  • How to configure a printer wireless connected to Time Capsule?

I just bought a printer HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M577z MFP Flow. It has capabilities of wireless printing. So far, I was able to connect wirelessly to one of my MacBook Pro computers, but only by having the printer create an Ad - hoc network that allows up to 5 devices to connect to the printer. But that of not what I want because every computer should manually disconnect the Wi - Fi network, connect to the Ad hoc network, the print job and then reconnect to the Wi - Fi network whenever a print job is required. It is very difficult and frustrating.

What I would like is striking is the printer act like a network printer by wireless connection to my Time Capsule. I can't connect the printer to the USB port of time Capsule because they are far away from each other, and I don't want to use cables throughout my place. But I have no idea on how to do it because I can't find this option in the menu of the writer or configuration of the United Nations the HP utility software.

I hope someone here could help me, please. Thank you!

I have an Epson printer, so some of my experiences may or may not apply.

I also have a time Capsule, and my printer and Time Capsule are far apart.

My current configuration looks exactly what you are looking for: a wireless network provided by Time Capsule than all my Apple devices to a wireless connection, and my printer connects to the same wireless network.

When I first bought the Epson printer, I needed to connect it to the Capsule of time via a USB port.  This sounds as if it were true for you as well.  So, for this very short period. I moved the printer via the USB port next to the printer, the connected Time Capsule, made the setup and then the printer recognized my standard wireless network.  I've returned to steady state, which I use now, with the printer and the far (actually on different floors) Time Capsule.

  • Lack of wireless connection continues

I just bought a new laptop.

The problem I have is keeps him without cutting wire. I think its something to do with the free Config software that has been installed on it. I can connect using the config of fancy free stuff, but the connection will go just every 10 minutes or more. Thanks to the tools of wireless connection of normal windows that lists your wireless settings it says I am not connected to my wireless, but if I try to click on it it says that I'm disconecting from him. I think what is happening is normal windows wireless attempts to connect every time that a whilse and it disconnects me free of config. Bottom right the ICO wireless normmal says not connected and free config says that it is connected. When the dialog box appears and says "can not conntect to your favorite network" he cut my connection.

Help! It's driving me crazy, if I thought that I could just remove free config and use normal windows stuff then I would but disabling, it left me no internet at all and I'm afraid to remove drivers, or something important.

Maybe someone could provide a solution because of you, but I doubt that this would be not possible without knowing the right laptop model and the preinstalled operating system

In addition, I put t understand why you use Configfree to connect WiFi, you can use this tool for diagnosis offers, but if you want to establish the WiFi connection then I recommend using WLan parameters of Windows or the Intel ProSet utility (if card Intel WLan) or Atheros Wlan Utility (if Atheros WLan card.)

PS: update driver WLan if possible...

  • Satellite L505-13F - impossible to activate the wireless connection

Hello, I have connectivity problems with my Satellite L505-13F.

I can't turn on the wireless connection. I press Fn + F8 and nothing happens. The indicator at the bottom of the laptom turns on.

I though this would be a problem with the drivers. I downloaded realtek wlan driver here [http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads], but it has not installed correctly. Then I used the toshiba software installer, but yet again, nothing has changed. I have Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

Device management, I have seen that I installed a wifi driver. (Realtek RTL8191SE Wirelless Lan...) So, what the problem is?

    Any suggestions?

    Hey,.

Something happens if you press other keys FN or FN + F8 doesn't work only? Normally with this key combination you can enable/disable wireless network card.

In addition, it would be interesting to know what happens if you are looking for WLAN networks. You see your WLAN router?

If all the keys FN n t work, reinstall the package of added value and utility to Support Flash Cards. Otherwise, it could be another problem and you should reinstall the driver again and make sure the firewall isn't blocking the connection.

    See you soon

  • No wireless connection on A100-181

My A100-181 is a month. I managed to have an ADSL (broadband) internet connection at home with Orange France using their Livebox. The connection worked using a USB and a wireless connection using the built-in Atheros wireless installation. However, for the last week, I was unable to establish the wireless connection! The Livebox is synchronized and my cell phone work the front desk, but are unable to connect to the computer and the Livebox! I spent 3 hours on the phone with Orange technicians who tell me now that my wireless card must be verified by Toshiba, as the Livebox is very well (so they tell me). I need to download the latest drivers for my wireless card? Should I delete and start from scratch by using the restore CD? Wireless card function perfectly and then suddenly stop working? I would be grateful for any advice.

    Hello

First of all please check if Device Manager wireless network card is correctly recognized.
If it you will not find any yellow exclamation so I guess that the NIC wireless and other devices are working properly.
So don't forget to turn on the Wlan switch on the side of the laptop and use the function FN + F8

You wrote that you use the Atheros WLan utility. In this case the Windows WLan configuration must be disabled because the Atheros controls the WLan configuration.
I put t know if you encrypted you WLan but I recommend disabling this option to test the connection. You can activate it later.
Please also check if the MAC addresses of filtering is disabled on the router.

Well, of course, you can try to update the WLan driver. For this, you can consult the page of the Toshiba driver.

I bought 2 notebooks to Christmas for children, but cannot get them to connect to the wireless connection.

I contacted Toshiba helpdesk and they want to contact me my internet provider.
I'm a bit confused at this but as I have other laptops and they had no problem.

I can see the connection, but it wont let me connect saying something like "(Impossible de se connecter àle réseau local sans fil-c-15) '? '."

Laptops are L500 and I tried to update the driver but there seems to be a problem with that too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

First of all it is important to know if your router is configured correctly.
The WLan router must be configured with all the data from ISP (internet service provider).

You said that other laptops can successfully connect to the Wlan router, so I guess that the router is configured properly.

    Now, you should check the WLan settings books;

-WiFi must be enabled. To do this, you need to use the FN + F8 key combination. The small Wlan icon will appear.
-After that, you have to choose; you will use own WLan configuration options of Windows or you must use a third-party tool 3rd as utility of Atheros Wlan or Intel Proset wireless wifi connection utility.
-WLan parameters must contain the right SSID (name of the Wlan), the right encryption and password.
-In the WLan connection TCP/IP Protocol, IP and DNS settings must be defined to automatically get
-The MAC address filtering should be disabled in the router configuration if you don t want to insert the available wireless network cards unique MAC addresses

  • Wireless fails & can't get wireless connection tab is displayed

I can't connect to the Internet wirelessly. I have a Dell Latitude E6510 with a Half-Mini of WLAN Wireless-N DW1501 card.  According to the website of Dell and the Dell technician who tried to help me, I in fact installed the right driver for the card: the DW WLAN Card Utility.

The driver recognizes my U-Verse (router) gateway, but my browser cannot see the web. I've tried everything I can think of but to no avail. I tried:
    turn on/off Wireless Auto Configuration
-deactivation of the DW WLAN Card Utility
-modification of the parameters of the utility (for example, turning off the option to let the utility manage wireless)
    -Uninstall and reinstall the utility

VERY IMPORTANT: A constant is that the wireless network connection dialog box does not always display the Wireless Connection tab. I think if I can just come back to this tab, I can have Windows configure my wireless and everything will be fine.

  • but wireless connection can't get all web pages for display on any browser

connected to a wireless connection but can't get all web pages for display on any browsersit is connected with good strengh but does not connect

    Hello

What happens when you connect to the router via a wired connection?

Method 1: Reset the Internet (TCP/IP) Protocol:

One of the components of the Internet connection on your computer is a package of instructions called TCP/IP. TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or altered. If you are unable to connect to the Internet, TCP/IP can be causing it.

TCP/IP is a main component of Windows, you cannot delete it. However, you can reset TCP/IP to its original state by using the NetShell (netsh) utility. Reference:

    Reference:

How to reset the Internet (TCP/IP) Protocol:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

Method 2: Reset the default Hosts file

The "hosts" file is an important Windows system file which maps hostnames to IP addresses. Its a simple text file that is stored in the folder "%windir%\System32\drivers\etc\" in Windows NT, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008 and Windows 7 32-bit editions. In the 64-bit editions, it can be also stored in the folder "%windir%\SysWOW64\drivers\etc\".

Structure of the hosts file is very simple. It contains lines of text containing the IP address, followed by the host name.

Sometimes this hosts file is hijacked by viruses, adware, spyware or Trojan software and is changed to redirect your browser to various websites containing malicious code. It could also block security Web sites and the Windows Update Web site in your system so that you can not install virus definitions and security updates in your operating system.

  • Installed wireless Belkin, unable to see network, get error windows cannot configure this wireless connection and starting the WZC abuse

    Hello

I have a belkin wireless router that worked on my primary computer and a portable computer for years.

Recently, I moved my main computer and now it dosnt seem to work. Belkin is installed but when I ask to see available networks, it says that windows cannot configure this wireless connection and starting the WZC abuse. Belkin still works fine on my laptop so I know no there is not a problem here. Can someone help me please? I tried to type in %SystemRoot%\system32\services.mcs\s as with a question of people, but all I get is windows can't find this.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you

    * original title - Help... problem with belkin wireless *.

Let's see if I can cut through it.

    You wrote:

Click the Wireless Networks (see this picture) - I did

Is the box 'Use Windows to configure my wireless network' checked or unchecked? There is no such box.

I connect using - he says belkin. another box saying this connection uses the following items. then underneath there are 3 tabs - install, uninstall and properties. If I press on properties it says name provider and in this box, it says windows index.

It seems that you don't have not clicked the "Wireless networks" tab, after you open the properties of your wireless adapter.  From your description, you look at the 'Général' tab: click HERE to see the "Général" tab Click HERE to see the 'Wireless Networks' tab.

There are 5 columns: name, description, status, startup type and log as.  The values for the last 3 columns should be started, automatic and Local System - on my screen there are 4 tabs at the top - general, connect you, recovery and dependency.

You skipped a step... 5 columns are in the 'Services' window initial... you arrive at "4 tabs at the top", AFTER you double-click the Wireless Auto Configuration.

Status of the service which includes 4 boxes. stop suspend and resume. the button highlighted in the start menu

Just to the right of the expression "Service status", you should see a Word.  On your system, this word probably is "stopped."  The 4 buttons (boxes) are how to control the service.  Because you said that the highlighted button is 'start' which means that the service is currently stopped, and you will need to click on this button "start" to start.

I strongly suspect that you had used the Belkin utility to control your adapter - and now, you also started WZC.  As I wrote above, you can have both running at the same time.

When you click the icon of your "Belkin", do you have a screen that looks like this: http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/img/2006/belkinn1/08.jpg

If so, you should return to the utility Services and 'Stop' the automatic configuration service.  If you want to use WZC instead of the Belkin utility, see http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/40/related/1

I'm not familiar with the Belkin Wireless networking utility, but many wifi manufacturer utilities can be used to turn your wifi on and off, then maybe your was off (the adapter on your computer - not the router).  If you identify the model of the card you have in your main computer, I'll see if I can find the manual on the Belkin website and maybe give you a little more information.

  • Internet connection not working is not wireless, connected to two networks

I have a problem connecting to the internet via the wireless connection. With a cable, I can connect to the home network and the internet. However with the radio, I have local access to the home network. In the network and sharing Center, it shows that I am connected to the home network but also to another unidentified network. When I click the Diagnostics button to see why there is no internet connection, he said that the problem is that there is more than one connection and that I should remove one of them. When I disconnect the network or unidentified network, they have both disconnect. I tried to reset the wireless adapter, reset the router and do a system restore and none of these worked. Old laptops use to come with very little memory.  Since then, software exceed the amount of memory installed

Check the amount of memory you have and see if you can upgrade.

You can find and expanded manual on Dell' support for the laptop.

    Regarding the wireless.

It is possible that the wireless card is not operational and need to reinstall drivers.

    Maybe this can help.

Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Make sure that if there is Wireless Utility a utility vendor is not running with the native Windows wireless utility.

  • Problems with getting a wireless connection for my IPOD touch 32 GB

Bought an IPOD itouch 32 gb last night.  When I connected the ipod, it is connected to my itunes account and copied my music for me.

It is also recognized by the name of WI - FI for my wireless account.  Unfortunately, I can't remember or find my password for my wireless connection and so I am unable to connect my wireless to the ipod and establishing the ability to connect to the internet and get my email, etc.

What is the best course of action for me now.  Should I drop my wireless connection and it restore?  Note: I have a laptop that connects fine, but he asks me a password... it goes directly to the wireless?

    Thank you!

Go into your router configuration utility and in most cases, you will see the password. If the password is not in clear text, you can change it to something that you will remember. If you do this, you will need to change the settings on the laptop, too.

To enter the router configuration utility, connect a computer with an ethernet cable. Open a browser such as Firefox or IE and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. For a Linksys router, you must type: 192.168.1.1 [press on enter]. Refer to the manual of your router for more details.
