  Having just received my code signing keys, I wanted to try what I've done so far on a real device (working in the Simulator), but the widget run on my device.
  Here the steps I did:
  (1) register all 3 keys with the SignatureTool
  (2) in VS 2008, select 'Signed' configuration, build.
  (3) signature request dialog, all the 3 keys signed successfully.
  (4) I deploy the application on my device via the usb port by using this command:
  "%ProgRoot%\Research in Motion\BlackBerry Widget Packager\bin\JavaLoader.exe" usb - charge bin\StandardInstall\BlackBerryWidget1.cod
  (5) the successful deployment of the widget is displayed in the device downloads folder
  (6) but here's the problem, when I click on the icon of the widget, nothing happens, the widget does not start and I get no error message, nothing.

  I am that maybe my widget has a problem, so I tried to create and deploy a small widget HelloWorld rather (without any access to the feature/authorization), but I get the same result, it does not start.

I love the software Configfree came with the laptop and noticed that it can detect the Bluetooth connections and wi - fi, but it works with pre-installed bluetooth devices.   Sorry, as far as I know it is not possible using ConfigFree with a 3rd party Bluetooth card! You can not install it I the tool so that it is not detected!

• Device not receiving push notifications

  I'm trying to use push essentials.  All my messages received a '1001' with a description of:

  "The request has been accepted for processing, but the final outcome is not yet known. This code is used in response to a request to indicate that the message was received by the PPG and seems to be well formed and valid. »

• Widget deployment problem

  Each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. If this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.

  See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

• Interactions of YouTube widget does not work in Cp7

  I was still not able to take advantage of the new functionality of the widget YouTube pre-built Interaction. When I try to test the YouTube video in the dialog box, I get a 404 not found error message. • Access denied on USB drives

  I just bought a new HP ProBook 450 G1... running Windows 7... I inserted a USB stick to copy some of the files on my another computer and got the Windows Messgae "You have currently access to open this folder", then I press the button "continue' and get the message"you have refused permission to access this folder", and he says"to access this folder, you use the Security tab.

  I click on the link to the 'security' tab, but there is not any tab 'security' in the Properties menu for the flash player.

  It was the pre-installed "HP Device Manager" causing the denied access.

  For some reason, as a first step, good ball messages were not disaplayed, but later, after a few restart, I noticed the message.

  So I uninstalled it and I now access external drives... of course do not need that hassle to enter my password every time I attach a flash or external hard drive driver (and it only giving me access for 15 minutes).

  Maybe there is a way to change the settings in the HP Device Manager... but people don't have the time!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  UH... what? I don't understand the correlation. Delete and re - integrating an e-mail account has nothing to do with making a backup via LINK. So I don't understand why you can't do it.

  I'm sure there are other threads... but the fundamental question is if you have made the upgrade to Win10 with LINK installed, then you need very clean (which is a manual procedure of the entries in registry, folders, hidden directories, etc.) remove all traces of the BB software, then reinstall from scratch. Others have succeeded with that, so we know that it works.
