Win Server 2003 Sp2, "port 808 is in use"

I tried to install Oracle XE 11.2 (after the abduction of Oracle XE 10.2) and I get this error "Port 808 is in use... ", but I get this error for any port I choose...

How to solve this problem?

  • ESX 4.1, Win Server 2003, ESET NOD32 Server Admin

    Greetings!

I moved my ESET NOD32 physical server so that it became a virtual machine running on ESX v4.1

I used the VShpere customer, importing machine tools to achieve this.

My virtual machine sees the network and the internet very well and has

no significant errors in the server log.  It is currently running Win serv 2003.

My ESET NOD32 client machines (PC, servers) now States, the server cannot be contacted.

We will use the default port, 2223 for admin server for example.

The Windows Firewall is DISABLED on the server of ESET NOD32.

Is there something in ESX / VSphere that prevents certain ports to be used? A place for 'open port '?

    RSVP

    Thanks in advance...

Checking configuration of the customer as a client to connect to the ADI of server - name or ip address, verify a network connection to the server (ping), also check the status of the blink of an eye on the Server service.

ESXi is not any firewall between VM and the rest of the network.

  • Win server 2003 machine starts file system error

My Win Server 2003 has suddenly got a C:\Windows\System32\system file is missing or corrupt error. We were able to replace the file in the repair folder and got the server up and running.

However, Active Directory seems to have disappeared. The server has not yet a domain listed in AC. All entries are simply not there.
How is it possible and how can pick us up or recreate AC? A backup copy of the AC, unfortunately, had not been done.
    Any help is appreciated.

Once the converter VMware-converter-en - 5.5.1 - 1682692 does not work, with a touch of friend uninstall the 5.5 version of Converter Standalone Client, look for the VMware converter version - 4.0.0 - 146302 and install this version to the other machine. No not that I had to be Converter, but the windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

  • WIN server 2003 and CF administrator

I installed my server. Another is running WIN Server 2003 instead of the old Server 2000. I upgraded to 8.0 with all patches. I'm currently running Sun Java 6 (update 3). When I click a button 'Browse' in the cgi Director the browser closes. The fix for this knowledge?

The problem turned out to be the Java JRE version. I uninstalled Java 6 and installed 1.4.05 and the problem solved.

  • Impossible to set up WDS on Server 2003 SP2

    Hey guys,.

Im trying to install WDS on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 computer.

This machine has been mounted from WS03 R2 SP2 cd and had 2 hard drives (C: / D: /). He is a member of the domain and the domain has an active DHCP server.

I have install WDS and reboot the computer. I am running the WDS tool and I can see that my server is there but not configured.

I run the Setup and get to the point where he asks me where I want to put my images. I select D:\images fresh hard disk and click Next.

It of been there for about 1 minute then pops up an error saying "the volume label, file name or directory name is invalid" error Santax. I then tried to do the same but using C:\images nothing helps.

I ran the WDS Legacy system and it worked. Jumped a WS03 R2 SP2 disk into the drive and it passes through perfectly.

I can see that the files have been created on the D drive.

I look back in the WDS snap and I see that the server must always be configured. I have run the command line "/ get-AllServers" and it also shows its not configured.

So I try to run the Setup again. This time the path/directory is dimmed by the same path that I walked into the old system. It also says below that I can not change that the system already uses this for WDS.

I click Next. but I still get the same error.

    Any ideas?

    See you soon
