Try Ctrl + Alt + Delete, select Task Manager, and then click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge, which is the Total, limit, and the pic?

You should be able to gather more information from the Task Manager. With
processes tab open Select display, select, columns and tick off the boxes
before the maximum memory usage and virtual memory size. What are the numbers
for the 6 process using larger quantities?

Is that what your free computer error?

Take a look in the system and the Application records in Event Viewer for

Shockwave flash is causing crashes giving the message 'firefox is not responding' and slows down my internet experience. I know it's the add-on flash because when I disable it, firefox works much better. I tried all the suggestions concerning problems of flash on this site and nothing worked. I am running win 7 64 bit (Home premium). In addition, Firefox 36.0.1. All the drivers seem to be aware, but I'll check.

My question is... is it possible to easily disable/enable flash without going into the Add-ons Manager? According to what I'm doing, I'm in crashes and Add-ons for him Manager allow either when I need it or disable it when firefox is slow.

I've gotten to the point where I just open add-on Manager in a tab and the leave it open because I know I'll probably be in there turn flash on or off depending on the way in which its make my machine.

Also, I tried flash running in mode 'request to activate', but you must reload the page so that it can find the add-on.

This problem has been ongoing for a few months now; Performance of Firefox was so much better, but this problem does not appear to be resolved. I love firefox, I really want to go to a different browser.

    Please ignore the above answer!

One of the reasons frequent slow script errors are the feature of mode of the Flash player plugin. The Protected Mode feature has safety benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. You can turn it off by creating or modifying a parameter file. • Install Firefox 31 point 8.1 of Windows just gives a blank screen and the error "not responding".

31 Firefox has been installed and works perfectly on my Asus laptop under win 8.1, until this morning. I opened the browser and just got a white screen. The Task Manager showed Firefox as "not responding". I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice, as an administrator, try 'reset Firefox' the second time. No change. I downloaded Firefox 29 and could install. It opens but freezes and unresponsive, as soon as I get a web address. I'm stumped, as Firefox worked perfectly until this morning. Someone had the same problem and, better yet, found a solution?

It could be the work of one of your modules, or even add / bad-ware.
Look through your list of modules and make sure you know what each of them is
and what it does. In addition, to check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > uninstall programs.
    Mac: Open the folder "Applications".
    Linux:

    • Ubuntu unity {web link}
    • Xfce: Category for the Applications Menu items
    • options depends on the package and the desktop environment Manager

I got disabling the system restore, so I can't go back to a good version.

Turn off the system restore makes things much more difficult. Your problem is probably due to an inappropriate registry setting. You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. You may reset your password to an earlier value.

Check the date of the file C:\Windows\System32\config\regback\System. It precedes the date when you became aware of your problem? If so, follow these steps:

    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.

    2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this.

3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.

    4. Select repair when prompted.

    5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this.

    6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
    I'll call this "Q:" drive
    7 type these commands exactly:
    CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    8 type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

I have problems with animation character "not responding" during the launch. All new win 8.1 installation - AE seems to work very well. • Problem starting el capitan (sierra) - built-in keyboard and the mouse do not respond

    Hello

I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

later, I delivered safe and I had the same problem again. I did the thing to be able to restart again and improved to sierra in the hope that it would disappear. However, the problem is still there.

I thought I could try to restart my office to see if my keyboard and wireless mouse would still work. Indeed, even if responsiveness was not normal, I could unlock and fill the chest.

I have the impression that my laptop always "believe" it is on my desk, linked to my screen (probably the reason why I don't hear the Bell) and to my wireless K & M.

It's really annoying and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you very much

    best,

    Alex

I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.

    Hello

  • Kindle book pages translate Amazon "not responding".

Since the update to FF43, Windows Vista, I get a message "Not responding" whenever I visit a web page on Amazon.com that contains the information of product for a Kindle book. For example, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0189WSN9K/.

I even tried to start FireFox in safe mode and got the same result. I also tried after logging on Amazon, first.

When I pull up the Task Manager, it shows FireFox with about 25% of the available CPU resources, and the amount of memory used just constantly increases. I let it run for about an hour before ending, and he went from about 350 KB to 3 MB of memory. I suspect that it is in some kind of loop...?

If I hit ESC at the right time, to stop the page loading, I get a web page that appears complete and functional. But if I'm too late, I just need to put an end to FireFox and restart. Too soon, and I need to try to load the web page again. Usually, it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to get the result "is not responding.

Others with FF43 told me that they do not have a problem with the web page of the example I gave above. And it works fine for me in Chrome.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

It is no longer a problem. A later update of FireFox fixed it or Amazon changed something on their site.
