Windows 8 crash after reboot

After a fight, I managed to install Windows 8 and after trying a few things out, by logging in to my email account, for example, I decided to stop and restart. I was presented with a fancy screen startup and after dragging my finger up found a box ask for my password, I was unable to complete my entry when the computer is empty. I had to resort to power and turn off before I was able to restart and the same result ensued. I've done several times?

Please can someone explain the above?

My Windows 7 Home Premium hangs (blue screen) to the 'Starting Windows' screen after reboot. And the reason for the rebate to zero (and crash) is updated to Windows "HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor" . I did hidden, but now I need to install drivers for my webcam and every time that I turn on "automatic driver installation" update of windows server, it installs not only the WebCam drivers, but also this «HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor» update Which brings me to the crash at the next restart of Windows. The only way is to return to the system restore point.

I use a laptop "HP Compaq 6715 b" . I had Vista prior to this (it was preinstalled with HP all the "stuff"), but after upgrade (reinstallation) of windows 7, upgrading from windows found all the drivers (and graphics and sound and even the biometric device drivers), but is now something wrong after every update "HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor" . Why? Or at least I can make him 'banned '?

P.S. I had and have the 32-bit version of Windows.

    ny6uctblu,
Have you checked with HP on any problems with this software?  Here is a link for download of HP for the software.  You should also check that your BIOS is up to date.  I found some info on a wire of HP on the Data Protection sensor Mobile works is not propely.  This thread can also give you some other ideas.

I have a PSAFHE Satellite Pro A210 running dual boot Windows XP/7
With the help of Windows 7 - 32 or 64 - system always crashes after sleep/hibernate mode.
This never happens with XP that sleeps and hibernates OK...
There is no driver for this laptop on site http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU
I like system 7 and use it on my other computers but without sleep/hibernate, I go back to XP.

    Hello

    > There is no driver for this laptop on site http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU

    Sorry, mate, but you're wrong.
All drivers for Win 7 for Satellite Pro A210 are available on the European driver of Toshiba page that I recommend you check out once again

Given that this question does not appear using Win XP, I can say with certainty that this has nothing to do with the material, but it s a software related issue
I recommend updating the graphics card driver

In addition, there is a new BIOS for Satellite Pro A210 PSAFHE it s v2.0

  • Satellite L350-24U: Windows Vista crashes after installing SP2

    Hello

I own a Satellite L350-24U laptop with Windows Vista 32. I bought in October and had to reinstal the OS twice now. Still, it crashes after installation of Service Pack 2. After you restart the system, a blue screen appears, giving the following information

    STOP: 0 X 00000024 (0 X 00190444, 0X86B9BAD0, 0XC0000102, 0X00000000)

I had to reinstall Win Vista with HDD Recovery from Toshiba (press F8, then repair etc.) and everything worked properly again.
THS time, it's more serious. Last night the system shut down whenever you use internet explore (after about 30 seconds). SP2 has not been installed, but there are so many problems, I decided to install SP2, because I hoped that the bugs I had with SP2 would be eliminated. When installing SP2, the system crashed again, and now I got the same bluescreenmessage new.

I tried to reinstall Vista, but the Toshiba HDD program starts no more: it is said: the installed program is not working (or something similar) - please click on ok to close.

I did not burn the cd of recovery yet, so I don't know what more can be done and online support is closed today.
I'd really be very happy for any help
    Thank you

    Hello

I searched a bit on the Microsoft Web site and on the blue screen, I created this article:
    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-GB/library/ms793935.aspx

So I think that the reason for the BSOD is a corrupted file system or a defective HARD drive. You should check the drive using the Drive Fitness Test for example.

I put t understand why you didn't burn the disc of recovery yet. Why you didn t read the manual at first?
Now, you have only one option to get a new recovery disk: Please order a new Toshiba directly: https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Windows 8 crashed after update - dual-boot

Hello all, I installed Kubuntu in dual-boot with Windows 8 (not 8.1) a weeek ago and both ran correctly. I've used Windows later than yesterday, and... Update! Win partition crashed after the auto with the Lenovo logo and 6 balls turning constantly.

I tried to use Boot-Repair, but it did not solve my problem.

    An error occurred during repair.

Please write down the following URL:

    http://Paste.Ubuntu.com/9044826/

In case you are still having a problem starting, enter this address to:

E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

You can now restart your computer.

The start-up files [the operating system currently in use - 14.04.1 LTS Ubuntu] are far from the beginning of the disc. Your BIOS can't detect them. You can try again after you create a partition/Boot (EXT4, > 200 MB, beginning of the disc). This can be done via tools such as gParted. Then select this partition via the [separate/boot partition:] [Boot Repair] option. (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootPartition)

I don't know how to read these newspapers, and I kindly ask someone to read it and to tell me something. Also, I did not understand the last paragraph, sorry.

I have an image of Windows Backup in the case and a CD of Rscue to win. He ran, but I wasn't sure of its possible 'reaction' to the presence of GRUB. is it likely to create problems for my startup parameters? I heard that he is likely to erase everything on my HD

    THINGS THAT MAY BE IMPORTANT:

-Boot-Repair is set to "Secure starting" (checked under "advanced options"), but is not my UEFI/BIOS.

-analyzing sda4 you notice the presence of boot.ini, it has not been deleted after revenues of bootmgr?

    Hi Max,.

Using the restore disc, we can format Windows and we will be able to format the partition. However formatting Ubuntu can contact Ubuntu support forums http://community.ubuntu.com/contribute/support/ubuntu-forums/ since they will be able to guide you to the best.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • crash after reboot

I restarted the computer and Open firefox, but instead of browser I get the message of crash report that I keep hitting reboot reset does nothing after that restart attempts give the possibility to open in safe mode. Now in safe mode everything works well except my personal settings. I have no idea what caused it. Tried to download the old versions, but the same thing, cannot open firefox in safe mode only. Went to about: crashes, but don't understand all this. Its really annoying when dealing with ads all the time on safe mode.

Just a quick comment in passing.

Disable hardware acceleration and try to update the graphics drivers.
(& vice-versa role back the current Windows, in which case a new is the problem)

  • Windows 7 hangs after reboot

After that windows 7 attempted a system update hangs on the failure of configuration updates Windows - coming back from changes.  After hours of waiting, it remains the same.  I tried a hard reboot and selected "start in safe mode" and 'start in last good configuration' and 'debug mode' and in all cases, the system goes right back to the "failure configuration Windows...» "How can I leave it this loop?

Restore to an earlier date that the latest updates have been made.  Use the system restore.

Next, we need to prepare your system to properly manage the Windows updates.  It will take a long time (like a day or more), but in almost all cases, this becomes Windows Update on track.

    1. Download and run the appropriate version for your system KB947821 update readiness tool system.  https://support.Microsoft.com/en-CA/KB/947821 32-bit systems X 86.  X 64 64-bit systems.  This is likely to take some time (may be several hours) because it makes all kinds of resets.
    2. Download KB3102810 directly from the Microsoft web site and install it.   https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3102810 32-bit systems X 86.  X 64 64-bit systems.

Now restart Windows Update.  Do NOT restart Windows.   Be very, very sick, it will probably take a while.  Recently, the whole process took 24 hours or more time elapsed in my work on my client computers.

Now, your challenge is to be PATIENT.  This can take several hours.

    Tip:

    Restore points

The amount allocated to the point area by restoration by default in Windows 7 is 3% of the capacity of the disk.  In almost all cases, the computer uses but a small part of the available space.  This makes it very convenient to raise that 3% to say 8-10%.  This strategy will give a lot more restore points that will give you much more flexibility to recover a bad situation.

To change the award, type create in the text box above the start planet.  Select create a restore point.  Click set up.  Move the slider to the right as you see fit.  Definition it to 50 gigabytes will have no effect if you have a 500 GB drive and use only about 100 or so, which is very typical.

  • Windows 8 crashes when rebooting but fine on normal shutdown

I am running windows 8 on an Asus q550l and during the last two weeks when starting up windows is blocking... i.e. Windows does not start and it goes directly to a loop/diagnostic mode. I have updated the computer several times and have finally found the cause: if I do a full stop of the machine it starts normally but if I select 'restart' or make a hard closure (power button), it crashes. CHKDSK and virus scans are not finding anything. If anyone has had similar problems (and hopefully) found a solution? Thank you

In order to diagnose your problem computer please follow the instructions below

Please run the trace of the judgment

Open a command prompt and run the track there.

    To start tracing: (slow start)
xbootmgr -trace boot -traceFlags BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER -resultPath C:\TEMP

Note in Windows 8, it is safe to use the indicator of DRIVERS, Windows 7 bug is fixed in Windows 8.

For the follow-up of the judgment: (slow stop)

xbootmgr -trace shutdown -noPrepReboot -traceFlags BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER -resultPath C:\TEMP

For Eve + recovery: (issues during the recovery from sleep mode)

xbootmgr -trace standby -traceFlags BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER -resultPath C:\TEMP

For Hibernate + CV: (Issues at the resumed from hibernation)

xbootmgr -trace hibernate -traceFlags BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER -resultPath C:\TEMP

All this will stop, put your computer into hibernation or standby, and then restart to finish tracing.
After you connect to your PC, the new startscreen appears and you must click on the desktop to see the countdown.
Yet once, wait for the timer to complete. Afetr you have done this, you should now have tracing files in C:\TEMP.

  • Windows 8 crashes after installation costs

I had some problems with my ProBook 4720 s this summer, and for the most part of it, would not depend on the screen. After I plug it with an external, it would work, but the image was dispersed. • Photoshop elements 14.1 (Windows 10) crashes after importing multimedia files in a catalog to convert

In addition to 12.1 PSE, I installed PES 14.1 and converted to catalog.pse12db catalog.pse14db without any error message.

Import... Download the pop media button to the top of the "Coppying - XX % Completed" progress window, which evacuated then at 100% and PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe crashes.

Kill PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe with the Task Manager and go to PSE14 show media files had nevertheless imported free of errors.

Adobe Photoshop elements 14.1 reinstalling does not fix the problem.

Open a new catalog and importing multimedia files in this new catalog.pse14db runs without error.

Catalog.pse14db contains the beginning marked more 6000 photos with Photoshop elements 3 (on my old PC with Windows 2000) and thus has been transformed several times during its history. The volume_table table includes readers/devices from the old PC, which do not exist in PCs today.

Although I'm not familiar with SQLite, using sqlite manager (add-on Firefox) help solve my problem (if it's really a question of catalog.pse14db)?

    Any ideas for me?

    Thank you!

    Michael Weinert

    Michel,

    I took a break.

Apart from that, I'm at a loss what to try next...

A few days before Pentecost, I resumed outages by install the trial version of Photoshop elements 13, conversion of catalog.pse12db into catalog.pse13db, from Photoshop elements 14.1 and transform this catalog.pse14db catalog.pse13db.

He has no problem now to import media files in this converted catalog.pse14db. I will continue using PSE14.1 with the converted catalog whatching to find errors.

I wonder why the repair function on the Catalog Manager solves this problem, and what will be the opinion of the team of Adobe.

    BTW

Import media files offer 'Get media' or 'Open' - what is the difference?

    Kind regards

    Michael

  • Installation of Windows 7 crashed after power loss

I desperately need some help here, myself being not not a computer genius.

I has been upgraded from Vista to W7 and left the laptop unattended topic step 6 (I think).

When I returned however, my laptop was powered down, as the power cable had came out. Now when I go to start windows, it tells me the installation was not complete, and I have to restart and restart the installation.

The problem is that I can't do this, because I can't further in windows than this.

What should / can I do?

    Hey,...

Go into your BIOS settings to change the startup options so that it starts on the CD/DVD drive instead.

You should be able to start it again.

The only thing that can be a problem, it's that he CAN'T let you upgrade n he need to clean install? If someone else can confirm if it is the case or not?

    Worth a try?
