  Well, I know that the issue is long-term... believe me, it's a long, but as they say, the devil is in the details. Anywho, the question is, my grandfather has a HP laptop, which for two years has been able to run through a Linksys switch to his router and connect its printers to his laptop. About two months ago it suddenly doesn't work like that. Now, it works fine if it plugs directly into the router/Ethernet. My uncle suggested that the switch was bad, but after testing the same port, cable and all, the switch worked well for him. ' GRAMPS really needs this answered, but someone else, it is called can not understand and now I, in turn, ask you all for what you can offer. Here are the ideas that we have already discredited.

  I assume you actually mean that you have a printer HP Photosmart 8250?

  This printer is essentially - not * really * supported by HP to the title of the edition of Windows that you are using.  That's about what I believe it means when you choose the operating system on the Web of HPs site for your printer and you get the, "installation of the product with the USB cable and using the driver located in the Windows operating system _»<-- they="" gave="" some="" generic="" universal="" driver="" to="" microsoft="" for="" distribution="" and="" you="" might="" get="" it="" working,="" but="" it="" may="" not="" have="" all="" the="" features="" you="" used="" to="" have="" in="" an="" other="">

  One thing probably listed in these forums is to replace the printer inherited by a support by the manufacturer of equipment under an operating system, that you have chosen to run... That failed?  * smile *.

  Honestly - reviews and other for this printer back in 2004 I can say - it means that this printer is old enough (although more recent you).  I'm shocked they kept alive that long, really.  Looking at the Vista drivers and others, later are of March 2007, over 5 years.

  I think you you would save a lot of time and invest in a newer printer that is designed to work with modern operating systems, :-) grief

  You're blaming the wrong people. It's all 'Fault' Apple to no longer support legacy APIs. In any case, it's a moot point. The computer world is changing rapidly, and it should be clear to everyone that beyond a point former software simply won't be more compatible with most modern operating systems. If you cannot meet this 'death race', then you will have to find alternatives. Anything beyond that is not worth debating or post complaints on.

  I am in the phase of learning with first (edited on Sony Vegas for years) and I'm working on a test/learning the project using a mix of videos and photos of my family trips.

  Working with the video looks very good (although the thumbnails take forever to load for the still and video images and need to refresh every time that I re - open a bin). When I work with stills (jpgs in this case), PP CC 2015 crashes at various points. He fell down on a double click to add to the drafting of a subitem, when deleting a still in the chronology of the sequence, a trip as always on the scenario, when you open the tab effects, etc.

  I haven't done this experiment with video.

  Don't laugh, but I was hoping that my laptop Dell XPS (Core i7 4500U, Intel HD Graphics 4400, 8 GB of RAM) would have enough power to use first (a part of why I subscribed). I'm on Windows 10 and keeping the files I work with on my local hard disk solid state. I tried to solve the problem by updating and also reduce the graphics driver, but I'm not as much of a techie like many of you.

  The photos you are editing are really big? How many RAM GPU you have? I assume you are using GPU acceleration (found in the project settings); If you do software only made you still a fall?

  I back to FF 33 to 32 FF because TabGroups Manager 2011.11.28.1 failed. I've tried RESETTING FF, new profile, all deleted Add ons, TGM clean install and it still has not. I go back to 32 FF and everything is great. I realize, or so it seems that TGM is no longer a recognized extension and is not perfect but it's a great manager tab with more than 20 K users group last time I looked. I hope that fix you the problem in FF 33 so it does not work. I can't image using FF without TGM. Why don't build you something like TGM in a new version of FF?   Is there a beta available on this page for compatibility Firefox 33 v104 . But it seems that this 'team' has not mastered an installation link.   Only the toolbar is not compatible with Firefox because BitDefender probably did not updated the toolbar. You can post on BitDefender forum for confirmation on the toolbar, when it will be updated, etc. BitDefender should still work in the background to protect you.

• My compaq won't work with a cisco router

  Hi people, I have a presario CQ50-110US notebook. When I try to use an already established wireless home network, I can join the network, but it won't allow me to get on the internet. Screen sharing network shows that I'm on the network, but there is a X red betweeen of the network and the internet. I know that installation works from other laptops in the House, and my laptop runs using an ethernet cable. The router is a Cisco DPC3825, if it has a limitation on anything whatsoever.   It won't be Windows 8 drivers for this printer. You can try this, it may or may not work.

  First run, delete print jobs to eliminate any print job stuck in the queue.

  Unplug the printer.

  Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

  Restart your computer. Make sure that the printer is deleted. Deleting Manual printer driver

  Download the 32-bit drivers for Windows 8 32 bit Vista or 64-bit drivers for 64 bit Vista Windows 8. Install the Vista drivers in Vista compatibility mode, you will get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at the moment (power on).

  I've certainly limited technical knowledge these things here, but can someone please explain to me why there are standards (USB, Mini-USB, etc.) but Palm makes their mini-usb special requirements or unique so only some products work?

  I have used several brands and everybody has worked so far for me. I have even a mini - mic adapter that adapts to any standard mini-usb and works fine.
