BIOS bug? I don t think so

First of all, you must make sure that this isn't a hardware problem. In this case, insert the Toshiba Recovery CD and reinstall the operating system of this device. This will outline the laptop to factory settings. Notes; This would format the whole HARD drive.

After the new installation, you must activate the WLan switch on the side of books, and you can then use the switch button FN + F8 to select the WiFi network.

I assume that you have already configured your Wlan router. So the same settings such as the SSID, encryption of WLan, etc. must be defined on the laptop too.

  • For Portege 3490 AC adapter does not work with the Satellite A100-159

I have a supply of 15V 120W car (or plane Kensington). It works very well with a Portege 3490CT. It doesn't do a thing with my Satellite A100-159 new. The power supply provides also 15 V 6 a. Can someone tell me why the Kensington work?

Or does anyone have a diagram to a power supply adapted myself, preference of 11, 5-14, 12(4) and 24 VDC (23-28: 8)?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

I can give t you an answer why it does not work but usually you need to use the adapter for vehicle recommended by Toshiba. Incorrect adapter may damage the laptop!
I think that the card for Portege 3490 adapter is not compatible with Satellite A100

That the two car/truck/Air 120W laptop charger must be compatible:

  • Network adapter does not work

How to replace the network adapter for model p6370t, Nr AZ210AV, professional Window 7 operating system? It stop working after a power surge caused by a nearby lightning strike.  It seems that this was the only damage. I can get on the internet with a wireless adapter and router. I would use a wired connection.

You will need to purchase a PCI Express x 1 network adapter to install in one of the slots on your motherboard.

Tere are a number available on this web document at NewEgg.com. Also, you should be able to find one at any local PC or electronics store.

  • Wireless network adapter does not work anymore and will not be repeated work without stopping the computer and then back on.

Sometimes I leave my computer on at night.  Sometimes I notice that when I get back to him the next day that he has limited connection to the network I use.  When I try to disconnect it from the network, then reconnect, it says that it cannot connect.  Then, when I try to restart my computer it is sitting at a screen saying "stop down". "."  My wireless network software also is unaccessable in which she does not open and if I close the Task Manager and reopen it flashes for a second then closes.

However when I turn it on manually and then turn it on again, which apparently is not good for the computer, I am once again able to connect to the network with full access.

Can someone please tell me why this keeps happening and how to fix it?

  • Satellite L50-B-1DZ - wireless network adapter does not work

So, my network wireless adapter completely stopped working. 2 days ago I couldn't connect to networks wirelessly without problem (although I've disconnected and will need to run the troubleshooter every few hours to reset it...), but yesterday I started to get the message "not connected - no connection is available. In broadcom 802.11n network adapter in Device Manager, the icon has a yellow warning symbol and the error message "this device cannot start. Code 10 ".

I tried to update the drivers, but it gives just the same error message. I also tried to do a restore of the system since a week ago, but it has not fixed either.

I found a youtube video that said that the problem can be caused by a software conflict and change value from registry, but that no longer works, and now I'm full of ideas.

How have you tried to update the driver WLan?
Have you tried to uninstall the driver first, and then after reboot again to install the new driver downloaded from Toshiba UE driver page?

    Try it!

You said you reset the system in the past?
How? Have you used the Toshiba recovery procedure and have you installed already preinstalled system once more?

  • Driver for TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208AB does not work.

Hi, I have a problem with the driver for TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208AB. My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L850 - 1 L 1 with windows 8. I bought it 3/4 months ago, and I think this is the first time that I had to use the CD input, but the computer does not recognize the CD driver, so I can't access and use. When I go to Device Manager, there is a symbol of error and the specific error is something like (I've translated it in English to Italian): "cannot start this hardware device. The configuration in the registry information is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) ». I read that other people have had a similar problem, but I really don't understand how this could happen, because it's a new computer.
How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks to advice

    Thank you
I had already tried this solution, without success. But this time, I don't know why and how it worked!
I can finally use the CD driver!

  • NETWORK adapter does not work after upgrade

    Hello

I have two identical servers, HP ML350 G6, with an additional NIC from Intel (82574L).

The first server running 4.0 and I upgraded to 5.0 without any problem.

The other server was running 4.1 so I thought that there is no problem here either, BUT when I got to the installation/update I did not upgrade option, I had a migration of Force instead. He complained of two pilots 'oem-vmware-esx-drivers-net-vxge' and 'oem-vmware-esx-drivers-scsi-3w-9xxx '.

I thought that the first server was no problem and it works well on 5.0 so I did a force to migrate.

When the Force 'migrate' was done and I started the server I noticed that a NETWORK card no longer works correctly, Intel 82574 L...

It says it is disconnected, and there is a red X next to it. I checked the first server again to see if it was really the same exact material and that's the only difference is that the Intel NETWORK card is working on the first but not the second server and they are now both on 5.0...

How is it, I have had no problem for the rehabilitation of the 4.0, but when I upgraded to 4.1 I had these problems? And how do I fix?

I need this server running as soon as possible.

  • S3-391 Acer wireless network adapter does not work after driver update

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire S3-391 running Windows 7 64 bit and I have recently updated my card (Atheros AR5BMD222) wireless network to the latest version of such 10.0.0.274 as recommended by the Acer site.  After updating the driver, I can no longer connect to my wifi at home.  When I try to connect, I get the message that no wireless connection is available (even if all my other devices can see the wifi network) and when I diagnose the problem, it is said that there might be a problem with the wireless network card and that windows could not automatically bind the ip stack Protocol.  I tried to uninstall the new driver and reinstall one old and running a system restore before installing the new driver, both with no luck.  When I try to manually configure a wireless connection, I get message "an unexpected error has occurred."  I have an automatic DNS and IP address, and when I look at my ipconfig, IP, DNS, DHCP, etc all have addresses.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

And while playing, I managed to fall on a solution.  When I looked at the properties of my wireless network card, I have disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and now everything works fine.

  • Wireless network adapter does not work

I get the error 10 and 31, and it won't let me access the internet

    Hello

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Check the site of the manufacturer of the system for latest driver.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.
