Windows Media Player 12 playlist drag function

I had this problem for a long time and I tried to deal just with her, but seriously, it's pretty boring.

When I want to rearrange the songs in my playlist (for example, move a piece from the bottom to the top), it takes literally 5 minutes to get to the top. In other words, it just scrolls very slowly, as I remember in the past (on other versions of Windows Media Player), that I would be able to scroll to the top of the playlist and drop the song there in 2 seconds.
I thought it might be my mouse at first, but I tried another mouse and same problem.
Any suggestions?

  • Window Media Player - print playlist / cannot burn CD playback.

I use Window Media Player-how can I print a playlist I created. I can't copy in MS Word for example. Also when I burn a CD, it will play on my computer but not my home CD Player - how do I fix this? Thank you

    Hello

Step 1: To print a list of created play in Media Player, you will need to use a third party software. Online search using your favorite search engine to get it.

DISCLAIMER of THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Step 2: If you burn a disc of data with music files and does not have in your mobile, home, or car CD player, check the following:

    ·          Your CD player may not support playback of CD or data DVD discs. Refer to the documentation for the CD Player for more details.

    ·          The CD can be burned to media, such as CD - RW, which is not compatible with the CD player. Refer to the documentation for the CD Player for more details.

    ·          Your CD player may not support playback of the type of music files burned on the disc (WMA or MP3). Refer to the documentation for the CD Player for more details.

    ·          The songs may be protected by copyrights. Other computers may be able to acquire usage rights and play the songs if they have a connection to the Internet, but devices such as radio cars and portable CD players will not be able to acquire these rights, so protected content will be unplayable.

    ·          The CD cannot have been closed when it burned. You can usually solve this problem by adding more songs to the burn list, then you are close to the maximum capacity of the CD. Then, try to burn the list again for a new CD.

  • Windows Media Player 11 Date added function - please stop repeating the date for EACH file.

I have been using Media Player 9, decided to upgrade to Windows Media Player 11, and the only thing I can not stand on Player 11 is how it sorts Date added media files.  In Player 9 when I chose the column Date added, the program would list all the files on a given under a SINGLE date.  With Windows Media Player 11 it lists EACH file with a date so that instead of see Tuesday, December 14, 2010 once and then listing all of the files under it, I see Tuesday, December 14, 2010 about twenty times.  I download podcasts once a week and dump it on my phone, but it's a worry now.  Is it possible to stop Windows Media Player 11 to repeat the date again and again and force him to the date that the list only once?  Think back to Player 9.  Alex

    Hi Alex103,

It's design in Windows media player 11 and it is also included in Windows Media player 12.

However, you can uncheck this option, follow the steps below:

    a. open windows Media player

    b. right-click on one of the sorted column

    c. click Choose column

    d. uncheck data added

  • Windows media player 10 playlist order mutation during synchronization

V10 of WMP on XP SP3

I have my songs in my playlist, but when I sync them with my MP3 player, they come out in a completely different order.  For example I have songs in order in a playlist:

    1

    2

    3

    4

    5

    But when synchronized

    3

    2

    5

    4

    1

Same problem for every playlist regardless of their size. Shuffle is not lit on WMP.

At first I thought that the problem was with my MP3 player.  It's a Sony NWZ - W252 (B).  I formatted and reset It has always worked well, the same order as WMP playlists.  Shuffle is not turned on the MP3 player.

I did a test, I made a copy the same playlist but revised the order of song to what order out on the mp3 player after synchronization.  When I synced playlist changed, it not reorganize itself, he remained the same order as the original after synchronization, as if the songs have some fixed order.  But there is no logic in the order that the songs themselves in arranged after syncing, I compared the sort order of the options and file size but no match, so it has nothing to do with the size of file or sorting.

This problem just started to happen suddenly and without reason, I have not installed/uninstalled/improved/changed anything.  One day it was working fine, the other the problem started.  The only thing I noticed at the time was that Norton has found an infected file and instructed me to delete what I did.  So unless my WMP is somehow damaged by a virus.

I considered uninstalling and reinstalling WMP but I don't want to lose anything... I'm not sure if I could import it back all my music files? and if I have to reselect the location of each file that would take forever.

It was my MP3 player, I had to keep me pressed a button on my MP3 player instead of simply pressing it... silly.

  • Impossible to copy files to the Sansa Fuze using Windows 7 (drag and drop, or Windows Media Player)

    Hello

Yesterday, I bought the Sansa Fuze and I have problems copying files to the device using either Windows Media Player (Sync) or Drag and Drop (Explorer).

    The symptoms are:

    (1) the device is recognized and available in Windows 7 (Series USB MSC - sorry don't have it with me right now)

    (2) took me to upgrade to the latest firmware, which has worked flawlessly

    (3) when I try to drag and drop a file on the device (I use Windows 7, 64-bit), it starts, but doesn't seem to calculate the size of the files or waiting time to download correctly.  It is followed by a slow progressive, until the computer crashes, resulting in a constant 100% of the CPU.  The only solution is a hard reboot

    (4) when you use Windows WM, the device is recognized, okay and the synchronization starts, but it then stops without reason.  Once again, the processor springs and requires a reboot

    (5) using the results 3 and 4 in 1-5 files being copied across, but not more.

    (6) I tried several albums and one album at a time, but cannot determine if that makes a difference.

    Help, please!

    See you soon,.

    Richard

It may be a bug in Windows 7. But one thing to try is to go to the Device Manager (assuming that Windows 7 still has), uninstall the "rocket" (under USB controllers), and then run add hardware to find and reinstall the driver.

Use the MTP with Windows Media Player mode, MSC mode without.

  • Windows Media Player-how create a playlist

    howdoicreateaplaylist?

I just got a laptop, don't have a clue on how to create playlists?

Open Windows media player.  On the side right of the window see you 3 tabs, click the tab game and displays the reading pane.

1 drag selected titles / tracks in this pane groups

or select the titles / groups of tracks, do a right click, add to, Playlist

2 at the time at the top of the reading pane, there is a backup button.  Click on it and it will give you the chance to give it a name.  It will record this name playlist in the Playlists of music / [or the Playlists subfolder in what you chose for your music folder].

3 you can then play the list just like you can read an album or anything else.  If the playlists do not appear in the left hand "navigation pane" in WMP, click on organize, customize navigation pane & you can select them to be shown.

Note: I talked to someone who had a problem, save playlists.  It is then rendered in the music folder in Windows Explorer and manually created Playlists subfolder.  The function of economy playlist then behaved correctly.

There are also "auto-playlists' [created for each album ripped, I think] but you have to pick them up in Windows help pages that I've not used since WinXP so anything I said maybe garbage - they could not exist more for as far as I know.

What is the info you hoped?

  • Playlist becomes empty after the computer restarts in Windows Media Player 11.

    Original title: Media Player.

I have a problem with the playlist in windows media player 11, everything works fine, except for the playlist, I created different playlist and arrange everything very well, but after I close wmp and open it again the playlist is empty, so I have to drag my lists or the song once again to the playlist. Is it possible that I can keep the songs added to the playlist everytime I closed and reopened wmp?

Well, I tried everything but no success, I also tried on a new netbook with windows 7 and windows media player 12 installed, and still the same problem persists. Moreover, these are the original versions of windows. So the only solution I've found with my xp computer was to uninstall wmp 11 and back to wmp 9 series, I don't have this problem with this version. Also, I think that wmp 9 series is better, more intuitive and friendly interface.

    Thanks anyway.
