  Research in the Bios (reboot and press F1 or F2 depending on your system, check that all usb options are enabled (for example, USB legacy or support for USB 2.0 devices).)

  Then, find the boot device priority section

  Looks like there could be a problem with the hard drive. its certainly worth running some tests on if possible. It is a dell machine you may be able to run a hard drive test when the computer starts by using the f8 key, but if not you must download a free software called theultimatebootcd and burn it to a cd and then start the computer on the cd and use the software on the disk to perform checks on the hard drive.   3. disable all virtual rom you like "farston Virtual cd or dvd driver image.
