Windows 7 validation

Hello

I have 'Windows 7 build 7600 is not genuine' pennons in the office.

I had a new hard drive mounted after the laptop was dropped, and a "technician" in a proper shop installed Windows 7 Ultimate on Vista Ultimate to get the job of the laptop.

I had no idea that Windows 7 had a bogus key as he worked for 11 months.

I want to get a new Windows 7 operating system and authentic installed, but can't find a way to return to original Vista as there seem to be disappeared1

Can you give me specific details how get me real!

Thank you very much in anticipation.

David

You need to either reinstall Windows Vista via a recovery partition or recovery supplied with your computer disks. If you have any of these, you could try to ask for one from the manufacturer of your computer.

You can also try to get a real software Kit to convert your license of Windows 7 to a legal license:

What should I do if my system is not validated, but I am certain that I purchased / have a genuine copy of Windows?

When a copy of Windows is not validated, the user is directed to a custom Web page with details about what caused the failure and recommendations to correct the problem. This page contains a section with troubleshooting steps. One of these steps will allow you to check to see if you can use the online product key update. If your computer comes with a genuine product key, but Windows was incorrectly installed using a valid product key, the product key update tool helps convert your computer to a genuine status without having to purchase a new copy of Windows. If this solution does not work, see the instructions above for what to do when your system is not validated.

I've heard a lot of people are unable to validate through WGA - what happens? Is there a system problem or an error in the validation service?

The WGA validation process is extremely reliable, but there are moments where system or network errors prevent validation works correctly. The validation failure is usually caused by the use of a non-genuine Windows license. In many cases, visitors do not know that they have received a counterfeit copy. The unintentional victims of counterfeit are often surprised by the result and may challenge the validity of the service. However, WGA has been operational since July 2005 and has validated the systems with more than 500 million. Microsoft is investigating all applications the user about possible errors. When errors occur, we work with our clients to solve. Customers who suspect problems with the validation process must follow all on-screen instructions

Is there a correlation of 100% between the WGA validation failure and have a non-genuine copy of Windows? Is it possible to pass WGA validation once and fail later?

It is possible for the users to pass WGA validation once and then fail later as a result of non-genuine software. Microsoft frequently discovers new keys that are either counterfeit and adds them to WGA service. After that new keys are added to the WGA service, a validation result could change.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.

  • Computer saying non-genuine windows, and validation of the needs

I bought my computer from PC World in 2008 with Windows Vista Home Premium installed. After four years, it is not authentic saying of Windows and requires validation. Unfortunately, the label on the bottom of my computer is unreadable and I don't have the box in which I bought it so did not not the Validation Code of the product. I recently had the computer repaired in a store of the local computer. This could be the reason for the message?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Your problem is that, for some reason, the system is unable to properly read the table SLIC in BIOS, what is required in order to triggered the key OEM_SLP with which the computer came installed.

The normal solution is to change the key for that on your COA sticker - but you say that you are unable to read the key here.

In such circumstances, are the only things you can do

    (1) Re-create the license store - in which case it's a minor software problem causing the is

    2) try to update BIOS to the latest available Vista compatible one, since the manufacturer's website

    (3) contact the manufacturer and see if they can provide assistance to correct the SLIC table

    (4) a reformat and reinstall using the manufacturer's recovery media

    (5) purchase of a new license for Windows (or a new computer)

Since it is a 'new' installation, the problem is obviously not #1

    #2 is a possibility--but a rare

#3 is a possibility and worth a try (but can cost $$)

#4 you seem to have already tried.

#5 is the option of last resort. (it costs money!)

It * may * be an alternative solution, if you are patient and persistent.

Attempt to activate by phone and speak to an operator - they will tell you that your current key is locked (they then seek confirmation of your product key). Explain your problem, you must change the key of your sticker, but the thumbnail is unreadable (they could please provide a replacement key?). If all goes well, they will request documentary proof of the sticker, in the form of an e-mail with a picture of the affected tile - and you can proceed from there.

It sometimes takes two or three calls before you get an operator who knows and uses this procedure, but I know that it is possible and happens.

  • Windows failed validation gunine

    Hello

I tried to install MSN Messenger and followed the steps provided by the Microsoft team. However, I was unable to install the update and when I went to allow all users to find the solution online and restart my computer that occurred the following:

I connect and a 'windows software protection' box on a completely black background. The message in the Inbox is:

"An unauthorized change was made to windows.

Windows found a change which will result in limited windows functionality. Click on the link below to know how to repair windows

    1. Learn more online
    2. Close (it disconnects the computer)

When I click on the first button, it opens to http://www.miscrosoft.com/genuine/
I then validate windows and the following message 'copy of windows has failed the genuine validation. I am then provided with the solution, but I would need access to the start menu, but I only have a black background.

Please, please help me find a solution for this that I need my computer to work properly for me to do my job.

    Thank you

Then, as I have also said, tell me your location (country) and I look at the number of calll activate manually.  Remember, the product key is an alphanumeric code 25-digit 5 sets of 5 digits separated by hyphens: everything else is something else and not the product key.  If you use the product key on the label on the computer, then it must validate even if you must do it manually.

The start menu is opened using the round ORB in the lower left of the lower task bar on the desktop.  You can not access the screen activation without going through the start menu as I know - although I've never let my computer lose activation, so it may work a little different when that happens (but I have understood that it reduces the features but still allowed what what need to activate the system).  If you get only an activation dialog box, and then continue through the automated process and you must be transferred to the manual process where you can browse the guests until you talk to a human being who willl help you.  Remember, the code that appears in the start menu / computer / system properties / Activation once the machine is turned on is NOT the product key - I don't know what it is, but it has no value in the reactivation of the product.  And the code that is produced by the activation system is not the product key and cannot be used for activation.  You need the code that I described above.

If the iis code not authentic (maybe not on a label or simply wrote down, - may - with a mistake - or be misread on several occasions), then you will have trouble activating manually or automatically.  When you say it "does not activation" you mean you can not activate automatically or that you contacted the Group activatition by telephone, gave them the code, and they told you that it was not authentic?  If the first case, do it manually as described above. If you are unable to start, then you are wrong about something else with your system and more of a problem with the activation.  Use the computer that you are to get the number and then go to the computer of the problem to talk to them.  If this last, then post it on the genuine advantage Forum listed above and provide him with what they ask and they will test your product key and what they ask and will tell you if it is or is not genuine/valid (and why this isn't if it's not) - so if that is the case, you will know why, it's that you cannot activate.  If this is the case, you have a problem, because without a genuine product key, you cannot activate.  At this time, contact you and discuss the problem with the computer manufacturer and see if they can do something to help.  Sometimes, the recovery disks they sell does not require you to enter an activation key and who can fix the problem (even if it will cost a small fee and you must confirm that before buying the records and you will need to do a clean install to fix the problem).

There is no deception going on here.  I suspect that you could use an incorrect code (maybe read incorrectly - use a magnifying glass if necessary) or there may be another problem with your system.  If you use a software to get the product code of the system (such as Belarc) rather than the code on the label so if the operating system has been installed by the manufacturer, the code in the system is probably their master image code and not the one assigned to you and you need to use the speciiquement that you are assigned.  If you installed a retail OS version, the system is the same as that supplied with the product and something like Belarc can get it back (if you can get the program installed and running with reduced functionality).  If you used the code for a year or so and all of a sudden, you get this message, so I think there is nothing really wrong with the code and everything just reactivate manually may solve the problem and discuss the issue with experts of validation in the other forum will address the real problem.

There is nothing else I can do or say.  I don't know why this is happening to you, but it's of course and what I said in this post and messages of before is the only way out of the situation.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
