Why checkers continues after my opponent closes?

Play checkers

When your opponent closes a game and the computer takes over, the game should end at this point.  Continuing to play against the computer is a waste of time.

In addition, when your opponent takes too long to move and you click on 'move' the wait is too long.  Ten seconds should be the length of the time-out period before declarded the winner.

If you want to give your feedback on Windows 7 from Microsoft, you can do so here:

However, such as Windows 8 is now upon us that I don't know how much new development work they still give to Windows 7.
