  I suggest you try to analyze the file from the following location:

  2 Locate and double click on hpqsciapp.exe to activate the scanning application.

  Method 2:

  3. go to the printer manufacturer's website and search for a compatible with your version of Windows printer driver.
  4. follow the instructions on the site to download and install the driver.

  My Photosmart d110 series will be constantly stuck on "Scanning"... "whenever I scan of either the touch screen or my computer.  I used doctor scanning HP many times, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and the drivers, restarted my router, unplugged and plugged in and restarted my computer back.  I'm seriously running out of options here.  If something escapes me, please let me know.  I'll be grateful for any help.

  I use Microsoft Windows 7/64-bit on a minitour Convertible HP Compaq dc7900 computer.

  Dc110 series is connected via wifi.

  Thanks for getting back to me! I think that it might be a scanner unit failure. Try the steps in the guide below and if the problem persists, I'd say you're looking at a new unit. You can contact HP to their contact information to see on a trade in option with them if you wish.

  My C6180 will not scan more than one page from the charger. After it scans a page will scan others by using 'add page '. I would analyze all the pages since the charger without manually add pages. I'm used to be able to do. Help, please.  Thank you.

  • How is the printer connected, wireless, Ethernet or USB?

  • What is the operating system you use, Windows or Mac? What version?

  I am running Windows 7, I just replaced a photosmart c6180 with a Photosmart C7280.  The C7280 will not scan.

  When I use the Solution center, the analysis shows a black with no document screen as someone forgot to turn on the light.

  I tried printing and scanning utility, he said I was missing a update on the Solutions Center.  I loaded it and I still have

  have the same problem.  The printing and scanning utility now works without error throughout.  Until I loaded the C7280

  software I removed all software C6180.  I did some research and found that I should use a scrubber to get rid of all the

  the previous software.   I found a list of what it takes in hp support forum 1380995 and followed to the letter.

  I still have the problem. I'm on a 32-bit computer.

  I am more able to scan documents on my printer Hp Photosmart D110A. I use Mac OS X portable 10.7.5 version. It is connected wireless and I am able to print.

  When I get up and walk on my printer, I select SCAN > SCAN TO PC and I get the error message: TRY to SCAN from which SEE COMPUTER DOCUMENTATION.

  When I open HP Scan on my laptop, I click on the button SCAN. He says then PREPARING to SCAN. Then he said: SCANNER COMMUNICATION CANNOT BE ESTABLISHED. THE PRINTER IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILIABLE. ENSURE THAT YOUR DEVICE IS TURNED ON, CHECK THE CONNECTION AND MAKE SURE THAT YOUR NETWORK IS WORKING PROPERLY. IF THESE CONDITIONS ARE CORRECT, RESTART THE DEVICE AND TRY TO SCAN THE IMAGE.

  I restart my printer and it will not scan. Nothing wrong with my internet connection. Previously, before I had scanning problems, my wireless on my printer button was flashing and I couldn't print wireless. I uninstalled the software from my laptop and remove the printer.   After you download the HP driver online once again, I went to HP utility (I had to add my printer again going up in system preferences > Add button > IP and enter my IP address).

  In the HP utility I cliked the name of my printer under devices, then on the right side I cliked the additional settings under settings of the printer.

  Then, I clicked on the embedded Web Server Open button.

  My web browser opens and it is the HP embedded Web server for my printer. I clicked the Scan button and the scanned image.

  You will then need to right click to save the image, and it allows to print wireless.

  So after a few days of trial and error my scanning has been fixed.

  My Deskjet 4500 G510g-m will not scan to PDF. The Solution Center does not show a scanning pane. Printing HP and Scan Doctor indicates that an update is required for the Cener Solution, however, the update link goes to an update to the Pro 8500 and the update will not be installed for this printer.   I noticed that your HP Officejet 4500 will not scan to PDF on Windows 7, and I am happy to help you with this problem of scanning!

  I recommend the following solutions:

  • Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
  • Re-install using the printer HP install wizard for Windows.

  Will not scan new Officejet 8600 all-in-one.  7, 62 bit, computer operating system Dell.  A ran HP print and Scan doctor.  Upon arrival of the pilot, had me unplug the printer, then restart the computer.  Upon restart, received message "this tool could not solve the problem, even after a reboot.  Go to the HP customer care for help to solve this problem.  Function copy and printer works.  Connected by USB only.  Help, please.   No problem.  I'm always happy to help you.  Looks like you might be on the right track with the cable.  What you are discribing it seems it's a communication problem, more of a problem with the drivers.  Make sure that you do not use a USB cable that is more than 6 feet (2 m).  Anything more than that and the loss of signal can cause problems like this.  Let me know what happens.
