Answer tells me "good driver is installed", but same error is always there [31 i.e.Code] how to find the right driver? or make this a function?

Hello Baron,

Thanks for the prompt response, I understand that it might be frustrating if experience you problems when you use the computer.

I would also like to inform you that you need to install the latest drivers and uninstall devices Device Manager network adapter wireless. I'm sorry for providing incorrect suggestions in the previous post. I made the necessary changes and would be asked to follow the steps to uninstall the device manager network device, then install the latest drivers wireless on the manufacturer's Web site.

Ideally, drivers for the device are developed by the manufacturer of the device and Microsoft works in cooperation with the manufacturer of the device to expand the area of driver updated, in some scenarios, may result in corrupt drivers confront these updates.

It is not required to uninstall the program from drivers in the list of programs, if you are not comfortable with the steps, I ask you to directly install the latest drivers for the card wireless from the link provided below.

  • Linksys wireless-g usb network adapter unable to detect the router using windows XP desktop PC

I've changed in broadband Orange yesterday and since then my adapter is unable to find the network (it was working fine with TalkTalk until I changed).

He managed to find a couple of other networks that are nearby but nothing else.

I have a laptop (windows 7) who finds the router Orange immediately. I tested the adapter with the laptop and it finds the router Orange plus about 10 other nearby networks.

I rang Orange who crossed their tests and not found any problems. I uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter on the windows XP desktop, but I get the same result.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the reply.

I got it finally work last night after a day of cleaning up!

Even if the network does not have to be detected in the available wireless networks "choose" I tried the "New Connection Wizard" and entered all the details that came with the router. The adapter found the Orange router but nothing else in the region.

For now, it works but there is a problem somewhere, because I don't see any networks, I can see on my laptop.

    See you soon.

    tried to uninstall even
tried the 3rd driver manager advantage but only to see mobile as U500 not U50 (no provision)
    Driver details
athwbx.sys file worm 10.0.0.301 latest version (looked in the sys32/victory/drivers date modified 17/10/14? 4.03 MB?) I think that download was 39 MB)

I found the page sheet of laptop here:

But unfortunately, the page provides no details on the integrated WLan module.

However, all the drivers are available here:

and the Atheros WLan driver win 8.1 has the version number: 10.0.0.308

  • Satellite L50-B-1DZ - wireless network adapter does not work

So, my network wireless adapter completely stopped working. 2 days ago I couldn't connect to networks wirelessly without problem (although I've disconnected and will need to run the troubleshooter every few hours to reset it...), but yesterday I started to get the message "not connected - no connection is available. In broadcom 802.11n network adapter in Device Manager, the icon has a yellow warning symbol and the error message "this device cannot start. Code 10 ".

I tried to update the drivers, but it gives just the same error message. I also tried to do a restore of the system since a week ago, but it has not fixed either.

I found a youtube video that said that the problem can be caused by a software conflict and change value from registry, but that no longer works, and now I'm full of ideas.

How have you tried to update the driver WLan?
Have you tried to uninstall the driver first, and then after reboot again to install the new driver downloaded from Toshiba UE driver page?

    Try it!

You said you reset the system in the past?
How? Have you used the Toshiba recovery procedure and have you installed already preinstalled system once more?

  • Satellite P15-8409, Atheros wireless network adapter problem

Hello. I'm having a frustrating problem with an old laptop Satellite P15. I restored the phone to default settings using the recovery disk that the system was working very badly. After that, the wireless network adapter has stopped working. In the Device Manager "Atheros AR5001X + Wireless Network Adapter" is marked with a yellow exclamation point. In the menu properties, under general, the State of the device the following is listed:

The device cannot find enough free resources that it can use (code 12)

The operating system is Windows XP Home Edition. The same problem has been present in SP1, SP2 and SP3. I also updated the BIOS to V2, but it also did not help.

At work, we use a wireless internet connection. At home, I have a DSL connection. Curiously, when I plugged the network cable to the House, the yellow exclamation mark disappeared and a wireless connection icon appeared in the network connections window. I assumed that the problem has been resolved by updating to Windows; However when I brought the computer in the office, the wireless adapter was once more in the State I described.

I searched the internet for the same problem, but was unable to find anything. I would be very happy to help.

    all the best,

    James

BIOS version is installed on your machine? And you have you recently changed some hardware etc...?

I don't know what it could be, but in the worst cases, the wlan card has certain shortcomings. You can check this by getting somewhere such an atheros wlan card or intel and install it instead of the one installed.

Maybe the exchange of cards should solve this problem?

    Welcome them

  • Satellite L500 - wireless network adapter disappeared

    Satellite L500 model PSLS0A-084002.

Wireless network adapter is not listed under network adapters in the devices menu. FN does not display the wireless tab. There is no off / switch for the wireless on this laptop model. In the BIOS, the wireless LAN is selected ON.

Switch OFF wireless and then re-start and then plug the wireless, and then re-bots don't find out the wireless adapter.

Other messages suggest the update of the BIOS. Running version 1.9. ersion 2.1 is available. When I try to run the update: code error-144. BIOS is not flashable.

    Clues please?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Colin9999,

Before you start with the update of the BIOS, you should try to install the latest driver WLAN you can get on the official website of Toshiba. It seems that you have an Australian model laptop to check the Australian page here:
    www.MyToshiba.com.au > Support > downloads

After installing the latest driver WLAN check the status again.

BIOS update error could be related to missing value added package. Have you installed this tool from Toshiba?
Run the update as an administrator?

  • Wireless network adapter

Bear with me, my computer knowledge is limited... Long story short, my wireless does not connect due to a malfunction with my wireless network adapter, that has a yellow exclamation next to tell him: device cannot start (code 10). It is fine, but what I do to start? I tried deactivation and activation. Did not help. I have a R500 and the wireless adapter is an adapter 6T 04. Someone knows what to do? Thank you!

    Dierdre salvation,

Thanks for reporting back that you got your work wireless and Merry Christmas to you and your partner of big-man-hands. (Do not forget to thank the next time it opens a jar for you... )

And Kudos to Lenovo for the re-liberation of ThinkVantage System Update (TVSU) and keep it updated. It is a very practical tool.

  • my computer does not have an installed and configured wireless network adapter

I just installed a new hard drive on my computer of dell inspiron 1525. I am not very computer but I managed to do it and it works. I had a disc from dell to reinstall windows vista edition Home premium 32-bit and had drivers and utilities dvd. However, I can't connect to the internet. He always tells me that I have not installed and configured wireless network card. When I go into computer management, there is no network adapter. There are "other devices" which device base system list three times with properties that say that the drivers for this device are not installed (code 28) but it won't let you not reinstall drivers and to be honest, I don't even know what the "other devices". There is also an ethernet controller that says the same thing. A network controller and the properties say he has not configured corr. (code 1) but won allow you to install because windows cannot find the driver for the device. He says that if you know the FAB of the device, you can visit the site Web-manufacturer of this device? As you can see, I'm not very computer. So, how can I connect to the internet. I have Verizon wireless at home. Thank you.

well, I think that I thought about it. I right click on each of them separately, and I think I can have it now.

    Thank you

It is possible that the drivers you use, even if later now available, are not

solution? And I would update your WiFi drivers on computers. How far away are they
you have set in the router? Are there obstacles in the path?

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click
top - tab of the driver - write version - click on update driver (can't do
nothing that MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Then right click on the Wifi
Device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system Maker you can see the same device manufacturer
more recent versions. (Those become your fonts of rescue system manufacturer).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other update

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5510y of: No. Wireless Network Adapter installed

I just bought a Pavilion Slimline S5510Y Desktop opportunity; not an installed wireless network adapter.   Y at - it somewhere that I can download the map?

Here is the PAGE of SUPPORT for this office.  It doesn't have a wireless adapter.  It has a wired aka the installed ethernet card.  The wireless adapter is a piece of hardware and must be purchased, not downloaded.  There are choices in the type would work better for you - USB or PCI x 1.  It may depend on the type of network you want to use.  The new highspeed options may require an adapter corresponding to the specification of network router in order to achieve faster speeds of the AC.  If you look at the "n" speeds then most can do.  Also be aware of the bands 2.4 and 5 GHz for newer routers.  If all this sounds "Greek", then perhaps seek help from a friend.
