Windows 7 Genuine Validation failed after the update of the BIOS
Machine - HP Pavilion g6-1010tu
System - Windows 7 Home Basic 32-bit
Recently I updated the system with the latest version of the BIOS, and suddenly to reastart OS is not genuine. I tried to contact Microsoft, and it did nothing, so I had to get off using Windows recovery.
How update the BIOS without any change on the Windows license?
It would be possible to use the product key on your windows sticker & activate by phone.
It is probably not Microsoft but more likely to have a problem with the SLIC tables in the new BIOS that you are trying to install.
Better stick with the BIOS of your work & approved as BIOS constantly updated with minor changes & for users without problems on BIOS current tends to be more difficult than to a value... BIOS flash only if really necessary because problems risk is quite high.

I get a message "Windows failed the genuine validation...". Go online and set now and get genuine Windows. "I have a copy of Windows XP that I bought in the store. My computer came with Vista; When the hard drive crashed, I had the store install the copy of XP that I had bought earlier, instead of reinstalling Vista. Why I shouldn't "genuine Windows" already?
You have an installation made from a set of recovery discs Dell on a Hewlett-Packard machine.
This facility has NOT been made using appropriate media and it is likely that this is what is causing your problems.
Next time, the system displays as non-authentique try to use Update tool product key to make the real system-
Use the product key update tool - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/help/genuine/product-key to change the key for that which concerns your COA sticker, and then to restart and to publish a new report MGADiag we can confirm everything went well

So, Windows does not pass genuine Validation
I have a four-year-old computer on which Windows XP was installed when I bought it. In recent weeks, at the start, I get a message that Windows failed the genuine validation and Security Essentials will be disabled within 30 days if I do not resolve the problem. The message then sent me to a Web Site where I can get genuine Windows. I got the Windows on this computer program because I bought and have been using Security Essentials since it became available. Why this problem is suddenly surfacing?
Hi Cliff999,
1. were you running any hardware or software changes on the computer?
Try the steps from the link below and check off the results: you are prompted to activate Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, each time that you start the computer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312295
If this step does not resolve the problem, you can post your request in the Sub forum for assistance: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/eu/category/genuine

Lenovo T420 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - Windows Genuine validation failure
I have directly from Lenovo Lenovo T420 bought end of 2011 which began recently to show the message that its not running Genuine Windows. He fails to pass the validation test. He also stopped treatment of the Windows updates since December 15, 2014. All fail with the error 800706F7. I don't know if that is related to the failure of the validation. I would like to get the Windows validation problem all solved first guess that they may be related. Is attached a copy of the report full diag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: called Microsoft validation and validation of phone attempt to id software. Has been informed by the agent that the product ID has been blocked by Lenovo. Suggested I upgrade Windows, purchase a new license or call Lenovo. Release with support from Lenovo and told me that they have no way to block a product code. Suggested I try an upgrade of BIOS or reload the operating system. Have you the BIOS upgrade result has not changed. Also updated the driver Intel Rapid Storage, but again no change on the system. Read messages where that fixed similar symptoms). Latest report of diag is the same as that posted here. Operation of the system with the exception of the issue with the message on non-genuine software and updates of Windows does not not error code 800706F7. Looking for more information.
Update: 2/29/2015 KB3004394 was not as installed on this system. I ran a system scan and it shows the following missing components. There are several entries in the CBS for the latter. I have included only the first two entries in the newspaper here.
2015-02-26 14:44:51, CSI 00000031 [SR] (F) component not found error: Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Client, Version 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 = (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral [gle = 0 x 80004005]
2015-02-26 14:44:52, CSI 00000033 (F) [SR] component not found error: Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Client, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_INTEL (0), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral [gle = 0 x 80004005]Last update: after trying the suggested corrections that have failed, I did a complete system restore. Too bad the updated Microsoft corrupted the system. System is operating normally and is more pointed out the error of "Genuine Windows" and updates are being processed. KB3004394 is not installed.

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.
According to the description of the problem, you can not install Windows updates and get a non-genuine mistake. As you have mentioned that this whole issue started since 15 December, so there might be a chance that some updates to move that could cause the problem.
The KB 3004394 which was dated December 10, 2014 update can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer. Thus, there could be a chance that this update is installed on your computer that is causing the problem.
According to my research and findings that I got to know only after you have installed the Microsoft KB3004394 update that was released on December 10, 2014 and Microsoft has disabled since the relevant updates. Some systems also provided a Windows is "not authentic" error caused by the same update.
So try to remove this update of the updates installed, if it is installed and hide so that it can be installed in the future of its own. You can check the link below to complete the task.
You can see the below mentioned steps to hide an update.
Click on start.
Now click on all programs.
And then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
Now, click on custom.
Click to clear the check box next to the update KB3004394 .
Expand the KB3004394 update you want to hide, and then click the checkbox "don't show me this update again".
Click review and install updates.
For more information please refer to the suggestion of José Antonio answered the February 10, 2012.
Additional information:
You can see the thread mentioned below for details on the error message and the resolution.
Get the error code Windows Update 800706f7
Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
Kind regards

I haave had this since 2008 HP Pavilion desktop computer. It came with Win 7 Home installed, and Office Depot had upgraded to Win 7 Pro. I ran it without any problem of validation for more than three years now. Tuesday I'll be back for an appointment and the computer went to sleep. When he woke up normally, I found a 'Windows Activation Technologies' popup saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows". I tried the link "pay online now", but he ordered me to have to pay for a new facility. I do not want to do because my Windows has already been purchased and is valid for more than three years.
Then run Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool and it came true.

SSDT HPQOEM SLIC-CPCI ran full virus and malware scan with Avast Pro and Malwarebytes Pro and a complete diagnosis with Advanced System Care Pro tools that have always kept this system clean and stable. As expected, no malware, regular maintenance tasks only were delivered. It's been several days since the last time that I made no change to the system (I upgraded a utility) and the system has been rebooted at least four times after that without problem. The only other change was an update of Windows. Interestingly, after that same Windows Update on my machine Vista, it refused to start (BSOD) and I had to go back to a two days old restore point - that fixed it. I always had a mysterious problem with Win 7 Pro machine that it creates restore points, but I can never find, so I can't have this option on this computer.
I'm trying to start a new business and cannot afford to be without my computer, or do strange things, or buy a new copy of Windows and take the time to restore a careful configuration of three years. I when I recently bought a new laptop from Office Depot, I also bought a Windows 7 Pro upgrade kit and installed myself. When I did, I realized that the update CHANGES THE PRODUCT KEY and I knew not when they improved the office... they give me new product key for the Pro upgrade, so all I have is the original OEM key and apparently going to lose my Pro upgrade if I need to reimage from the disks in the system or the OEM partition. This is not acceptable, either, and I have no idea how to go about face. The transaction took place three years ago!
Please help; I'm already running on the razor's edge with the launch of this company. This error is likely to destroy me financially. I can't do what I need to do on the laptop - it is a low-cost, minimal machine and specifically, has no office and the ability to perform graphics... things cutting-edge software that I need to be able to do.
Click Start
in the search box, type
System restore
and press the Enter key
Once the system restore is displayed, click Next
Now put a check mark in the box "Show more restore points.
What points appear now?
If there is a just before your problem, try this.
If this isn't the case - as I say, CANCEL any act performed by ASC and uninstall it.
Then run another MGADiag report and post it.

I recently had a problem with hard drive with this machine and had to reinstall the system and restore data from a backup. Is it possible that this has some how changed the PID at the origin of this problem? If I have no choice but to buy a new OS can spend to Win 8 or will I run into a question?
As I said before, "No matter how long he ran 'okay'..." »
Copies MSDN work very well - until Microsoft discovers that they have been used in a way not scheduled (they are sold by unscrupulous people who probably to sell at an attractive price in comparison to other copies - a lot of people don't care about questioning why they might be cheaper.) Others may sell at the same price and make more money before disappearing).
You have an MSDN copy. Your PID has not been changed by restoring the backup. ;-)
You can try changing your product key of Windows 7 than on the sticker:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/osproductkeys/HT/change-Windows-7-key.htm
Then try to activate by phone:
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/18715-activate-Windows-7-phone.html
And come back to report to what past. What operating system do you have on the laptop before? You can get a Windows 8 upgrade for that - but I would not honestly - recommend it because the difference is quite obvious and you haven't checked your software and hardware is supported on Windows 8, I know. My recommendation for Windows 8 is to use * if * the system you have came from the manufacturer with it pre-installed. :-)

I can't install the support for my version of Windows 7n pack because "this version fo the windows genuine validation tool is no longer supported. Please download the latest version and make sure that your system clock is accurate. "I am downloading directly from your site, so unless a new version came out... Help IDK
Make sure that you run from Internet Explorer.
