WiFi card driver will not install for dv6 11nr 6 c

then I tried to install from Device Manager, on the site of hp on the realtek site, on the site of ralink and nothing. I don't know even what adapter I have because all this says is "network controller". When I try to install it from the Device Manager it does nothing. When I try to install the downloaded drivers, he did his thing then said that it has not installed correctly, and it will keep saying that.  Maybe it's bad drivers?

Thank you!

Hello:

According to the list of parts for your model, it has a PCIe adapter half minicards (HMC) WiFi Realtek 8188GN.

The driver you need is not on the page support and driver for your model, which is why you are struggling to find the right driver for the wireless card.

Therefore, you need the driver for this card:

  • network controller driver will not install on pavilion dv7-6c20us

After a new installation of Windows 7 64 bit, I was passing by and install all the drivers.  I can't get WiFi to work, it says the pilot "cannot properly installed.»  The wired LAN Controller and all other drivers seem to install, very good, but not wireless.  (I've tried a few)

Also, I went into the BIOS (which I've read here to try) to disable the saving of LAN, but this option was not there for me.

OK, I got it working.  I actually found some real advice on Yahoo Answers (I know, right?)

The driver who ended the work is here: support1.toshiba-tro.de/tools/updates/realtek-wlan/realtek_wlan_win7_2000016L_20110523.zip

These are the instructions that I followed:

You first need to know what model of network card you have in your system.
If you are using the network card on the motherboard, then you need to install the drivers for your motherboard CD.

If the network adapter is a PCI card, you must:

    1. right click on MY COMPUTER then click MANAGE
    2. open the Device Manager and right click on 'Network controller' (should appear with a yellow question mark) and then click Properties.
    3. go to the tab "Détails" and you should see "Device Instance Id" and below, you should have something like this:

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8168 & SUBSYS...

The parts that interest you are the codes after "VEN_" and "DEV_".

In my case, the codes are 10EC and 8168.
Go to www.pcidatabase.com and look up the first code (vendor code).
Click on the name of the vendor and search (CTRL + F) for the device code.
There you should find the model name and number of your network adapter. You can then search for drivers.

For example: search for PROVIDER 10EC and you should find:

    Realtek Semiconductor

Click on the name of the seller and on the page that displays search 8168 and you should find:

    Chip number: RTL8168/8111
Description of the chip: Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
Notes: DRIVER for XP PRO SERVICE PACK 2

  • My HP Photosmart C309g printer driver will not install on my laptop.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit. When I try to install the driver for my printer C309g (pilot of the basic functionality or complete) installation hangs during the first phase. Actually, the installation closes and disappears without any error message or explanation. When I tried to use the installation of HP software, he kept just the driver download and try to install it again and again.

I tried the fixes on this site: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00836418 I turned off finish it and stay programs and disabled the firewall.

The most frustrating is that the computer can print a test page for the HP diagnostic tool and other computers and my iPad will be printed (using eprint on the iPad), but I really need THIS computer to print.

    Hello klucot.

During the first phases of installation, there are a screen that allows you to configure your Internet options, which allows you to choose if you want to find the driver updates before you install the driver or not. Select that you do not want to search for updates and installation will pass.

  • My laptop says that my wireless card driver is not installed?

I had to reinstall my OS about three weeks ago because my laptop crashed. The wireless card works perfectly until I reinstalled. I reinstalled each program and the driver delivered with the laptop, but my wireless card still does not work. I even tried to go to the dell website and download the driver from their site, but it still does not work. Can anyone help?

No, you do not have something wrong unless Dell offers more than one wireless adapter for your model and you download the wrong drivers. No doubt the computer works now, Yes? The error description you gave indicates hardware problems, not problems of software. So maybe your wireless adapter is defective and contact technical support Dell's next. • OfficeJet Pro 8615: driver will not install windows 10

Upgrade to Windows 10 windows 8.1.  Printer worked fine for a while.  The 8/30 began to have problems with printing.  Since then, have run print and scan doctor, installation software and follow all the steps detailed on the support site several times but nothing has fixed the problem.  Indeed, after you uninstall as recommended during this process, the pilot don't reinstall it not. I tried to run the full driver package, the base driver package and method of windows driver.  It is very frustarting.  I've exhausted all possible solutions on the support site.  I need to know what to look for and the steps needed to install this driver properly and restore the ability to print.  Please help before I think it necessary to change Epson or Lexmark.

Thanks for getting back to me. Knowing that the printer will install properly on a another computer told us there is probably something on the current PC is blocking the installation of installation (the printer itself is fine). Alternatively, you can try to disable the firewall or security programs you have temporarily while you try to install the printer on the computer to see if this will allow to complete the installation.

Just to add: make sure that the printer is on the same network as the PC you install it on. Find the printers IP address in the menu wireless printers and type the IP address in a web browser on your PC. You should be able to access the built-in web server printers if the printer and PC are on the same network.

Here are some steps more to try it too:

    Step 1: Uninstall the device:

Just because it is possible that a part of the software package and the pilot has made its way on your computer, I have to you find and remove the installation of the computer files.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Click on all programs
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select HP Officejet
    5. Select Uninstall
    6. Click on the Start menu
    7. Select the devices and printers
    8. Click on any device once in the file devices and printers just to highlight. Then click on the print server properties at the top of the window

    9. click on the drivers tab

    10. click on your driver HP Officejet

    11 select Remove downstairs

    12. in the window Remove Driver and package click delete the driver only , and then select OK

13 click on apply then OK in the print server properties window

    14. close devices and printers

Please proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Unlock hidden system administrator account:

    1. Click on the Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD
    2. CMD will fill as a search above, option just right click on it and "run as administrator"
    3. CMD (command prompt) opens, type net user administrator / Active: Yes and press enter

    on your keyboard
  • Next, close CMD, then restart your computer
  • When your computer is on the newspaper in the new account which should show. It will be called administrator , and you have a password on it.
  • If your computer automatically connects to your account after reboot to go into your Start menu, click the arrow next to 'shutdown' and choose 'switch user'. Now log in the administrator account.
  • Under the administrator account, please click here to download the package full feature software and driver of your printer.
  • Once the download is complete, follow the instructions on the screen to install your printer
  • Once installation is complete, please open the HP Solution Center software to confirm the scan software opens and works correctly
  • If software HP Solution Center now works very well, please log out of the account administrator and return to your normal user account.
  • Under your user account, the full-function software package and the printer driver must show completely installed. Please click on the HP Solution Center icon to confirm if it always opens correctly. If HP Solution Center opens very well please run a test scan to confirm functionality.
  • If the HP Solution Center software works very well, you need to hide the administrator account.

Step 3: Hide the system administrator account:

    1. Go to your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD
    2. CMD will fill as a search above, option just right click on it and "run as administrator"
    3. CMD (command prompt) opens, type net user administrator / active: No. and press enter
    4. Next, close CMD, then restart your computer
    5. When your computer turns on it please test the software HP Solution Center again to confirm that everything works again according to normal.

Let me know the results of these steps, good luck!

  • HP driver will not install. OfficeJet 4500 G510 n. z. Windows 7 64-bit.

    Hi guys,.

I'm trying to re - install the HP driver but when I try it tells me that everything is already installed, but it is not!

Because of your Pc a few weeks ago, I used system restore in Windows 7 and after re starting the printer would not print.

I uninstalled all the HP software and re started. Windows then installed his own drivers and all works fine but I want to have the use of the complete HP driver, for example, so I don't know how much ink I have left.

My printer is displayed in "Devices and printers" and has a green check mark against it.

There is no part of HP programs listed in the configuration/programs and features Control Panel.

There is no HP folder in Solution Explorer.

I tried the dianostics HP software, but he can't 'see' my printer even though it is switched on!

My printer is connected by USB. I tried to change the cable port, but it makes no difference.

Someone at - it suggestions as to how I can re - install the driver HP?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello chewboy.

    1. disconnect the USB cable to the back of the printer (if USB plugged). Insert the CD in the drive.

    2. browse through the folders to find Util/CCC and locate the Uninstall_L4.bat file. Double-click it.

    3. wait until all is uninstalled.

4 restart the computer and try to install from beginning again.

    Bravo!
