Why Illustrator exports no suitable image?

I'm a web designer who works in Illustrator. I used plans of work to the "slice" upward the necessary images for the web.

Normally, I got to file > export and then choose according to file type and form, I need. Lately, if I want to export a picture say for the part 'Heroes' of a landing page. I export an image which is 1200px X 200px, for example and get a picture which is 1201px X 201px. Why is this? If the plan of work around the content item is 1200px X200px why am I extra pixels on my images?

Also, I work in the format of RGB color, with the hex codes to set the colors. Lately, when I export an image as a .jpg file, for example, the background color of this .jpg is not aligning with the RGB/Hex color in my file HAVE native. It creates a problem when I go to put this image on the web and the colors don't line up - but they line up in the file.

Any help on this would be much appreciated! I worked in Illustrator do this process for a few years now and just started to run into issues. I can only assume it has something to do with the software updates. It's just a real drag because I LOVE the web design process how agile is in Illustrator - I'd hate to have to return to Photoshop.

Vanessa,

Is the workplan contained in the integer X and Y pixel values?

You can see using benchmarks corner opposed in the Transform palette and look at the values of X and Y.

  • Why Illustrator on Windows 7, 64 bit, lasts 30 seconds + to save a single image?

This question is for Adobe, thank you Customer Service.

Why Illustrator on Windows 7, 64 bit, lasts 30 seconds + to save a single image composed of two rectangles only (screenshot below)?  I created a document like this to test the speed, because I struggled to save all documents - they hang, sometimes with the message "this program is not responding.   Switch to CC is not an option.

If it helps, I can get off at the Adobe San Francisco Office with my computer.  I spent a lot of time trying to fix this problem without success.

BTW, Photoshop CS6 records very well.

    Thanks again.

I put a printer (in fact, I put it to 'Adobe PDF') and this seems to have solved the problem :-)

I had the default printer for Windows on a network printer...  I guess that's what was causing the slowdown, even if I'm not sure of the mechanics behind this affects saving a document (without no impression goes).  I need to switch to the printer, if I need to see a copy of the paper, at least, which in my case is rare.

I hope that others will find this thread and solve slow recording as well.

  • When I try to export a specific image, it begins to export ALL the images that I have in the library

Hi, please help. I tried to find a solution for hours on the web and there without help.

I'm working on the current CC with Lightroom and so far my exports were functioning normally. Now when I try to export a single image (that I just worked on) he begins to export ALL images I imported the library and create copies in doubles of each.

Since I imported a file of about 230 images, it starts all exporters. The only way I can stop it is close LR, but when I re - open and try to export any of the images, it starts all exporters again.

Anyone know why this is happening and hot to fix it?

    Thank you!!

Then you have all of the selected images. It's pretty easy to do.

If you are in the grid view and at the same time selecting all images by clicking on another image, the image real itself, that is not the main concern, highlighted in brighter than others, only changes the major to this image focus and does not select Disable all others. You must click voluntarily off the images, as in an empty spot or not on the image itself, but on the border around the image.

    The chic Lady

File > open to open your eps file

File > export to export your image as a jpg.

In the export dialog just below where you type the name of the file is a type of file, which is where you choose jpg.

Whatever you do, do not delete the eps file. If you need to access the original you have.

I recommend instead of jpg you choose psd, tiff, or png and jpg don't use that to share. Jpg is a lossy format, which means that whenever you modify the file and save it, degrades the quality of this file. The formats that I recommend are lossless formats, you can edit all you want that data is not being ignored, unless you choose to do so.

Browser multimedia lla only will show you photos from your photo library, if the library is your system library.  Check in Photos preferences > general, if 'use as a Photo library system' is UO greyedcrossed, as it should be.

and the application must be fully compatible with El Capitan, or it can only show the iPhoto and Aperture libraries.  You may need to update your copy of inDesign. I don't know, if there is a newer version.

  • Text export as an image?

Hi there, I was wondering if someone could help me; I'm just learning that any text in your site from MUSE, export as an image and not text. Is this true?

I know one of my clients had a web programmer look at his site, and he told her that all the text is images.

Is it possible to change that, I might use fonts that are not user-friendly web and muse so exported it as an image, the problem would be corrected if I use web fonts secure?

    ANEs thanks in advance

    Hello

You are Correct. If you use a system font in Muse Muse will convert the image so that it can be rendered on the web server. To address this problem using standard font or the font Web.

If you use a system font in a text box then Muse will inform you with an icon on the bottom right.

    Kind regards

  • How to export a JPEG image at 300 dpi? PS keeps exporting to 96 DPI res attributed image 300px although / in

in Photoshop CC 2015.1 I have made sure my image is at 300 DPI by going to "Image > Image size" and set the resolution to 300 pixels per inch. However, when I go in "file > export > export as >"JPG "image is exported to 96 dpi. I know that the PS is exports to 96 DPI because when I open the image exported with the PS, the resolution is set at 96 dpi. Therefore, when I import the exported in Acrobat, PDF pages images look too big zoom 100%. I want to use 300 DPI because in this way the image (which has a resolution of 2500 x 3500 px) will look at a reasonable size at 100% zoom on the PC screen average when given via Adobe Acrobat. I also tried to export PS using "file > export > save for Web", but the results were the same.

So far the only solution that worked using PS must convert the PSD of a JPG using "" file > save as > JPG ". However, this method does not provide the export settings as much as "file > export". It's not possible to export JPEG files at 300 dpi with "file > export"?

My another workaround is to use a 3rd party software called XnConvert to change the dpi of the exported image without changing its dimensions in pixels.

Do not export, it is an unfinished feature that will remove the color profile, causing the images appear more saturated.

And it's probably defaults to 96 DPI, I don't think that you can change that.

PPI is metadata used by printer drivers to calculate print size, and it has no effect on the display screen. Dimensions in pixels are all that matters.

If you want to export multiple images at the same time, take a look at the image processor, located under file > Scripts.

I never use it, (I do this kind of thing in Lightroom), but I think you can select images in Bridge and run it from there.

Why Illustrator change my anchor points and size race randomly when I'm using the tool pen?

    k,

It looks like you might be haunted by the Align attribute to the ghost of the pixel grid.

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

I imported the photos on a memory card. I did my corrections and exported on my desk. Lightroom has changed

It seems that you export a small image and not the original.

Select the image in the library and check the pixel under EXIF dimensions in the metadata pane on the right side of the screen.
