  • Windows 7 Home Premium with invalid Code of Activation in the virtual environment

I have a PC with Windows 7 Home Premium, I could get the Product Code of Magic Jelly Bean KeyFinder.  I created a Virtualbox Win7 environment to test the code for what should I have to rebuild my computer I have everything properly.  Although I enter the code correctly when I try to activate it says that is not valid.  Is it because I'm under a system with it already running with the same product code that it does not work properly? Or something else?

If your intention is to rebuild the desktop, why would need to test the activation code to see if it works, when it is currently working on the host itself? I can understand the Windows 7 Home Premium assessment in the virtual environment, but the idea of the code itself, no.

If its already active in the host, then that means it works.

If Home Premium from Windows 7 is pre-installed on the host itself, the code that you use cannot be used to activate Windows 7 elsewhere.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press F8 on the keyboard until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

If it is a retail license and you need to reactivate Windows 7 Home Premium if you reinstall from scratch, you can still use phone activation:

  • Installed Home Premium, but would like my old Windows Ultimate product key...

So, I got this laptop I use customized online, it's a clevo p150 I believe... and it came with Windows Ultimate...

Failure of my hard drives last year and I had to start. I could not find my product key, so I used an old Vista CD I got from my last laptop that came with a free upgrade to Win 7 Home Premium. Now, I want to clean my own system again, and I want to install the ultimate which accompanies this origin,... However, I don't know where to find this product key.

How can I go about it? And thanks for any help that can be offered.

Yes, the product keys are stored in the BIOS of our days, but unfortunately, it's for Windows 8 or 8.1 only and not available in Windows 7.

A few years ago, I bought a laptop with Windows 7 Home prem OA. Earlier this year the computer crashed, and I downloaded a new windows 7 by using the same product key. The version is containing a large number of viruses etc...

I have no knowledge where to download a windows 7 own, can someone help please?

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • Cannot switch to WIN7 Home Premium to WIN7 Professional

All trying to solve a problem with Windows Update will not download updates, I fear that a cleaner spyware I used at the time, this problem occurred firstly has deleted some registry information (and I thought that that may have caused problems with Windows Update), so I decided to try upgrading my Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional (64 bit).  I have the DVD upgrade, because a year or two ago I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 from Windows XP.  When this desktop computer began to die a slow death, I uninstalled Windows of the player and the computer put on the scrap heap.  With this update has been successfully uninstalled, I thought that I could use it to upgrade my Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM came on my laptop which I use exclusively now), but when I tried, installing told me I could do only either a "custom installation" that would have wiped out any and all other programs and files on the laptop , or use the Express upgrade.  When I tried the Express upgrade, he initially asked me my product key I then typed in and validity verified, began the upgrade process and then told me that he could not put to Home Premium upgrade to the professional version, even if also seem to indicate that he might.  Maybe that's a problem with my Windows 7 Upgrade DVD that was used before and the product key being somehow in the system as "being used?"  If so, what are my options?

  • Pavilion dv7t-4000 laptop: AMD HDMI port on the computer laptop dv7 is lost after free trial Win10 returns to Win7 Home Premium edition

My laptop was purchased in sept 2010 and runs Win7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit).

It worked perfectly until June 2016, when the trial version free odious Win10 forced itself on my laptop.  I had no choice, I used Win10 for a day or 2 and then discovered that:

    (1) I lost the audio capability, HDMI port, I use to connect to my TV, and

    (2) the Win10 trial enabled me to return on Win7, I did without delay.

In my Win 7 restored, everything was fine, except when I have her go in Control Panel to configure / reconfigure HDMI as the default, I couldn't - the element used to appear as "AMD HDMI Audio" is no longer displayed.  I remember a message during the free trial period Win10 that says it has disabled any material incompatible.  Without a doubt, Win10 free trial 'killed' this HDMI/device port, at least audio-wise.

Today, I always run the same Win7, but I can't have audio HDMI on this port.  When I connect to my TV, the video works.  Win7 Device Manager it shows with an exclamation in yellow, and when I right click to get more details, there is a message saying Microsoft:

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52).

Is there a way to 'get it '?  'this' is AMD HDMI audio.  (and wthout spoil the graphics - that is, video)

I tried to install the drivers provided by AMD [graphics] and that did not work. The Internet from AMD website says that the audio drivers are included in the package for graphics drivers.  There is also a huge confusion in the way these low level items are named/described: ATI and AMD, because they have merged, were used somewhat interchangeably.  I also tried the graphics drivers AMD HP Support Web site specific to my laptop and it has only gotten worse.

Thank you for your kind attention.

    Hi @ RTX,

Awesome response. I read the details and depth of your post. I understand that the bios is updated. So you could end up with this update.

Happens to the other updates. This will be the order.

    1. Uninstalling the driver Chipset and resettlement.

2 reinstalling and uninstalling graphics drivers

    3. uninstall the sound drivers and reinstall.

Before uninstalling, you can try to update the drivers supplied by device also Manager and if that market that will be great. Please, do it only if you don't have already done.

  • Update Win7 Home Premium 32-bit to Win7 Home Premium 64-bit

I just bought a Thinkpad X 201 comes preinstalled with Win7 Home Premium 32 - bit installed and I prefer to run the 64-bit version. Is it possible that I can get the DVD (s) necessary economically and the current product on my laptop key will validate the 64-bit version? I understand that this will require a clean install, but as MS normally provides both 32-bit and 64-bit win7 version with it games standard OEM hoped that Lenovo could provide me DVD (s) you need to little or no costs (delivery?).

Hi DrMike9 and welcome to the Lenovo user community!

You can do it! See this support page:

    I hope this helps!

  • reinstalled win7 Home premium, need product key

Hello, as in the title, I have reinstalled my laptop with win7 home prem who which was preinstalled when you bought the computer and as you know with a new installation, ask your product key.
Well, many people probably have the same problem as me, the sticker of windows security on computer background with the product key to this topic has disappeared.
the copy of windows 7 Home premium that I use is a bootleg copy that I download from some torrent sites, I know that it's ok because I used it to reinstall the other computers, and then using the product keys for computers.

as far as I know or have been told by a tech guy that fixs for a large company named computers is that the product key is engraved somewhere on motherboards memory and can be retrieved.
does any 1 know how to retrieve the product key of this way of the motherboard.

any help or advice would be welcome, thank you.

    Hello

Your product key is not engraved on the memory of the motherboard in Windows 7

You need the COA sticker with the product key, but it's faded away.

Your choice is now limited in what you can do without having to buy a new product/license key.

    Because Windows 7 is pre-installed:

You can contact the manufacturer of your laptop and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

The installation of the "pirated" copy process may have ruined this option

If you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery on the hard drive Partition to reinstall Windows 7 back to the way in which you bought your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

The methods above resettlement generally do not require allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

    See you soon.

  • I bought (detail) and use Win7 Home Premium on my computer at home. Is it permissible to install the operating system on a second computer at home?

How many computers can I install win7 Home premium, commercial version?

the key that can be used with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 is designed to drive 1. You cannot use install both. 1 license, 1 installation, so choose wisely. If you want to install Windows 7 32 or 64 bit on another partition or another computer, you must purchase an additional license.

  • .i did not make a full backup, because I bought my laptop. I use win7 Home premium 64-bit

I checked forums, tried Mr. difficulty, used usb and dvd rom and it still says not enough space and also I can only use tools hp (drive f) or g (dvd player) drive as an option for backup space. Ive tried to change the options for many times... I did a full backup since I bought my laptop. I use win7 Home premium 64-bit.  backup of files recall comes on the other constantly.anybody I have this problem?

I suggest avoid you the Windows backup program and you get a good commercial backup program. This forum meets for a windows problem reports. I know that I was very impressed when I tried it. Three I'm familiar with and like Norton Ghost (which I use for 8 years no 1 problem), Easeus Todo Backup free, you can download it from

http://www.TODO-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm and Memeo , which has 30 day free trial and you can buy it for $29.99 - you can download it from http://memeo.com . You can get Ghost for almost nothing (like me), if you look at the sales.

The March 2012 issue of PC World is very high on the program FREE of Easeus and I tested it recently in a variety of configurations; and must say that I am very impressed. As Ghost will support up to a network drive and it will create a bootable CD for when your PC does not start. See commentary to PC World to

CNET has a lot of reviews of backup program to

    http://download.cnet.com/windows/backup-software/?tag=contentBody;sideBar .

Some of them are free (the last time I checked there over 300), some have free trials (more), and some are buying only (more than 200).

External hard drives are the best for backup. You can get a 500 GB one for $70 and a 1.5 to one for about $90. You can also buy a flash drive of 32 GB for less than $20. It is the best insurance you can buy ever!
