Windows cannot remove your homegroup computer form

Hi all! I had difficulties to remove the computer from my dad in my old network homegroup. However it is stated below:

Someone please help.

Hi Christophe,

I understand that you cannot remove a computer from the home group.

This power is produced if a file has been corrupted and remove it got the operation of the PNRP service. The file has been re-created correctly when the PNRP service started upward. Here is the file for future reference:

C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore. OHS. "

I suggest check the link and check how can I remove a computer from a homegroup.

    Hello

I suggest to follow the steps provided and check if it helps.

Method 1: Temporarily disable firewall and antivirus on each machine.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks

    Method 2:
You can also follow these steps and check:
    a. go to the control panel and access the system and security.
    b. go to administrative tools and then double-click Services.
Locate and stop following 2 services, after that try to leave the homegroup. You can also set the startup type of the services to the people with reduced mobility.

  • Windows cannot reset your computer

My computer says windows cannot reset your computer... Please help me to reset my computer...

The original product key is embedded in the motherboard of the laptop UEFI firmware, so you're not going to lose...

If you restore using recovery media HP, which will retrieve the key automatically and reactivate the original OS.

However, you have already saved your PC running Win10 with Microsoft. So, if you decide to install Win10 instead, as long as you install the same version you already running, once the PC connects to the Internet, it will communicate with the Activation of MS servers and automatically reactivates.

    Good luck

  • error message "Windows cannot remove the password. "Password policy or account require the account has a password.

I am trying to remove a user administrator account or remove the password and I get the error message below. Also, I can't delete the password as an administrator in Windows 7 32 bit or delete the account. I get this error message "Windows cannot remove the password. "Password policy or account require the account has a password. I tried to create another admin account, but it does however not take away the password or delete the account else

Someone has put a policy on your machine to enforce some rules for passwords. Best is to ask that person to change these rules for you. Alternatively, you can run gpedit.msc, then follow this path to edit yourself: Local computer policy / Computer Configuration / Windows settings / security settings / account policy / password policy.

    Note also that:
-You cannot delete the built-in Administrator account.
-Administrator with a blank password accounts is a big security risk.

  • Old computer is dead, HARD drive still alive. Can I install windows 7 on your new computer without formatting the old HARD drive?

My old desktop computer recently died of a motherboard failure.  As I understand it, I should be able to install windows 7 from my old computer to the new, but only if I delete the old installation.

Does this mean that I have to format the old HARD drive?  Because the old computer HARD drive seems to be alive, I would retrieve the data on a new machine first, before I have to format and I need to install windows on the new computer to get the data from the old HARD drive.

No, it is taken on trust that the old installation is no longer active, there is no mechanism to remove the old license in order to make a valid new. Remove the Windows directory (or rename) makes the old system inoperative.

You find that the automatic authentication fails on new construction and need to call the licensing Center to check that you have only one installation. Apart from the OEM rules if a license has been activated too often, and recently, it fails in a 1 time.

  • blinkx program cannot remove from my computer

I installed blinkx to my computer and now I can't uninstall it. I followed the instructions to the Add/Remove Programs, but he informs me that it is not recognized my "C program... '. "or something similar to this.

    Help

I fell on the same subject.  I deleted the program via Control Panel > programs and features, but it left the screensaver on my computer.  After a little research I found that the screen saver files was saved in the C:\windows\system32 folder.  Find the ssblinkx.scr file and delete it.

This will get rid of the screen saver.

    Good luck.

  • old files of windows - cannot remove - access denied

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query to the Microsoft forum. I will definitely help you with this.

This problem occurs because the Recycle Bin does not recognize mounted volumes. For example, assume that the structure of the next unit is used:

C drive is drive 1 gigabyte (1 GB) that uses the NTFS file system.
C:\Host-dir is the mount point for a separate 9-GB drive.

If you try to delete a folder with the path C:\Host-dir\Mydir, Windows Explorer interprets the folder as being on drive C and tries in vain to move it to the trash on the C drive.

Use the SHIFT + DELETE key combination. This allows to bypass the Recycle Bin.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you run the command in elevated command prompt and see if it helps below.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
    • TAKEOWN /F C: /A

4 then try to run the following command.

    • TAKEOWN /F C:

This will give you the admin and your permissions of full account to all files on the C: drive

Method 2: Activate hidden admin account

    1. press Windows + R keyboard button.

    2. type cmd in the run bar.

    3. in the command prompt , type this command: net user administrator / Active: Yes

    4. press enter and restart the computer.

Try to delete the folder Window.old .

If you are able to do so disable the hidden admin account.

To do this, follow the steps:

    1. press Windows + R keyboard button.

    2. type cmd in the run bar.

    3. in the command prompt , type this command: net user administrator / active: No.

    4. press enter and restart the computer.

  • Cannot remove/extract a multipage form...

I created a 2 page form, it is 4 x 6, the other is 8.5 x 11.  The form is not bound to a data source.  When I open the form, manually add data and save it I'm unable to extract one of the pages in a separate .pdf file, to insert/extract/replace/remove options are grayed out.  The data entered on the two forms have global links, so it's the same data on each page.  All different text and image fields are listed under a separate "subform" for each page, rather than the Master Pages in the hierarchy. Is there a way to extract or did I do something wrong with the form or the hierarchy structure?

These features are not available when you work with a XFA forms generated using the designer (static or dynamic) within Acrobat.

  • "Windows could not remove your computer from homegroup."

I have a laptop and a desktop computer which have been the two participaing in a homegroup.  It no longer works, so I tried to "leave the homegroup" of these two machines, who intend to recreate.  Furthermore, standard networking and file sharing is always present.  The Bureau has allowed me to leave the homegroup, but I get the message "Windows could not remove your homegroup computer" on the laptop.  I ran several times the convenience of network with homegroup on both machines.  I also did some research and tried everything I could find on the web, without success.  Please tell me how can I reset the settings of homegroup on my laptop. Mark S. Freeman

Here's a solution that might work.  It worked for me.

"Studied the issue and found the solution. A file has been corrupted and remove he got running PNRP service. The file has been re-created correctly when the PNRP service started upward. Here is the file for future reference:

  • HP ENVY 700-059c: 10 Windows cannot set up a homegroup on this computer

The message I get when I try to put in place a homegroup on this computer is "Windows cannot configure a homegroup on this computer". I tried everything that was suggested on troubleshooting of the forums that I searched the web on this problem but without success. I am trying to create a network with your computer and a Dell 64 bit of Windws 10 laptop.
Two computers on the same workgroup and I can set up a homegroup on the Dell, but when I try to join the homegroup on the HP I get the same error message. It has been suggested that I have delete the Group residential Dell and put in place a new homegroup on the HP, but HP won't let me set up a new group of residential. Where am I wrong?

As I said in my last post, I had no chance to get all of my network to the top, but after going through the fixes proposed by WAWood I realized that fixation on the establishment of a group residential wasn't getting me anywhere. I decided to search the web forums for a solution for the operation of "Peer Networking Grouping" of service, something I had not been able to do (strangely enough by clicking on the button 'Start' a billion times has absolutely nothing) since this mess began. Here are the procedures that seemed most likely to have success. First test was to change the registry using a suggestion of:

    http://www.tenforums.com/network-sharing/9691-computer-can-not-join-create-HomeGroup.html

Modify the key to register IPv6 to enable IPV6
    ==========================
    a. Click Start, type regedit in the search bar and then click regedit in the list programs.
Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    b. look for, and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TCPIP6\Parameters
    c. check whether the "DisabledComponents" registry key exists. If so, move on the next steps.
    d. double-click "DisabledComponents" registry key and change the value to 0.
(If the key does not exist, please create the above key and assign a value of 0)
    e. exit the registry editor and then restart the computer.

So far no change. On the next dose of:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/Win7/archive/2011/02/16/quot-peer-name-resolution-protocol-quot-service-could-not-be-started-and-HomeGroup-is-not-working.aspx

    1. from the high CMD prompt, type the following command:

    net stop p2pimsvc /y

    2 delete the following file:

    'C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst '.

    3. restart the computer.

These two patches, apparently has not changed anything, but when I went back to Services and double clicked on grouping network of peers, and then clicked on the 'Connect' tab I found that the "Local System account" is selected and the box "Allow service to interact with desktop" was checked. Since I knew my many visits in this tab that it wasn't the way it was configured initially, I checked the properties of the service directly under it (Peer Networking Identity Manager) the tab 'Connect' showed that this account has been selected, and the term "Local Service" was in the right text box to the right of this account. In the two boxes just below this text box were two boxes labeled password and confirm password boxes contained 14 points. I decided it looked a lot like what I remember that the log on tab of the properties of "Peer Networking Grouping" dialog box has been initially configured. I returned to the journal of Peer Networking Grouping tab and made properties the following steps.

Chose "This account" and deselect "Local System account".

"Local Service" text typed into the text box next to "this account".

Delete all the points in the 'Password' and 'Confirm password' boxes

    Clicked on apply

Clicked on the tab general and click the button start (Yay he actually started)

    Restarted the computer

From there on, I was able to set up a homegroup, and then I was able to reach him this homegroup on my laptop connected wireless and viola, I have a network.

Thanks to WAWood for set me on the path to try to get the 'Peer Networking Grouping' service running as my ultimate goal.
