  I don't want every time must go to the box and check 1 printing pages 1. I just want to print page 1 and stop or Cancel to whatever page I want to stop. Print not back with all sorts of pages to fill.

  In your printer preferences (Advanced tab), you can pay your order Page "Front to back" (found under page layout Options).

  This should change the order in which pages are printed.

  This all-in-one has already worked on this computer and scanned documents. I solved the immediate problem by copying the document in question, rather than scanning it as expected. I sometimes alternative HP all in one installed on that computer. It is a USB connection on a single computer.

  I read the article for help . The scan diagnostics program does not list the all in one F2187 as being installed, it just displays USB.   The help section is re - install, but I already recently did the first time I read the article. I reinstalled using the internet, as I do not have the CD origianal at hand at the time. (So also no instructions for the moment)

  Other notes

  • Even if I get a message on the connection not the all-in-one works ok as a printer.
  • The scan does not work with HP solutions
  • The copy will work however the HP solution
  • No doubt the background material button is to copy, it doesn't work (high green flashing of the LED for a while - but there is no attempt at analysis.)
  • Scanning does not work from Windows XP (after trying to analyze in the paint - analysis option is greyed out)
    (I wonder if that indicates some kind of conflict)

  Any help or suggestions welcomed, but it may take me a few days to get around events and try to solve this problem.

  This is a long post, so I'll start with:

  In summary

  • something has changed and stopped the analytical work, I guess an update, or an update failed
  • an installation using a web download has failed repeatedly
  • HP diagnostics and troubleshooting does not seem much help
  • a re - install from an original cd has worked (in fact the CD might have been a different HP printer)
  • I see that my security software seems to interfere (Norton Internet Security) with the web update
  • Msinfo32 did highlight the problem

  Now for a longer answer

  I don't know why the scan has stopped working. I'm guessing that maybe an update was not suitable, or an update has failed. My system is Windows XP and using run-> msinfo32 I couldn't be a problem that the printer has been listed as a problem the appliance without driver.

  I tried the downloads of diagnosis HP that they did not help as much as a problem has been identified, but no printer has been identified as being installed, it just displays as a USB device without a name. RHE print download diagnostic work and give a load of green ticks. The printer did continue to work.

  The download of the web re - install failed. An attempt ended with a fatal error. Most of the attempts ended with screens showing but no option to do something. For example a progress bar still not 100% but an end 8/8 and gray buttons. The installation process with the Windows Task Manager to kill led to a download of an another interactive help file. I'm not sure that this was the case of good advice or offered that solve anything, but it was good at least to see happening.

  I tried to use one of the downloads of convenience store without being connected to the internet, but he refused to play that a connection is required.

  I noticed that my internet security was apparently interfering with the process.

  I am currently using Norton Internet Security. (NIS)

  I tried to start a re - install security installed and activated. I don't have anu warnings or advice to which I would need to react, but I noticed he was blocking actions. This continued even once installed software had its security option further down.

  I came to the conclusion that unless I uninstalled NIS a re - install online would not work.

  I dug an installation CD

  • I left off Internet - contributing to the security
  • I used the interface parameters of the user interface to reduce his minimum security setting NIS
    (he may still have blocked an online installation, but now he was offline, I have no blocking view reports
    -Note that I speak no explicit blocking reports
    (- I mean only blocking reports once apparent, history of security is displayed from NIS)
  • It worked, now the installation proceed as usual

  All in one printer works again including the scanning from the software, the hardware button

  He don't not at the moment seems to function as a scanner of Windows in the paint, it's something even HP help pages expect, he is listed as a workaround for problems of scanning.

  If you are interested in you answer

  • is NIS proving a known problem, and if so, that being done about this, is this a known issue on their forum?
  • you are able to get the web Updater runs on a XP with NIS system, if necessary
    • stuff like what I should have done?
    • you get block messages or not?
    • I am attaching a picture of HPZSHL01. EXE is not loved, but there is no option to trust him etc.
    • I am also attaching a picture display which of NIS user interface, should be relatively non reactive it is stopped, as well as can be done bar uninstall
    • Someone at - he better ideas except that it is a bad installation, is this a known problem and is the fact that the web install a known issue?

  My C309A printer Panel is on, but none of the buttons do not work... Start button / stop does not have anything, arrows, touch copy, fax, menu key, home key button, etc... NOTHING... The fact of unplugging and plugging back in will get the printer to start sometimes, otherwise the screen menu screen does not even there and hangs with the colored bars that scroll down... Printer will print, works...

  Looks like the printer is getting hung up in internal controls at the start, but it could also have a power connection problem develops in the printer.

  Have you performed an oil change at full power on the printer?

  * Unplug the printer while on

  Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

  * Separate the power cord of the power supply module in the middle of the length of the cord

  * Wait a minute

  * Plug the unit back to

  It is also possible that a reset for the functioning internal printer could get going.  I'll send reset information you via private messaging.  Before performing the steps, please read Bob_Headrick wire on the reset of the printer.  The thread can be found here.  I hope this helps.

  One of the programs was the Toshiba Blu ray disc player 32/64-bit (it is not available in the download list), and Cyberlink media (starts to download, but encounter the error "your system must have a version of non-evaluation of PowerDirector Touch 1.0 installed.) The installation will stop.

  Has anyone else had these problems.
  I'm afraid I won't be able to play discs more that I deleted the Blu - ray player? I would be grateful for any advice.

  Had the same problem (and message) with Cyberlink Media Show on Windows10 on a Satellite P50t - a. Tried to find PowerDirector Touch 1 with the intention to delete, but could not find. Did not find any other mention of this problem on the forum!

  If the producer of the printer is a driver for OS X that allows faxing then I don't see why not

  my all in one single 2610 simply stopped communicating with my office; has got the following messages: has not passed window logo testing to verify capatibility with windows xp, then hpgwiamd.dll of files on cd necessary, then hpzius12.sys on hp need cd, then hpz1mc10.dll necessary.  a do not have any problem before.  checked all said hp hp and downloads are up to date.  any ideas?  Thank you

  Looks like you need to uninstall the software and reinstall it again. Equip your drive when it comes up to select uninstall, unplugg your printer prior to this usb connection. Once done go to the hp.com and down load the newest driver for your printer software. Download and install, don't plugg in the intill usb, only the software request you. Tell me how it works.

  I'm getting rid of my HP L7580 all in one and although I deleted my fax log, nbr name and fax number of the installation of the printer itself, when I print the Fax log just to be sure that nothing about it, my name appeared again.   How can I get rid of him?   When scanning documents using the HP 1510, I already had a drop down menu the possibility to save my document in pdf format 'searchable' that I use to run another program that combines my PDFs in a large document.  Then my computer crashed during installation windows 10 and I lost everything.  I returned to windows printer drivers 7 resettled the 1510 and all software on the HP site and installed acrobat reader dc as my adobe product.  Now when I scan everything I see is to scan in pdf format.  How can I return the option scan to searchable PDF?

  You must install the full feature software - you can download it from the support page of your printer for your operating system.

• I have a HP PHotosmart Premium while a single C309g - is no longer black. Ink

  My printer has stopped printing in black ink - I used the tool - cleaning printhead several times but no result.

  I am using windows 7 32 - bit, Just started to fade in color these days. The cartridge is not empty - even installed a new - but no change. Is this an electrical problem or a blocked port?  Only 2 1/2 years. Is it a throw point? All of the suggestions. Thank you. Sandy

  Lizzy-beff-Thank I'll check you for the reply, this thread of Bob Headrick. He will tell you not only soak the print head, but also run the cleanup utility later to get the best results. If go you through the process and you find that you can still not able to print. You can call HP Total care for the purchase of a print head. There is also a program known as the program level HP where you can call to find out get a reclamation printer at a reduced price. This printer will come with a full factory warranty and have an extended warranty that is placed on it. The only reason I mention this option is that the printer option may be about the same price as the print head and give you a warranty again.  The number of HP Total care for US and Canada visitors is 1-800-474-6836.   Suddenly, magenta is not printing.  The printer indicates that the HP cartridge is almost empty, but does not print magenta.

  I did the smart thing and looked up to the HP support site.  He said to go to tools, then select "clean cartridges" here.

  Everything is fine and magenta is print again.
