Windows 10 forces himself to stop the installation of programs?

Hi, my friend (the problems) has an iMac to 4K of 2014, and we have recently installed Windows 10 on it.  After installation, we tried to install Skype, Windows automatically restarts and when it starts up it says that you need to repair your system.  Fact that we tried to open the Skype installer, and it still crashed. Help, please!

Thanks in advance

-Vinny

Have you created a Windows system restore point before the installation of Skype?

Are windows puts an administrator account during the installation?  I'm the only admin user on windows, but I can't do much like I said I need admin which remove, access or open the files.

    I use windows 7

    Original title: Admin account

You must be an administrator, because the first account you create during Setup must be an administrator-level account.  There is also a built-in account (with a current name 'administrator'), but it is disabled, unless you are in Safe Mode (restart hold F8 for safe mode).  As soon as the integrated, you can sign in and upgrade your real account on a daily basis at the level of administrator control panel.

Note: even if you are an administrator, some processes will ask confirmation continue.  This is recommended because it prevents the virus of piracy of your profile and using your account.

  • Download Windows XP OS. I need the installation disc. Have the product key number but no disc

I checked on the Microsoft website in the world, it seems that Microsoft has decided to abandon its customers on their own once they declare an "obsolete" product (they need to sell newer versions) So stop the previous support helps to encourage (force) people to migrate to Windows 7

Now more to the point does anyone know how to be a person who has lost the original installation CD, but still holds a legitimate property right with a number of product key of Windows XP to download a copy of the operating system must be able to move back into the original computer?

    I'd appreciate knowledgeable answers.

    Thank you kindly

The key you press on varies considerably according to the computer on which model Dell you have.  Some models do not have this option.  Now, your next logical step would be to download the manual of your Dell computer, that will give you specific instructions for your model on how to reinstall the operating system.

    Go to <> http://www.dell.com >
On the homepage at the bottom under "Support", click on the link "drivers and downloads".
Then click on the link "Support for Home Users" on the next page.
You will be asked to identify your computer model.
After that, click on "Manuals" in the left border, and follow the instructions to download the manual for your computer.  These manuals contain instructions that you need to reinstall Windows.

  • Zoo Tycoon 1, Instalation problems, it stops the installation around 36% completion.

Hi, I have a Windows XP, I also have Zoo Tycoon 1 full Collection. However, I have a problem to install the game. All right until I get at the end of instalation 35%. Then it stops and says. Error reading file D.Data/Maps/crater zoo. I could really use some help for your help thanks.

    Hi youngjosh23,

    • You are able to successfully install the other applications and software?
    • You install this game from a cd?

If you use a CD or DVD to install this game, I recommend copying the contents of the CD/DVD on the desktop and try again. It is possible that one of the files in the CD is damaged.
You can also try to clean the disc with a soft cloth and try again.

If the installation of the game is stored on a computer again one of the files is missing or damaged.
If you have a CD/DVD of the game trying to install using them.

You can also try the steps in the below thread if you use CD/DVD:

  • XP PRO stops the installation.

My hard drive crashed. I ran Fdisk and Format. I tried to reinstal XP Pro with original disc. He get that "Setup starts Windows', and then seems to stop. I'm waiting for an hour before closing.  I installed the HDD on old Gateway my wife and had no problem with installation of XP Pro. Of course, it doesn't work on my computer when I reinsatlled the player. I used a W98, Fdisk boot... reformatted disk. With this boot disk, I started in the BACK. I think that version is W98 or Melinium. I copied all the I386 files in a directory on drive C. I have then run WINNT. EXE. He then asked me to restart. I then get a selection of:! Use the system on the C drive; 2. install XP Pro upgrade. I f I chose the drive C, then again as directed, I get an 'invalid system disk' I mount the CD Pro fI, it restarts and gets to the facility is turned on & stops. Same thing if I chose the XP upgrade.

    Appreciate any suggestions.

Finally found the problem. You were RIGHT! It was one of my 2, 1 MB, memory modules. And I ran the Memtest and they both passed. I started to replace the components, even if they have passed the various tests. I removed a bar of memory and the problem remains. I removed and installed the module 2, started to install XP Pro and install them at this time.

Appreciate your help to put me on the right track.

  • Windows 8 stuck at 82% during the installation of the store.

Okay, so I have a HP Touchsmart 300. Initially, it came with Windows 7 but was "upgraded" to Windows 8 through this class who gave it to me for $15 as.

That being said, the system was on the first installation of the factory, updated with the software factory still in tact. When I tried initially upgrade to Windows 8.1 on the Microsoft Store, the update failed and crashed my PC to an unrecoverable state. I couldn't use the disc of Windows 8 (I bought it) or the system restore to get it back. The system disk however allowed me to "refresh Windows.
A copy that is properly refreshed Windows, I tried to upgrade again through the store. This time, he got 82% on 'install' and more never moved (was on 82% for about 6 hours). There is no USB device attached besides the keyboard wireless receiver and none of the options mentioned in the bios occurs.
As it is even Windows 8 without upgrading to 8.1 has become unstable since the last attempt. Constantly, it crashes and tells me it stop unexpectedly and must recover.
I don't know if this thing of 82% is a time important, although I was very surprised to discover others seem to freeze at the same exact part.
Not sure if this can help, I'm a computer technician (over 18 years) and I ran diagnostics on the hard drive, ram, etc. This machine has been fully functional for the last almost 2 years before attempting to install 8.1. 7 to 8 upgrade went smooth with only a few pieces of software that needed to be reinstalled or removed. This system is not broke down never before attempting installation 8.1.
I'm a computer technician experienced 18 years, I have diagnosed about every piece of hardware and the system apart from this question is perfectly healthy. Even the current copy of Windows 8 has no problem.

I had a similar problem on a laptop asus, I solved this problem by going to DeviceManager and uninstall my bluetooth device then try once again and once that he had instructed to reinstall my bluetooth device

  • Windows 10 - How do I stop the auto update July 29

    Hi all!

I just purchased a Lenovo Yoga 3 14. I am trying to set up (any suggestions welcome, but I have been reading this forum and looking online for help) and have been unable to find an answer to the following question.

The agent told me that any PC, I bought (which currently has Windows 8.1) automatically updates itself to Windows 10 July 29, once connected to the internet.

My problem is that I will be sitting at the bar at the end of the month with this laptop (ending June 30). The bar exam using ExamSoft (by SofTest), which does not support Windows 10 (again, not guaranteed by the bar exam - and certainly not something I want to have to worry). Review of software requires an internet connection to download the review, although it is not connected to the internet, other than for the upload.

I turned off the auto update (for now) and am hoping that if I do not connect to the internet for a long time (although I can't control how long and it may need to be connected for a long time to download), it will not be updated. Does anyone know of a way I can stop this automatic update? (When I've updated my old laptop Win8, then 8.1, I could opt for the update and run it when I chose, but also go back to the old version if I did not like the news. "It seems strange to me that there is an automatic update without option).

    Thanks in advance!

As mentioned Atli, it won't auto update. By getting the so-called "reservation", you still get to determine when the update is installed after that date, but it will significantly speed up the upgrade process because you don't have to wait for a download of 3 GB.

To uninstall the callback, see: http://www.ghacks.net/2015/04/17/how-to-remove-windows-10-upgrade-updates-in-windows-7-and-8/

    Hi, Manpreet_Singh11,

Software piracy is the mislicensing, unauthorized reproduction and illegal distribution of software, whether for business or personal use.

    Pirated software makes wrong everyone

  • Windows 7 does not start after the installation of updates - sounds familiar!

Apparently, I have another system that no longer starts after you install an update to Windows 7. New kick computer _ I have to disable the automatic update of windows. Twice I had to restore the system in the first week because he hung up after the installation of updates for windows 7. I have no idea what update is the cause of the problem.

Essentially, start the screen goes black with the cursor blinking in the upper left corner of the screen. The only way out is to restore the system.

Does anyone know what update is the culpret? HP support has no idea. Their only solution was to update windows 7 to 'never download an update from windows '. It is a terrible thing to be underestimated solution.

    Here's the resolution...

I installed all the updates except KB2284742 954430, 973688 and 971033. So I decided to install these 1 4 at a time in the order shown. I installed successfully 228472 and 954430 and 973688 disappeared from the list of available updates. So I installed 971033 and it installed successfully and I was still able to restart.

My conclusion is that there is a conflict between the first 3 updates when they are installed at the same time.

Now my system is up to date with all windows updates and I'm able to restart without any problems!

  • "windows cannot find a driver" in the installation package?

We have a file server and print XP on our network that has a printer Series PCL LaserJet 3330 installed 5th (using the original installation CD and prints from the XP Server). While trying to install the printer on a remote computer, I downloaded the driver package Windows 7 64 bit for the printer on the computer remote and got the error: «Windows cannot find a driver...» "(I don't understand why the pilot was not as it should be in the installation package.) After getting this error - several times, including the re - download the package and re - try - I downloaded the XP Server installation package and I changed the printer driver it as a package to install downloaded for XP. We always get the same error. The installation of the printer worked fine before having to redo our BONES. Anyone know this problem and can help with this?

This issue is between 64 bit and 32 bit, and there is an easy solution. Once you get back to the way it was before you downloaded the 64-bit package that you go to the machine that you want to load the printer and the printer as a local printer using load say lpt1 port. Auto not detect or print a test page and just finished the installation. Now on the windows 7 computer to join devices and printers and right click on the printer icon and scroll the properties first and left click. Go to the ports, and then add the port and in the box that comes up to put in the name of printserver and the share name of the printer by using the syntax \\printserver\sharename how save and apply and this computer will now be able to print to the printer.
