Whenever I have leave windows live mail, I get the following message - "Windows live mail has stopped working. Windows can try to restart the program. "Although it is not impacting on all mail entries, it is annoying and I can't stop from popping up next time I have quit the program. This also happens for any other program 'live', that I run. I'm frustrated. I tried the process of repair, but in vain. Suggestions?

I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop - clean, no upgrade. It's in the CARDS and not a copy of the beta version. When I try to connect to a network share, I get an error. "Windows Explorer has stopped working". If I go to start > run and type in \\servername\users, I'm prompted credentials. I enter domainname\administrator, then the password, as soon as I get an error message indicating that "Windows Explorer has stopped working" then by «Windows Explorer restarts...» "and then refreshes the screen. If I open computer > network > Servername, I invite myself again for credentials, but get the same message. The name of username/password combo does not seem to make a difference.
An additional singularity, I went to control panel > "Backup of your computer", and when I was invited to a network location back up my system, I gave him the same set of location and network credential and the system have been successfully saved to the network drive.
Press Win Logo key + R, type: fsmgmt.msc
If so, open the credentials manager in Control Panel and look for an entry like your network logon. Delete who can clear up.

Photoshop no longer works when I try to print a specific image.
I use Photoshop C6. I am trying to print a photo I printed before, and now when I try to print again, it mean PS has stopped working. This happens only when I try to print. I don't get the same message with other photos and printed successfully other photos after the accident. I'm confused as to what's wrong with this one specific image that makes the entire system to stop working. I could use some help I need to print this picture right for a customer as soon as possible. Thank you very much!
Hi Denise,
I suggest you print the image of any other application outside Photoshop and see if you are able to print it or not.
Also try to reset the printing preferences, click on file > print (hold down the space bar).It should reset the printing preferences, reset the settings and then try to print.

Window and the mouse crashes when you try to close the windows
Original title: window crashes when you click on the red X
I use Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit platform). Just recently, when I right click on the red X in the upper right to close a window, the window and the cursor freezing for about fifteen seconds. The window then closes, and the slider works normally.
This happens to my office, although my laptop (same operating system Vista, except for the 32-bit version) works normally. I use CCleaner on a regular basis, and I have the latest version of AVG anti-virus and Microsoft Security Essentials installed. This Setup has worked well for over a year. This problem appeared only in the last 24 hours.

Hello, Mr. the President Y. K..
First, as soon as the computer and then restarting it later in the day, the question has not repeated itself. I had read on Google that people with this problem a couple of years, were not so lucky.
I have not addded any software, except to perform Windows updates usual a week ago. The suddenness of the appearance of my problem led me to believe that these patches were probably not at fault. When I went to log on to this second time, I had planned to restore the system to a previous backup to see if that gave me work around the problem. However, it was not necessary.
No error message appears when the problem occurred, and the problem was if I was in the office or on the Internet. Nevertheless, I intend to register your comments useful diagnosis for later use, and for your efforts, thank you very much!
Kind regards
Gordon

Please start with the basics:
The first Question of troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what has changed between the time things worked and the time they do not have?
The second issue of Windows troubleshooting: what is the status of virus/malware of the machine? If you think it's clean, what programs (and versions) allows you to determine this?

My windows Explorer stops working when I try to use the file menu on a file.
My windows Explorer stops working when I try to use the file menu on a file. If a file is selected in a folder that windows Explorer will be display Windows Explorer has stopped working the message box. This occurs only if a file is already selected and you click on the file option in the menu bar. All the other menu items work well if a file is selected or not, and if no file is selected the menu file works fine. I already ran SFC/scannow from the command prompt, but it returns no violation.

I tried refreshing. I tried to start in safe mode. Still not working when I try to type a URL.
Maybe that is, although I don't think I have seen it reported on before Mac:
Due to the change how Firefox 39 associate keywords to bookmarks and history, the address bar is newly sensitive to corruption in the database that stores your history and bookmarks (the places.sqlite file).
The developers are working on a solution, but that could take weeks to reach you.
At this point, the best solution is to delete/rename the places.sqlite file, but then you lose all your history, if this really isn't very attractive to people who rely on history to revisit the sites.
In case you want to try this - in case you do not receive the best suggestions - here's how:
Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
- (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
In the first table of the page, click on the 'show in Finder' (Windows: "Show the file") button. This should launch a new window that lists your folders and files of different parameters.
Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and Quit/exit, either:
- "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
- (menu bar) Firefox > Quit (Windows: File > Exit)
Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename places.sqlite to something like oldplaces.sqlite. (I'm not suggesting delete this file, just in case you find yourself in need again).
Firefox creates temporary files related to places.sqlite and those should be renamed / remove as well. Check places.sqlite - shm and places.sqlite - wal and if you find them, rename them as well.
When you start Firefox back up again, he should start a new database places.sqlite and import your last backup automatic bookmark. Can you confirm that all your bookmarks are present? The address bar works normally again?
