Windows 8 Pro not activated, error code: 0x8007007B
OK, here's the thing so... I bought a Windows 8 PRO (x 86 & x 64) in a local store. This key worked perfectly the last 4 times I installed it (3 times on the same computer... once on a lappy) but when this time, during the installation, when the installation program asks key, I entered that key and it has been accepted... but when it came to the office... There WAS the WATERMARK ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF the SCREEN... When I open PC Info... He stated that Windows is not ACTIVATED !
When I click ' see details in Windows Activation', a window pops up,
When I clicked on ACTIVATE...
WHAT DO I DO ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?
o.O o.O o.O o.O o.O o.O o.O
Original title: tried a lot... but Windows 8 Pro NOT ACTIVATE! o.O
I suggest that you use the telephone method to activate. In a command prompt (ADMIN), type Slui 4, choose your country and follow the instructions. When connected to an automatic connection say or do nothing until you are transferred to a technician to live and then explain in detail your problem and it should be able to help to activate your computer. Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.
The above opinion is mine and mine nothing and does not necessarily reflect that of Microsoft, it's employees, or any other Member of this forum.

Can't download Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Disc Images (ISO files) with the license product key
A few months ago, I bought a laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit pre-installed, used with supplied installation disc. There is a hologram sticker COA affixed to the laptop with a product key. I used this key to activate the phone without problem. I was then able to install SP1 and various other updates over time.
Recently, I decided that I should have a Windows installation disc (Windows Update has slowed to a crawl and doesn't, and I maybe to repair or reinstall it with the disk).
I have entered my product key on Microsoft Web page to 'Download the Windows 7 disc Images (ISO files)'. But I got an error message:
"The product key you have entered seems to be for software pre-installed by the manufacturer of the device. Contact the manufacturer of the software device for recovery options. »
Running 'Winver' shows that my product is authorized.
Running "slmgr.vbs - dli" shows the partial product key and license status "allowed."

How can I download an installation image for the s/w Windows 7 that I activated?
Thanks for your help.
For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.
It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.
Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:
How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?
Make sure you scroll down and read the section:
What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

Problem with installing windows xp the drive mounted iso in windows 7
Hello everyone, I am currently using Windows 7 and I would like to install Windows xp. However, I do not have a CD player, so I just have to install the .iso files. When I mounted the image Poweriso .iso file and run the installer there, he opened a window with a few options to choose. And I was surprised to see that the option "Install Windows XP" is grayed out, which means that it is not available. Can someone help me to activate Setup option to install the OS?
You can see the screenshot here: http://www.mediafire.com/?h6v5l3qnx6mfvt8

Windows 8 Pro - not activation
Here's my problem.
I had Windows 8 Pro Portable one. I was using the developer preview of Windows 8.1 for awhile now.Now that the final version of W8.1 will be available next month, I thought to install Windows 8 and put my phone to receive 8.1.But now, the Pro 8 Win is not activating. I get a message that says that the key is not valid, and I need to get another key.Is it because I had Win Pro 8 approximately 2-3 months back that has been activated and I try to turn it on again? If this is the case, how can I get this product active now and download the Windows Pro 8.1 for me that I am eligible?I know there are a lot of questions related to that, but please reply or give me a link where I can find an appropriate response.Try again by phone:
1. press the Windows key + X , and then clickrun, and then type: slui.exe 4
2. then press the ENTER"" key.
3. Select your "country" in the list.
4. choose the option "activate phone".
5. stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
6. explain your problem clearly to the support person.
Please note:
To install a Windows 8 upgrade version, you must already have Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP installed on your PC.
If you have formatted the drive until the upgrade of Windows 8 version has been installed, you will not be able to use your upgrade product key to activate Windows 8. To activate Windows 8, you will need to install your previous version of Windows, and then reinstall Windows 8. Help with the activation process, contact technical support.

MacBook Pro not mounting external hard drive
My Macbook Pro (early 2015, running Mac OS Sierra) is not able to mount my [new] external hard drive (Seagate Backup Slim). It shows up in disk utility, but the volume seems shady. Nothing happens by pressing the command mount or performing first aid. Kindly help me out here.
Hi vishesh97,
Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!
We understand your question that you have a new external hard drive, a backup Slim Seagate, which does not appear when you connect to your MacBook Pro.
Allows because it is a new hard drive, try to clear the disc first and formatting for Mac OS extended (journaled). The instructions for this process are found in the article below:
For Mac disk utility: delete a volume using disk utility
See you soon!

(My computer is slow this morning. When I moved the slider, he did not respond as usual and I frequently, in Word, backspaced erasing the words because the cursor is not at the right place. In addition, the Internet Explorer changed slowly pages.)
I decided to run the Photos as a screen saver; I have not used yet with Windows 7, but used my images frequently with Windows XP. I chose Windows Photo Gallery, first of all, but nothing came, then I selected pictures.
Four images came from the folder my pictures,
then a big green arrow pointing to a component of the computer.
the word, CATALYST and some images, I remember the Catalyst Control Center.
Then a small image of a computer & CD,
and then a symbol of infinity, then a blank image.
a high with the words image, Microsoft Visual Studios then upward.
Then another little computer component image and then a green animated work Windows image.
I do need to update AMD Catalyst Control Center?
I have Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (x 64) on my computer. It has something to do with the images?
Check here for some suggestions I wrote on this subject recently: http://cmdrkeene.com/fix-sluggish-slow-pc

Where can I get a copy of Windows 7 Pro OEM x64bit .iso?
Hello world
I had some problems with my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad - still under warranty) and decided to format the hard drive and reinstall the OS.
Since I bought it with the operating system referred to above, I have the license for the OEM version.
About a month a go, I found this thread , followed the instructions and everything worked well until now.
Now (about a month after that everything is fine) I get this message that my copy is not genuine.
I tried to give the keys of my license and I get this error message: 0xc004f063:
"The software licensing service reported that the computer BIOS is missing a required license.
I read somewhere that the apparent reason for this is that I have probably installed a commercial version rather than the OEM version.
So where can I get a copy of the OEM version for win7 Prox64?
I could address the support of Lenovo but the they charge a lot of money to spare, even if the machine is still under warranty.
An ISO OEM would not make a difference, detail of the installed support can be used with OEM key as long as it's the same edition.
Try the following and then try the activation of the phone;
Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannowThis will check for any breach of integrity
Restart your system
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

Windows 7 Pro "Note this computer" keeps returning an error
I'm loving Windows 7 and games are swell running, but I'm a little confused as to why the program "Note this computer" continues to operate in a mistake. He tells me the following:
"windows experience index for your system could not be calculated."
"cannot complete assessment."
the assessment or other operation did not completely succeed. This is due to an error reported from the operating system, driver or any other element. »I've completely updated windows, I have the latest drivers for my vid card, here's the dxdiag info (thanks in advance to anyone who can help, it's a small thing but his confused me):

Both xp pro... dunno why its not working, worked prior to this installation. Same model, same format, reinstall installation routine... not working do not. Help, please
If you have an OEM of XP Pro product key version and a CD of XP Pro retail, which will not work because they must be of the same type of XP Pro.
If both the key product AND the installation CD are for the same type of XP Pro (otherwise, they are all two OEM or they are two retailers), so you just need to be very careful when you enter the 25-character product key, be careful not to confuse an 8 with a B, a 5s etc.
