Who can "Cancel" a document?

A member of my team members has sent a document and realized after the sending of what he sent the wrong document. Away from his computer, he contacted me to 'Cancel' and send the appropriate signature document. When I log in and go to the tab "manage" to cancel the document, it does not give me an option "Cancel". It only gives me an option 'remove '. So now I wonder if only the sender can 'Cancel' and what will happen if I chose "delete"?    Thank you.

The sender of the document has the access level to cancel and delete the document later. Now, if the document is still "For Signature" section, then you can single click and immediately right, click Cancel. If the document is already cancelled, then it is displayed in the cancelled/rejected section or Delete option appears.
