Windows 8 Pro not activating on my Windows 7 Professional

I bought a WINDOWS 8 Pro on Microsoft store and with a hope that I can be able to activate Windows 7 Professional, but every time I activate its brings a message saying ' ave error message saying 'a problem occurred when windows tried to activate. " Error code 0 x 00000279. I tried to download directly from the browser but it does not work and I downloaded using the Download Manager and it will load and about 30% of the load, it will say ' there was an error contact support. Please help me

    I suggest that you use the telephone method to activate. In a command prompt (ADMIN), type Slui 4, choose your country and follow the instructions.     I had Windows 8 Pro Portable one. I was using the developer preview of Windows 8.1 for awhile now.
    Now that the final version of W8.1 will be available next month, I thought to install Windows 8 and put my phone to receive 8.1.
    But now, the Pro 8 Win is not activating. I get a message that says that the key is not valid, and I need to get another key.
    Is it because I had Win Pro 8 approximately 2-3 months back that has been activated and I try to turn it on again?
    If this is the case, how can I get this product active now and download the Windows Pro 8.1 for me that I am eligible?

    Only the Windows 8 OEM System Builder licenses are full versions. The retail version of Windows 8 is not a full version, but an upgrade and requires a previous version of Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7 installed) in order to use it.

    Commercial versions of Windows 8.1 are full versions. Have different product keys is not a full version.

  • This copy of Windows is not activated. After replacing the hard drive. The activation window is empty.

    The activation window is empty. XP Pro SP3 + System (2 updates the version) beta of SP4 added due to problems of program. Build 2600.xpsp + sp3_gdr_101209-1647(Service Pack 3). Problem started after the replacement of the boot hard drive that wasn't. New drive has been a ghost of the old boot copy and active. Having the disk key and product to install but the CD won't deal with any problems indicating that the version of the program is different, probably because of upgrades SP. The program disk is that Windows XP Professional Service pack 2 Version 2002, Ref. 0304 x 10-52217 and has passed many tests for over the years of downloads genuine microsoft software.     Look at the WinSat.log file and see if it tells you what error... In addition, it was noted that Kaspersky 2010 is causing this problem.

  • "This copy of Windows is not activated?

    Our office has crashed to? virus? Back at the plant level. Desktop did not come with a recovery for XP Professional disk. Recovery disc of "Notebook", then was able to install XP w/Service Pack 2, I had previously bought from Best Buy. System would not accept the 'code' of XP discs, so I had to use the 'code' on the desktop (Code belonged to the XP Professional)

    Thought everything was OK until the next day received a notification "this copy of Windows is not activated. In order to hold an appropriate license, this copy of Windows must be enabled.
    Whatever that means & what is my next step? I looked in the "Add/Remove Programs" to see if both XP & XP Professional installed and cannot see each other.  But I see "2007 Microsoft Office System" that I had downloaded as an "advantage" of my work: Paychex, Inc..
    Help, please!
