What could be in the last update of El Capitan to slow my Mid 2010 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro 2.66 down so much?   He has never run it slow before! Everything takes more time in all areas. Could I have made a mistake during the download and installation?  If so is it possible to force a re - install the latest update?

  I don't know if I can restore back after an update of this size. Everyone has similar problems or have thoughts on what could be wrong? I know it's far from being a State of the art Macbook Pro. But it was working fine before the update.

  Any thoughts would be really appreciated. I can't afford to buy anything newer right now.

  You cannot install previous versions with a trial.  You must have a subscription.

  Regarding the download, the correct trial version going, you should be able to manage on the link below.  If you have made a purchase and bought a Windows license so it is not valid for a Mac installation.  You will need to contact the Support from Adobe when they go bacvk vacation to see about getting the correct license.

  You can download the demo version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

  Billnm know that you post to a public forum.  If you want to manage your subscription accounts then please contact our support contact the customer serviceteam.

  The version of Lightroom available via creative application Cloud Desktop is licensed differently than the version installed with a perpetual serial number.  I would recommend the disconnection of the current installation of Photoshop Lightroom and then put it back through the application of Creative Cloud Desktop.  You can find more details about the uninstall and install process to Creative Cloud help | Install, update, or uninstall applications.

  My computer has a Seagate hard drive 500 GB internal SATA that has the operating system on it and also a secondary internal Seagate IDE HDD 80 GB that I was drag files on a backup. I tried to format this drive of 80 GB to get a fresh start and use Windows backup to back up my files. Windows 7 will not format the drive, and he does not see the drive as a location of backup because apparently the clean installation of the Windows operating system, updated system files on the secondary drive. Disk management reports the operating system drive (500 GB one) as "disk 1-Boot, Page File, crash dump, primary Partition. It reports the secondary drive (the 80 GB one I would use with Windows Backup) as "disk 0-system, active, primary Partition". I would very probably disconnect the secondary drive and do other clean install of Windows 7, so he places all the files on the hard drive and do not involve the secondary drive, so I can format the secondary drive and use backup Windows?
