Hello
Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc in the drive?
You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.
CD have a tolerance + - and you have to write on the side outside their tolerance. They can be given
However, it is generally more economical to replace the disk.Several good info here:

Try this troubleshooting:
Step 1: Please make all underneath the same if you've done it before as it's often the total of the process which
solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Hello
Sometimes, burning and playback does not work due to incorrect settings in the registry. Maybe you're a lucky guy and he will have to change this;
Try this:
Remove the CD/DVD driver from the Device Manager and restart the laptop. Then the operating system should recognize and reinstall the drive.
Do this:
Completely remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from the following registry key values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}It may be useful

Re: Satellite P200 - TS - L802a Won't burn DVD on Windows 7
I have a Satellite P200. Due to the original HDD becomes full, I installed a new drive hard more - and installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it. I can't get my DVD burner to work (TS-L802a). The DVD player is fine because if I put the old hard drive back (Vista) it works perfectly. I have the 6.1.7601.17514 (TF32) firmware installed. I tried to upgrade to the WinVup2_L802A_RATO35 however the installer does not recognize that there is a DVD player - even if it will read DVDs without problem. It says update is not available and the Start button is grayed out.
I searched high and low for a solution and I'm out of ideas. Can anyone offer a solution please? Thanks in advance.
NB: I have not upgraded from Vista - I bought Windows 7 to install on new hard drive.
Hey,.
> even if it will read DVDs without problem
This means that DVD burning function is affected, but you can play DVDs without problem, right?Well, this could be also related to the brand of DVD. This DVD you use for burning discs?
I m using the DVD - R Verbatim and TDK. The two brands works fine on my laptop. What burning software do you use? Have you tried with CD Burner XP?

I have a laptop DV2000 and although the DVD Player reads and plays CD and DVD it doesn't burn a data DVD. The properties of the driver are so-called "working properly", but I lost many DVDs trying to burn playlists to itunes.
It could be as simple a problem that do not use white to DVD quality. Learn more about best drives to http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/dvd-media.htm
I suggest Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs only.

Can anyone help on why my first charge up to 14 will not burn Blu Ray but will burn DVD still 11 first on the same computer has no problems burning Blu Ray or DVD. ? Thank you. RB
What operating system do you use?
What brand of computer are you using (HP, Dell, etc.)? Have you spent at the web site of the manufacturer and installed the drivers from HP, Dell, support of any web site page? Sometimes drivers that Windows installs are not as effective - especially if you have recently upgraded to Windows 10.
There may be other factors, but we will need a lot more information in order to solve the deeper problems.

Encoding and the work of converting very well, but won't burn to dvd?
Hello, I tried many suggestions as well as procedures standard to try to solve my problem, but my dvd will not burn again :(
This (assuming) started after my wife somehow deleted my user account from the computer (HP dv6704 nr laptop), I put a blank disc in as usual (after redo my user account with all the links, etc.) and conversion went well and is attesting that burn is 'Excellent' or well ya know, tried it with my fav ConvertXtodvd as well as factory Windows Movie Maker and says 'burn is good. " , but nothing to do? It is the first time that I had a problem in 3 or 4 years procedures. I tried deleting the upper/lower case filters, startup repair, remove to let drivers update automatic, changed versions of the burner that I use in case of default, etc etc...
I don't know there is something simple that miss me that the cd take very well, please help someone?
Using CCCP codecs (although convertX has no need of em) and threw a po filter AC3... uh, running VISTA HOME PREMIUM (came installed) and the burner is a TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS - 632N ATA Device.
Someone help me please, my little ones like the video I do em, and I do too :)
Hi jedjoe24,
· You receive an error message when burning?
When you try to burn videos or movie from Director of Windows, use Windows DVD maker to burn to DVD.
Method 1
Uninstall any third-party DVD burning software installed on the computer and try to burn.
Method 2
You can try to reduce the burn speed and check.
1. open Windows DVD Maker.
2. on the page, share your memories on a DVD , click on choose of pictures and videos.
3. in the Add pictures and video to the DVD page, click Options.
You can change the following settings in the dialog box Options of DVD :
· DVD burning speed. This option allows you to select the speed to burn your DVD. The default choice for this option is faster. Some DVD burners won't burn at full speed using some types of DVD. If you have problems burning discs, try selecting medium or slow.
Change Windows DVD Maker DVD-Video settings
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-Windows-DVD-Maker-DVD-video-settings
Method 3
Make sure that the DVD burner is properly connected to your computer and powered, and that all the necessary software drivers for the DVD burner are installed. You can check your hardware settings in Device Manager by following these steps:
1. click on Startand then click Control Panel.
2. click on hardware and sound.
3. click on Device Manager.
Make sure that the video you are trying to burn are not damaged. To see whether the videos you want to burn are corrupted, try playing or viewing with Windows Media Player. If the files do not play with the player, Windows DVD Maker cannot burn.
