win xp SP3 installed then blue screens at boot

Desktop Dell, have care about me, ran an update to SP3 last night and this morning, after whenever I turn on it blue screens, can't even get into safe mode.  blue screen error IRQ less or not equal or less than or equal.

Any advice?

Thank you

You can try deacclerating the video card if its not a chip, I did it on a few when I got a blue screen after service pack 3 installs, then after deacclerating graphics, get the driver for the card, it is something that I found worked, i.e. If it has an attached video card, if not, disabled ime

I want to create a virtual machine using VMWare Converter 4.0 from an Acronis True Image to ESXi Server 3i .tib backup file. The conversation seems to be working, but when I try to start the virtual machine, it begins to start, displays the Windows 2003 splash screen briefly and then fails with a blue screen with the following error:

    STOP: 0X0000007B (0XFFFFFADFD520F3C0, 0XFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0 X 0000000000000000, 0 X 0000000000000000)

Looking through the forums I've seen this error mentioned with 64-bit Windows 2003, but no mention of 32-bit?

    Any help much appreciated.

    > Thanks, unfortunately the .tib Acronis True image files do not work with Converter 3.0.3

You already have a virtual computer that start - it's just bluescreens - so no need to run the full convert again.

Juist use Converter 3.0.3 to configure the virtual machine - part seemed to have failed

NOW it's sad/mad/nutz out hey? Sorry, but it seems that Dell does not provide a quality service for you. They have to replace their machine
with a new one that is fully functional and you shouldn't accept anything less. 3 weeks and they did not
fixed a new machine is excessive. Climbing with Dell and recover your money or a new.

  • Registry problems cause hard disk by clicking on, then blue screen

Dell support said the clicking hard drive and next blue screen is caused by a registry error. In order to solve a problem of major virus and start over, I have completely reformatted the hard drive and installed the operating system and other programs, so I can't understand why I always have a registry problem.  Although I can not specify the exact moment, it seems to happen after an update of Windows, but also occurs at random.  It would also be the installation of MS Office 2010, because I do not remember what happens before the 2010 Windows Installer.  I read that registry cleaners do not work, so I am at a loss for what to do. What I don't understand is how the registry is damaged when all that I've done is install everything from scratch.  I have a Dell Dimension 5100 running Windows XP Home Edition w/SP3.

    Hi LiveToFish,

    1. What is the problem on the computer after reinstalling Windows?

    2. don't you still get the errors blue screen on the computer? If so, then what is the message on the blue screen?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

If the previous step fails, then check the event viewer to determine the cause of the blue screen on the computer and post back with the details.

Basically to keep things simple when the Realteck driver ac97 is installed or / and when it is not extinguished my laptop usually start past the login screen.

Anyone has a solution please help me.

    Hello

Usually, when you use the restore for the installation of the OS CD everything should work correctly on condition that all hardware components are not defective. After the installation of recovery, it is not necessary to install anything.

Please just check the status of audio device in Device Manager, call the sound settings and the volume control on the left side for laptop. Ensure that the sound is not set to mute.

If possible please give us more information on all that after the installation of recovery.

  • Boot camp Win 7 0 x 34 blue screen during windows startup after the restoration with the image of the system.

The hard drive on the Macbook pro was repartioned, all the boot camp and other drivers updated and Windows installed from the installation DVD. All the Windows updates available from 2012 (installation disc is 2012) until today have been installed and Boot camp 5.1 with all its drivers installed. AppleHFS.sys/AppleMNT.sys are used to allow access to filesystems OSX JHFS +. Restoring Windows on Mac backups can be painful. If you have already fresh install of W7 on the internal drive, try the restore without installing any driver BC. Please be aware that such a restore is not aware of the partitions on your internal drive and can erase your internal drive.

  • Games then blue screen

This is true about all the games that I played recently l4d, Dawn of War 1 & 2, Starcraft 1, Supreme Commander, Fallout 3, etc. In any case the game will be blue screen after about 15 to 20 minutes of play, but in the case of l4d when I load the next card, regardless of how long is the card. The blue screen indicates that the video device driver has failed to restart and expired. He suggests filming of caching and always share both of which have been disabled. When I'm back in windows system error check for a patch that says updated my video driver that are up to date. I also tried to go back to an older driver, but who did not help either.
I checked for virus McAffee and some antivirus specialized for certain viruses that he would not find.
One of my friends suggest maybe overheating but heat lvls at full load are 56 c on the cpu and 45 c on the Mo as for not sure video blue screen occurred as low as 50 on the cpu and C 41 on MB.

My system specs are as follows:
Vista Ultimate 64-bit operating system (SP2 I have all updates as of 09/06/2009)
    AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 6000 + 3 Ghz
2 GB of Ram (I know I should be around 4)
    Graphics card is a NVIDIA 9800 GX2

And no, I don't have any OC, did not push him hot with Air cooling.

    * edit I forgot to add to this started around 09/06/2009 just after installing the latest patches, (not the latest drivers installed about 2 weeks prior to the updated player date windows is the 30/04/2009 version of the 8.15.11.8585, the last 185.85_desktop_winvista_64bit_english_whql registered driver will not be installed. I'm short of formatting the whole Machine atm. *

Thanks for replying Gloria, but it is the resolved last night by the two GPU cracking. Apperently the GPU where in the process of cracking and the blue of the screens where just the sign of this happening. What cause overheating, it could be the faulty design of the heatsink / fan used on the 9800 GX2.

  • Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has recovered successfully after sleep, and then blue screen

original title: display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has recovered successfully after sleep, then BSOD.

Well, if not some time ago, we got a Nvidia GeForce 240GT video card. We used an ATI Radion 3460 I think and it worked normally. Then when we got the nVidia card, we started to see the problems. Occasionally, he would show the blue screen of death. I tried to reproduce the error and came to an interesting conclusion. Whenever I put the computer in sleep mode turn off mode 'sleep', I wait a bit and then the login screen appears. I connect and it shows me the "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and was recovered successfully. Then after that, if I go on YouTube and try to watch a video, the computer hangs and a BSOD would leap upward. I am angry. I used "standby mode" so and with the new map video, everything got worse. I tested this problem on Windows Vista and 7. And btw, the drivers are up-to-date, I made sure the driver nvlddmkm himself file is up-to-date, and temperatures are perfect.

update the drivers from NVIDIA. Also make sure that your power supply is powerful enough to handle the new nVIDIA card. "A programmer is just a tool that converts the caffeine in code" Deputy CLIP - http://www.winvistaside.de/

My phone displays the Windows 7 login screen very well.

After I login, I see the desktop and icon and it flashes a couple times with a gray screen.

Next, I get a blue screen and restart the computer.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

The fact that it works well in Safe Mode, more points to a problem with the video chip.  Unfortunately the video card (called a card or a built-in chip) is physically soldered to the motherboard.

    That's what I would recommend.

As you can access the safemode, make a copy of backup all your important files, etc.  Then try to reinstall the operating system or your discs recovery or Partition of HARD drive - if you still have the same problem, you could be quite certain that it is not software partner.  As I mentioned earlier, if you could possibly connect the laptop to an external display and you still get this problem, you could then be confident that the problem is with the video card - in this case, see the link below.  The page does not mention your particular model, but it can be useful in communicating with the guys.

  • CHK DSK/r & CHK DSK/p does not solve blue screen UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME... any suggestions?

Hi, need help please. After an update of windows, there was a couple of error message on my computer, and then one day, he came with a blue screen at the beginning by saying "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME". OK, I googled and he said everywhere to have an installation CD (which I have) and then perform the CHK DSK/r, CHK DSK/p or CHK DSK/r/p that I did all 3. Then I typed in FIXBOOT c:... ok, well... seemed so I typed in the output. Blue screen again! He tried again and again without success. I would NOT be this format... we have a lot of customer files on this computer... ANYTHING else out there to try? I can't find any other information. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you...!

Hello - there was only 1 partition, and I think I know what it was. It was see the external hard drive - which I NOT formatted and works very well - and now that I have disconnected, he says "hard drive not found '. Now, I can not format the main computer! Should I rehook it? I just don't want this external hard drive to be formatted. How to format my computer (since CHK DSK does not work) with the CD? I just get the message 'cannot see the hard drive. Thanks for your help.

N ° not re - hang. In fact, you must disconnect all devices from the computer except for your keyboard and your mouse. This includes, but is not limited to, your printer, card readers or other devices other than your cd rom of course media.

The error you receive is probably due to your SATA controller driver is not being installed. Restart the computer and enter the bios. See if you can find the option to disable the AHCI or RAID and IDE SATA (SATA/PATA) emulation mode. Windows should detect your hard drive.

Finally, if you are unable to find the option to turn off the AHCI/RAID mode, provide me the full brand and the model number of your computer.
