I said no cos I wouldn't pay for the repair of it.

  So what's with that position? Are they not corrected the original sin is the courior sent by Toshiba or Toshiba repairs broke the screen. I have no evidence that it wasn't like that before. I don't understand why Toshiba didn't ring the day they received, if there was a crack whethey opened the package? They would surely do this before even touching anything else. I think that the repair team broke and said it was like this before

  What should I do? I can't afford to pay for the repairs and even if I could I don't see why I should!

• T61 + locked HDD for warranty repair

  My T61 (less than one year) suddenly stopped posting and loading windows. LEDs, fan will pass on, two beeps, but no out put on-screen. Tried an external monitor, air cleaned the openings of ventilation and heatsink without result.

  If the machine has been sent for repair under warranty.

  Question;

  1. I have improved the original HDD with a WD 500 GB HDD, does it affect the limited three-year warranty?
  2. I removed that drive and replaced the original 120 GB of HARD drive before you send him off of the laptop, I had put a HARD drive on the laptop locking and so can't access the data on the WD HARD drives on the desktop / HDD enclosure. I presume that attaching this drive to a another PC would simply give me a password and I then enter the password and access my data, does not. This gave me a few scary chills; If a major component such as the chip of the card mother/security or the portable integer is replaced, the laptop will be able to recognize that it locked HDD and prompt for the password? I have no recent backup and it has reminded me (again) to save before leaving home, backup when you get home, and then perform another backup while you sleep!

  Advice or guidance to this mental torture will be highly appreciated.

  In Australia, you can tell them the password and they will remove it for you. If you could call Lenovo and tell them to put a note here regarding the password, if the filing of the application for Lenovo, this information may be transmitted to technicians so they need.

• Card NVIDIA of Pavilion Dv7 no longer works after warranty repair

  In February, I sent my Pavilion Dv7 (product # A5F93AV, running Windows 7 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M graphics and more onboard Intel(r) HD Graphics 4000) for warranty repairs because he had lost the capacity of the batteries.  While there, according to the Scriptures, HP replaced the motherboard, the antenna wireless (twice) and the bottom of the case.  I received it by FedEx last Thursday, and superficially, everything works well.

  However, over the weekend, I loaded one of my most games intensive graphics (Guild Wars 2) and immediately noticed that the video performance was degraded. FPS fell less than 10, when before repair, the game went very well.  After some digging and run Open Hardware Monitor, looks like maybe running has not been reinstated to the GPU when the motherboard has been replaced and the game (and everything else) are using integrated computer graphics.  The monitor indicates that GPU temperature is constantly 0 degrees, with 0,0%, memory controller GPU load 0,0-0,0% video engine GPU GPU.  The GPU memory runs at a constant 2.8%

  Because it's my first machine, I really prefer is not to return to Texas for another 2-3 weeks.  Is that what I would be able to visually check myself and potentially connect myself without welding? If so, where I would look internally to do? or what should I take to my local repair shop to repair?

I've been good to Dreamweaver CS3, which was more intuitive to understand myself, but the creation of the sensitive site, I need even if the mastery of this new version of Dreamweaver CC (I've got 2014 CC and CC 20141) is beyond my skills.   I am updating a Web site I did years ago in Dreamweaver CS3. There has got to be reactive in office, Tablet and mobile phone. Adobe technical support helped me to make a fluid grid presentation, 3 sizes of jpg images, I did for the homepage work, but I can't get the navigation customized, that I need to work. Home page uses the image full screen with superimposed at the bottom icons which are used for navigation. I created this in Photoshop, but I also did versions of fireworks that change the images of the icons on the mouse overview, links to other pages by clicking on. Created 3 jpg in Photoshop that I can use for the site if Fireworks files are incompatible in fluid grid. I also have 3 .htm files from Fireworks for three sizes: Desktop - 1900 x 1267, Tablet - 1152 x 768, Cell - 480 x 800, at 72 dpi. The Fireworks files have icon second state images that switch to move the mouse.  I can't get the FW files to work in fluid grid. Technical support told me that FW files cannot be sensitive unless I have write the custom CSS code manually.  Otherwise, I tried to create interactive image and hotspots on the image of the front page in DW CC 20141 Adobe forum said that hotspots only are not supported in this version of DW - then took their recommendation and downloaded & installed DW 2014. Was able to create hotspots with links to other pages using DW 2014 but when I saw in the browser that everything is messed up. Fluid grid image sizes are all visible tiles instead of resizing with versicles with the size of the screen as they did before I made the hot spots.

  Yet once again, I need hands on help for many problems. Thanks to indicate where to go for you help, thank you!

  Image maps aren't going to work well because the hotspot regions will not resize with the image.   Fireworks could be good to create models and images for your site, but this is not a good tool for the construction of sensitive sites & navigation elements.  The code is much too rigid and unstable.

  I think you should also be familiar with the appropriate frameworks available on the web.  They can help you achieve your goals of project in ways you might not already examined.
