  I FOUND the solution, thanks to Suzukibiker, Chaddington Boomhauer on SecondLife and Pyrografix on Microsoft TechNet.  Long story short, I activated the REAL administrator of my machine through http://www.autoshutdown.org/how-to-enable-administrator-in-vista.html and was able to take in hand the folder and files.  I then renamed the something VERY vulgar folder, only the iTunes Installer ignored later, allowing me to finally completely reinstall iTunes.

• Why can I not see my file in Lightroom?

  I have a problem see a file in LR 4.2 when it is located in the folder where I want it to be.

  I created a composite tiff image of two raw files residing in two different folders.  I had exported the two LR like TIFF raw files, open the TIFF in Photoshop CS5, then grouped into a file of multilayer tiff to create a composite file 600 + MB.  This composite was recorded in Photoshop, under a new file name using the "save under".  I knew that the new composite file would not be in the LR catalog, until I imported it.   When I imported, the picture went in a new folder named date (call the folder "A").  So far, it all makes sense to me.

  From that point on things got funny.  Working in LR, I tried to move the composite single file in the folder that make up one of the files is from (let's call it 'B' folder).  The move has failed. Instead, I got an error message saying that the file already existed in 'b '.   I couldn't see the file in 'B' using lightroom, but MS Explorer revealed that the file was there.  I don't understand how he got there.

  Still trying to get my composite 'B' recognized by LR, I first deleted the composite 'B' using Explorer, then went into LR and moved the file 'A' (where recognized LR), in 'B '.   Still not good.  LR does not display the file in 'B', but it appears in the Explorer.

  I guess I could live with this composite file into its own folder, 'A', but this isn't really where I want to.  More importantly, I don't understand why I can't see in LR in the folder where I want to.

  Help is appreciated.

  Problem went away this morning!

  I tried this step once again (again) after my computer starts:

  Still trying to get my composite 'B' recognized by LR, I first deleted the composite 'B' using Explorer, then went into LR and moved the file 'A' (where recognized LR), in 'B '.

  This time it worked, the file moved successfully and normally appears in LR.

  Don't know if the re-booting helped, or I made a stupid mistake that healed a good night sleep to.  If later, I apologize to all those who are scratched their heads on this one.

• Why can I not see the files I back up by using the backup and restore of Vista

  Can someone help me?  I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and implemented backup and restore feature Vista so that every Sunday he automatically backs up my computer to my external drive.  I was on the computer when he said it starts up and that upward was completed successfully.  I assummed everything was fine until today when I show my father my drive external and noticed that none of the backup of files were there... or at least I did not see them.  The only files on the disk were the ones I put manually on here from my old computer.  I then ran a manual upward using Vista and again it says backup successfully completed.  I then watched the external hard drive and once again no new files.  The strange thing is the back up and restore program shows all the dates he has saved and also allows me to restore files from the back to the top.  To do this, I deleted a file I didn't really need out of my hard drive and then is gone to restore program and found the file and restored.  Problem is that the program does not say where he makes the file from.  What is going on?  Are backup files of certain types of hidden file I don't see unless I use the backup and restore program under vista?  I am currently running Vista Home Premium on a 32 bit system and the external hard drive I have is a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition.

  Windows backup is stored in a folder with the same name as your computer.  Open a command prompt and type echo %ComputerName% or startup, right-click on computer, properties.  You should see that % ComputerName % folder on your external drive, and in this context, a backup set.   Try using one of the following free products to remove the file.  Assassin http://www.malwarebytes.org/fileassassin.php of files (with or without forcing the deletion: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/27/force-delete-cannot-delete-locked-or-in-used-files-or-folders-with-fileassassin/) or Unlocker to: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml.  These programs often work when normal functions remove Vista not work correctly.

  The padlock icon means that the files are not shared with others.  If you right click on the folder and choose "Share with" menu, you can remove the lock (but doing so allows anyone on your network to see your files).

  Regarding files jpeg appears not, have you tried pressing F5 to force the file to refresh?
  If this does not work, please respond and let me know.  It could be that the files are not saved to your documents, but in fact a system such as "C:\Program Files\Ancentry\" folder.

  Megan, the dedicated team working on this and it seems to work that way for a long time only; every time, it downloads a file .ai only.

  From of now the workaround that you can try is to open the file IN Illustrator and save it as .eps.

  It's weird and miss me probably just something obvious, but I downloaded "flashplayer20_ha_install" and completed the installation. Now I want to delete the file because it is no longer necessary. It seems impossible.

  I get an error message "File cannot be deleted because it is open in Adobe Download Manager". Fine. When I'm looking exactly where to find Adobe Download Manager, I like that it is no longer used for the installation of flash player. So, how can I get rid of the file?

  It's weird.  Under Windows, the Setup online file automatically deletes automatic when the installation is complete, without worrying whether it succeeded or not. In your case, it seems that something (e.g. some process) continues to use the finished installation program.  When you try to delete the file and get the error that it is in use, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Task Manager
     • You can right-click on the icon of the window at the bottom left to view a menu or type "Task Manager" in the search field
  2. Right click on the Task Manager and select "Run as Administrator"
  3. In the Find tab process "Adobe Download Manager.  If it is there, right click and select 'end of task.
  4. Go to the 'Users' tab and search for "Adobe Download Manager" process.  If it is there, right click and select 'end of task.
  5. Go to the 'Détails' tab and search for "flashplayer20_ha_install.exe. If it is there, right click and select 'end of task.

  Please post back or not one of the above option worked.  If it doesn't work (the process was not in one of these tabs) I'll need to climb the team that manages the line/Adobe Download Manager installer.
