Windows 8 has constantly need factory reset on computer

After reading several posts, it seems that everyone has problems with Windows 8/8.1.  Bought a new computer from office touchscreen in March 2013.  Within 2 days of shopping, began to have problems with the W8 closing and/or mode auto repair at least once a week.  I had to do a complete factory reset at least 4 times now because the repairs and upgrades are not solved the problem.  I spoke in support of so many times my head spinning.  I don't see where my computer is the problem, because many jobs in the face of the same or similar problems with many different computers, even with simple updates to computers that worked well until the W8 was installed.  And Microsoft can't even get my right warranty information, saying that it expired three days after I bought the computer.  I scanned my receipt and sent to them, as indicated, all the information and I'm having problems.  They have yet to set this warranty issue, or helped with the accidents that happen, other than to direct me to make yet another factory reset.  I am extremely frustrated with the constant question with the W8.  When it does not work, my computer works well.  The last time I talked to the support, the man I spoke to said that there was a file corrupted in W8.

Hi Sherry,

Please write your question to us.

It is unfortunate that you are facing so many problems with your computer. I can understand the frustration this might cause, but rest assured, we're here to help and guide you in the right direction.

What is the brand and model of the computer?

Since then, it's a desktop, guaranteed does not lie with Microsoft, but the manufacturer of the computer as Windows is pre-installed on it.

The question you are faced to seems to come from your material, I suggest you run a hardware check utility that is provided to you by the manufacturer.

I would also ask that you contact your system manufacturer for assistance on this issue.

Hope this information was useful. Just reply with the results and if you need further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

Yes, you should be able to reinstall, but if you can you should disable before resetting the machine.  Otherwise, if the two license activations were used and no reset you will need to contact Adobe Support by chat and ask them to reset your activations.

  • HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC: Can't activate Windows 8 Pro after a factory reset (hard drive reformatted).

    Hello:

I had to make a drastic clean the C drive of my ENVY 17 laptop and did a Factory Reset. I was able to reload Windows 8 Pro to my USB stick recovery.

However, Windows 8 Pro cannot be reactivated indicating that the product key is invalid or blocked. I understand that this is due to having the OS completely cleaned and formatted drive.

    My questions are:

    1. Will be the HP (which is available on order) recovery disks be able to help solve the situation described above?
    2. It will allow me to reactivate my Windows 8 Pro?
    3. Will the recovery be HP discs/media contain or are marked with the correct Windows product key?

    Hello NateY3k,

When you receive the disks, you want to turn on your computer and insert the first, then turn off the computer. Wait about 10 seconds and then turn on the computer and it should load discs.

Here is a linkthat will help you with the process, when you open the link, click on "recovery from recovery discs", and which should also help a little.

  • How to factory reset 1520LAPTOP/computer PORTABLE DELL INSPIRON

    Help, please

The procedure is given in the manual of your computer and is also available on the Dell site [where you can also download another copy of your manual if necessary].

I expect the proceedings in question either identical or very similar to:

[excerpt from the manual for Dell Inspiron 1545]

    1. turn on the computer.

2 when the Dell logo appears, press several times to access the Advanced Boot Options window.

Note: If you wait too long and the operating system logo appears, continue to wait until you see the Microsoft Windows desktop; then, shut down your computer and try again.

    3. Select repair your computer.  The System Recovery Options window appears.

    4. Select a keyboard layout and click Next.

    5. to access the recovery options, log in as a local user. To access the command prompt, type administrator in the user name field, and then click OK.

    6. click on Dell Factory Image Restore. The Dell Factory Image Restore welcome screen appears.

Note: Depending on your configuration, you may need to select Dell, then Dell Factory Image Restore factory tools.

    7. click on next. Data delete screen is displayed.

Note: If you do not wish to continue Factory Image Restore, click Cancel.

    8. check the box to confirm that you want to continue reformatting the hard drive and restoring the system software to the factory condition, then click Next.  The restore process begins and may take five or more minutes. A message appears when the operating system and the applications installed in the factory have been restored to the State of the plant.

    9. click Finish to restart the system.

  • Help! May need to reset my computer

I changed my settings so I could see the files hidden, but I somehow messed up so I see nothing... no icons... no files... anything. I can just see the hidden folders. Help please!

No system restore except among more than one year...

Use or not (although I don't know how you would have a point to restore system a year ago...)

The first question is: how are your backups?

Because if you did not follow any manufacturer gave you with the computer to restore the system to factory settings - you probably want to be able to restore your personal data (internet favorites/bookmarks, emails, contacts, photos, music, documents, spreadsheets, databases, saved games, installation files, serial numbers and product keys) etc.) backups after you do.

  • Slow start even after factory reset

After significant problems, mainly increasing the response slow time, which no longer responding, slow start, not being not able to uninstall the software and do not restore to any point windows recovery, I performed a factory reset.  I was running Kaspersky, Eset and Malwarebytes - I think that this is the final fall of the computer, but it has never been declared malware that has not been set.

The problem is, even after the factory reset with NO other programs installed, I'll still have a slow start.  This should not be the case, right?

I don't know what information you need to help me understand this.
