Windows 32-bit and 64-bit systems
My computer shows windows 7 home premium, 32-bit and 64-bit as operating system. I seem to be processing everthing twice or two systems simultaneously. It seems everything I try to run takes a long time to process. Can I safely delete or disable 32-bit windows system and use only the 64-bit system? Any help or advice will be appreciated.
Hello
Do you mean that you run two operating systems simultaneously? I didn't know it was possible to do! I recommend do you a repair install and replace your 'dual system' by the only x 64 system. You have a system Windows (DVD) drive? If this is not the case, here is the download link for the 64-bit version.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1 ISO
Download the ISO file, then right-click on it and select Burn image. Once you have the DVD that you insert in your DVD drive and inside Windows locate the Setup.exe file. Double-click this file and Windows will start the repair facility. If it can't finish it, it will tell you and give you the opportunity to regularize (output) or go to a complete installation, which would clean your hard drive.
Post here with questions or if you need more detailed instructions for something.
Kind regards
BearPup

After that update of windows 64 bit system Firefox does not start
I've updated to IE 10 and it should be updated to complete. My preference is Firefox, but it does not start and produces an error box telling me that Firefox could not start, it also sends you a report of failure.
It happened in a previous windows update and to reolve that I go back to an earlier era. I don't want to do that this time, I want to use 10 IE and Firefox. If you are unable to solve this I have to use IE 10, it is so much faster now.Yes thanks - please start firefox in safe mode (by pressing the shift key, while it launches) and go to firefox > options > advanced > general & disable hardware acceleration.

I downloaded the solution in a single step, which has been linked to another thread. Now my system is virtually unusable. After that I restarted as part of the installation, all my settings are different - including the wallpaper, all the gadgets.
I have no access to the Internet (using another machine now). Any program or icon I try to access it, I get a message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. "You don't have to permisisons appropriate to access the item"-this message appear practically after I click on any icon.
HOW TO UNINSTALL THIS "DIFFICULTY OF THE STAGE" MY MACHINE? HOW CAN I MAKE USABLE AGAIN?
At this point, I hate VISTA so much you have no idea. I tried for 8 hours today to solve various problems with Windows Update and at this point, I'm really frustruated.
Quote your full version of Windows (for example, Vista SP1;) Vista 64 - bit SP2) when you post in a forum or a newsgroup. Please do it in your next reply.

I'm having a problem with my Windows Media Player and its automatic scoring system.
I'm having a problem with my Windows media player and its rating system. Usually in Windows Media Player the blue side star system only rate once internet-based critical car. Then after playing constant song change the blue stars. However, on my Windows Media Player ratings only to have automatically scored only once and every time I play the song the side remains the same.
Whenever I play a song in Windows Media Player 11 it rates the song but when I play the song again the rating remains the same. It auto-taux only the song once. How can I fix it?

I have a Windows 7 64-bit system I bought a provider on the local computer for a long time with Windows installed.
I replaced my hard drives of 500 GB (mirrored RAID configuration) system with hard drives of 1 TB.
After replacing the readers, I also installed a set of Windows updates. We update failed. After you restart the computer, I ran Windows update again. It seemed that all upgrades completed.
HOWEVER, I now have the message "this computer is not running Genuine Windows". Windows Indexing is not running, send me problems in Outlook and elsewhere.
I saw discussions on the online forum on the problem "Not genuine" resulting from an update of Windows failed and resulting also to change the hard drive.
I led Activation (slui.exe 3) typed in the product key from the sticker on the computer and it activates OK but does not erase the message.
I clicked on pay online now and ran legitcheck.hta and my system has failed validation. The options are to buy or to perform a new installation of Windows.
I have a lot of programs installed on the computer, and I can't lose all configuration data and reinstall all programs. That would take several days and I would not have a system can be used in the meantime.
I ran the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool (1.9.0027.0) and have these results below.
There are a lot of files file mismatches and "tampered with". I believe that this is due to the update has failed.
I thought to manually rerun all updates that goes back to the date when first I struggled (about a month). However, I wasn't sure if this solves the problem or make worse it.
You can leave the data below what actions I need to take the next?
I am a independent and use this computer to work. I have backups of my data files, but it is many installed applications that I can't do without.

Hello
Microsoft Compression Client Pack 1.0 for Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 contains the Msdelta.dll file. The Msdelta.dll file is a library which is part of the Windows Vista operating system. The Msdelta.dll file exports functionality to create and apply binary deltas. KB2286198 arouses computers to run slowly. Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 64-bit.
After installing Windows Update KB2286198 on my Windows XP SP3 computer, the computer crashes frequently when loading items upward, suchs as pages on IE8 or send or receive emails in Outlook. Computer performance is degraded to the point that it's almost unusable at times. One of my users just improved CAD system 64-bit of Windows 7 today and is having the exact same issues. We run CA anti-virus. Most of the questions I've seen posted include antivirus NOD, not the certification authority. Everyone sees these questions? Someone has an idea how solve it?
